Today I brought my Golf into Lookers Wimbledon for a software update. As the work was scheduled to take two days, a loan car was essential. While the technical work was completed well, the booking and handover process could be smoother.I was notified of the £35 loan car fee only the day before, which made planning difficult. On arrival, there was also some confusion regarding whether my "Comprehensive" insurance met the "Fully Comprehensive" requirement. Since these terms are actually identical in the industry, the disagreement felt unnecessary and required a call to my leasing company to resolve, delaying my morning.I also found it difficult to get clear details on late-return penalties, which I needed for my work schedule. Providing full clarity on fees and insurance terms at the initial booking stage would turn this into a much more seamless experience for customers.

The staff at the check in desk were very helpful and approachable. They clearly explained what was being done to my car. All works carried out well and I was kept informed each step of the way. My car was handed back cleaned and running very well. Thank you to Lookers at Wimbledon - I wouldn't trust anyone else to look after my beloved (if a little old and tired) vw. 😁

The service team in Wimbledon did a great job to repair my car quickly after it was broken in and the rear screen had to be replaced.

Very professional. Very polite. Got the issues resolved without fleecing me. James was the key contact. He kept me updated through the process.
I could not drop off my car on time as the tow truck was delayed by a few hours and he took that into account, no issues. I was able to get there just after they closed. Frank waited back and checked me in without any fuss or issues.

Please avoid this company at all cost!!! Worst customer service ever. NO communication at all. Had new instrument cluster fitted(£1584.60), without informing me that new cluster is not going to show in miles as it was but in Km/h. Also my new mileage/km reading is showing in total 21000miles LESS now. (from last mot history check is 15000 miles less), “Manager” Mark RUDELY hang his phone dawn when I requested to put all this info on my bill. Shocking shocking and shameful behaviour.
