We visited this dealership to sign up for a motability car and the service and process was absolutely amazing! We dealt with Kathy Higham who is the motability specialist and she is honestly the best in the business! We first visited Skipton VW before here and they were so rude, patronising and don’t make us feel welcome at all they were also absolutely clueless about the scheme! If you live near Skipton I would 100% make the extra journey to see Kathy at Blackburn instead!

There is a lot to learn on the ID3 so she agreed to ring us again in a week to see if there are any questions, and she offered a follow-up handover as well should we need one. Altogether excellent service.

My experience with Volkswagen Blackburn has been extremely disappointing, and unfortunately, one of the worst dealership experiences I have encountered.
I raised concerns regarding software issues and persistent noise coming from the vehicle. However, these concerns were repeatedly dismissed, with little regard shown for customer reassurance or safety. When it came to warranty work they was basically not interested. Despite the fault not being properly diagnosed, I was still charged.
Even after providing video evidence and accompanying the team on a test drive to demonstrate the issue, there appeared to be no clear understanding or resolution offered. This lack of accountability and technical clarity was incredibly frustrating, leaving me to drive a car which I feel unsafe is disappointing.
To add to the disappointment, the vehicle was returned to me unwashed and in poor condition, with bird droppings still on it, a basic level of customer care that was sadly overlooked.
Overall, the service fell far below expectations. I would strongly advise others to AVOID VW DEALERSHIP AT BLACKBURN AT ALL COST. I will certainly be sharing my experience with family, friends, and colleagues.

Paul at Lookers Blackburn was so welcoming and helpful in our search for a car. He offered us options for waiting it out to order a newer model in Spring, but as we needed something sooner, he then supported our search for Used models with the same care and support as I know he would for a New car; guiding us through the process, including finance options, part-exchange deals and made the whole painless: will definitely recommend and be back!

Had my car serviced TWICE, never sent a health check video when one tyre was in need of changing, luckily had it booked already at ATS for a change and NEVER washed. Even broke my number plate cover and then denied. Aftercare needs an audit.
