I am 💯 satisfied with my experience with Mccath cars, Maria was very courteous and polite,she didn't try and sell me stuff that i didn't need. I attended when my car wasn't ready,i didn't listen tobthe voicemail advising me not to attend yet, nevertheless, she paid for my uber for attending and also paid for an uber to take me home. She came to work on her off day..on Sunday just to make sure I got my car on time. I am very pleased with the car I bought, thanks a lot, would definitely recommend

On my arrival was greeted by Jonathan who made me feel welcome,we had a little chat about how the company works which by the way was very impressive.I then was invited to test drive the car I was interested in was very impressed.
We had another chat where Jonathan talked me through all the option which were also very good,so needless to say I brought my Audi A3 S Line and have had no issues what so ever,would recommend Mccarthy Cars to anyone.

Have had nothing but problems with the car I bought for Mccarthys first coolant leaking ,they so called repaird thermostat and water pump knowing it was the head gasket,had in another garage and found out the cylinder head was cracked all repaird, now had the RAC repair van out because it won't start have been told it is the fuel pump not working, this car has and is costing me a small fortune and not a word from macathys,really feel ripped off.

Found a fab SUV which I'm really pleased with. Dealt with John who made the process very straightforward and was very helpful. Would definitely recommend, thank you John.

I've never known a garage to prepare their vehicles so throughly, any alloy wheel damage is repaired as standard and they give you 100 miles north of fuel as standard.

I visited McCarthy Cars in Mitcham on 15 October to look at a Ford Focus. It was late afternoon and I and a friend were seen by Sales Executive Steve Paice. We noted the parcel shelf was missing and Steve said he would order one for us within the deal if I went ahead. He also undertook to ask the valeting to do some hard work to take out some scratches. We looked over the car together and then went on a test drive alone. We then sat down and went through the details, covering, among other things, the RAC check, history of ownership, servicing and MOT, and options re a second key, three year warranty and RAC cover, various bespoke insurance extensions, payment options etc.

Throughout the conversation Steve was unhurried, professional, knowledgeable, informative, friendly without being overfamiliar and there was no hard sell or pressure of any kind. I decided to go ahead and which options to add and paid a deposit. He recommended a salvage company to collect my previous car (engine had imploded).
I returned as agreed on 18th October to collect the car and pay the balance. Steve took me through the document folder and did the car tax application online for me. He covered a few other points and answered a few queries I had and I drove off.

The arrangements with the salvage company went very smoothly. I didn't ask about the parcel shelf on 18th but Steve must have already ordered it and he texted me that it had arrived on Monday 21st and I collected it the same day. That is the kind of thing that might
just slide but not on this occasion. Of such points the fifth star is made!

The process as a whole was a very pleasing and comfortable way of making a major purchase where I don't have significant knowledge of the product area. In a few years' time should I need to buy another car I will certainly look out Mccarthy cars to see what is available.

My number was shared ( I assume) with another sales person without my permission they called from the following number 07967473616. Unsure of their name I asked Maria to speak to a branch manager she stated I should receive a call back 15/11.

Therefore, I was not expecting another call from a salesperson who was querying my visits to your site which are years apart complaining I never ended up(in rude and aggressive tone and intimidating for man to be talking to woman like this)buying a car I was not under the impression I had buy a car from your dealership every time I visit to make enquiries. Also, the points he was making are irrelevant and it was nothing to do with him I would like to know why and how he's accessed my personal information? He had told me he had finished work and was at home ,this is ridiculous and he was just going off on a tangent.
I have my own financing which has been fully approved I was told conflicting information by Maria about getting financing directly from Mc Carthys I had explained I do not want to do too many credit searches and that I was happy with my lender(she stated if you cannot get finance from us you be won't be approved anywhere). I had seen the car advertised on Maria's desktop for 10995 which she confirmed verbally I emailed later that day confirming never got a response( I have a paper trail )several hours later I see advertised for 11795 . Extremely confusing and not good practice. Prior to all the above taking place I had asked a local mechanic to come to view the car with me. For peace of mind I have a healthy deposit. I would like a copy of your complaint's procedure. DONT BUY WARRANTY if you pay part on a credit card or straight financing/you are covered under CONSUMER CREDIT ACT 2015 for the whole amount this is better THAN ANY WARRANTY.
