Absolutely shocking experience with this company. Ordered an iPod Nano on 2 Jan and kept being told it would ship and it never arrived. It was never shipped. Then getting the refund has been painful. I still haven’t been refunded they have my money! I have had to go through my bank’s chargeback scheme but have been told it will take a while. I feel this is a scam company to be honest. Stay away.

Buyer be very AWARE!!! Avoid at all cost and choose different suppliers which offer amazing customers service from order to delivery.
Order placed 12/01/'26 - conformation email was sent with delivery and product being dispatched within 4 working days. Product never arrived to this day despite chasing and follow up email with empty promises. ONE MONTH ON STILL NOTHING.
PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST as you will be disappointed.

This company is a scam. Do not buy from them you will not receive your goods. I ordered refurbished PC on dec 6th. They told me it was being delivered next day delivery by DPD on two different days but nothing arrived. Their phone lines have been disconnected also their emails keep bouncing back so there is no way in contacting them. They are thieves. STAY AWAY FROM THEM

Three words perfectly describe Macs4sale: lying, deceitful crooks.

I ordered a Mac display from them in mid-August. Their website clearly showed the item as in stock, and the price seemed reasonable, so I placed the order. I received an order confirmation and even a delivery notification for the following day. What actually arrived was the wrong monitor, shoved into poorly wrapped packaging.

I immediately tried to return it, but even that became a farce. It took a full week just to receive return instructions. Once they finally got the incorrect item back, I was told the correct monitor would be sent out “straight away”. That was an outright lie.

For over a month, I was fed nothing but excuses and empty promises:
“we’ll send one out,”
“I’ll personally look into this,”
“we definitely have them in stock.”

Absolute nonsense. Not a single thing was ever dispatched. Just endless lies, delays, and time-wasting emails until I finally lost all patience.

I then requested a refund. Surprise, surprise, that hasn’t happened either. Instead, I received yet more false assurances, followed by complete radio silence. Emails are now simply ignored.

I’m currently £310 out of pocket with no product, no refund, and no resolution whatsoever.

AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. Macs4sale will not honour your purchase, they will not honour your refund, and their delay tactics and dishonesty — particularly from Kashif and Mudassrah in the Accounts Department — are disgraceful.

If you are reading this then you have done the right thing in doing your due diligence on checking this company’s reputation on Trust Pilot. DON’T risk your well earned cash with Macs4sale, you will lose it!!

Mac4sale is a good value for money. I bought mobile iPads and iMacs in the past, and now sent my last iMac for buyback, which was replaced by y new Mac mini with customised specs even received packing from them. I can honestly recommend them.

Wish I had read the reviews before I made my purchase.

Haven't heard anything from them since I got my email confirmation of my order. No updates, no despatch confirmation or tracking info. Seems that is a pretty common experience with these guys.

Emailing now to cancel my order.

Update: so they completely ignored my request to cancel the order and sent it out anyway. What arrived was a Mac mini wrapped in two old bits of bubble wrap, parts of which had been completely deflated. There was no marking on the box to state that the item inside was fragile. I've seen better packaging from sellers on vinted.

Then, icing on the cake is that the unit they sent me has not been factory reset. Quick Google online and it's a major red flag if a company sends you a secondhand unit that hasn't been factory reset because it can cause numerous problems and can indicate it's an ex business or university unit that could still be shut down remotely.

Final thing is their refunds and returns policies have about 7 violations of the Consumer Rights Act in them. A long list of illegal or just plain wrong terms and clauses. Hilariously they have the audacity to have a whole section dedicated to how customers should carefully package up any returns.

The Macbook Pro I bought from the company was excellent, I wouldn't have known that it wasn't brand new apart from the slightly lower spec compared with a brand new product. Full marks.
Service was good, on the whole, Kashif responded quickly, answering my emails within the hour. One slight hitch was the lack of a charger, two plugs and a cable! I had to send a second email reminding K to send one, he admitted he had forgotten. Lovely to hear someone admit to a mistake rather than the usual blather. The charger arrived the next day.

Bought M4 air with 32GB ram took two weeks but preferred refurbished machine is like brand new with Apple warranty total savings £300 as compared to Apple website bargain.

Bought gaming pc arrived on time, works as it should be .

Bought iPad 5th Gen and it was not sure about iPad 5th Gen compatible keyboard received genuine advice and recommendations about product compatible with my machine received item with in weeks time happy customer.

I was looking for a customised-spec MacBook Pro 2024 but couldn’t find any options available online or through marketplaces. I decided to order from Mac4Sale. They informed me it would take around two weeks, which I was fine with. The laptop arrived on time, and I’m very happy with the machine. I also saved over £600 compared to buying new.

Bought budget refurbished Apple laptop for £500 it arrived on time and served the purpose.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.
I purchased a refurbished laptop in March. Delivery was very slow and poor communication.
Laptop broke within 6 months (fault identified as a poor repair that was undertaken by them previously) and they are refusing to repair or replace for free. Did however offer to sell me another laptop with a discount. NO CHANCE. I am currently in process of claiming money back through my Credit Card provider.

Poor customer service continues.

After cancelling our order and being told they have processed a refund we still have nothing almost 2 weeks later. We asked for an update and heard nothing back. When we inform them we have raised it with Mastercard we just get told

“Thanks for letting me know. As you have already informed me about complain so we have to wait for response from Mastercard.

I am left without an item and they are holding onto my funds unnecessarily now despite saying they’ve processed a refund.

They have also breached my confidentiality by posting personal details about me and not taken them down despite being asked.

I’ve also been asked by them to remove my review and only then will they remove the information I’ve asked them to remove. Which is concerning.

My suspicion is that they are not a UK based company at all - if this is important to you then don’t use them. That the phone number and address they give are just symbolic I presume.

And that they are a fairly amateur outfit vs a business with an actual “accounts dept” etc as they claim. It is sad that they are not more open. I have asked many times and they do not answer.

I made a purchase on June 9th via mac4sale and the service was really good.

I placed an order with mac4sale.co.uk for a MacBook Air 11" (i7) in early June. Before ordering, I even called them to double-check it was in stock. They confirmed that it was and said it would ship within the next couple of days.

A few days later, I called again — and they reassured me everything was fine and the MacBook would ship soon.

Then, on my next call, they suddenly told me it was out of stock. They offered me a 13-inch model or an 11-inch with an i5 instead. I clearly said I didn’t want any of that — I had ordered the i7 for a reason. It was about portability and specific specs.

To make things worse, the next time I called, the rep didn’t even know that I had called before or that there was a case logged. That’s when it became clear to me that they were completely disorganized — or worse.

So on 16 June, I cancelled the order by phone and requested an immediate refund. They confirmed on the call that I would receive a confirmation email the same day. According to both their policy and UK law, I should have received the refund by 30 June at the latest.

On 30 June, I emailed them for an update. Their reply? “We are checking with finance.”
On 2 July, I gave them a final warning: either refund me that day or I would report them to UK Trading Standards and Citizens Advice, and publish a review.

On 4 July, they replied with, “Oh, we think finance already refunded you — we’ll check and come back to you shortly.” (Translation: never.)

So here we are, 8 July, and still no refund. I’ve had to initiate a chargeback with my bank and file a complaint with UK Citizens Advice.

This was a horrible experience — misleading communication, false promises, and no professionalism whatsoever.

Stay away. This is not a REAL business - this is a SCAM!
