METROLINE best forever.
METROLINE is amazing company. The service is very nice and fast. I found my lost property on same day. The Metroline team cooperate very well with me. Special thanks to Bus driver Mr Aniceto Franades (237 Bus route, Brentford) for taking care of my property and give me respectfully. Overall, I always prefer or choose METROLINE while traveling as compare to another. Thanks alot for supporting and taking care of your customers. Keep doing!🫡😊👍
Bad practice regarding lost property
One morning I left a white carrier bag containing clothes on one of their buses. I phoned in the afternoon and an Asian sounding lady immediately told me that they didn’t have it without any checking. She told me to phone the next day at 1pm which I did. I was now being told that items are sent off either in the evening or the next morning and a bag matching my description of a white carrier bag had gone off. I was told that the systems were down so he could not confirm the contents with me, however he oddly had a reference number for the item. I was willing to collect from the depot and had phoned within two hours of leaving the item behind so why was I told to phone after the item would have gone off? I phoned again later that day and a gentleman checking on the system told me that the contents of the bag was not recorded and I was again given the same reference. The reference number did not result in me getting anything back from TFL. Quite simply don’t trust anything that Metroline staff tell you and don’t expect your item to be returned to you.

I am writing this as to request an investigation into the conduct of Mohammed, who is responsible for managing the holiday scheduling and shift assignments for drivers. It has come to my attention that there have been significant delays in processing drivers' requests, with many left pending for weeks or even months.
This prolonged inaction not only undermines the efficiency of our operations but also raises concerns regarding adherence to established protocols and regulations. It is imperative that we ensure compliance with all operational guidelines to maintain a fair and equitable work environment for all drivers.
I urge you to look into this matter promptly to uphold the integrity of our scheduling process and to address the concerns of the drivers affected by these delays.
Thank you for your attention to this important issue.
Seats are as hard a rock

ARRIVA IS BETTER
Their bus #134 hit me
Their bus #134 hit me, have multiple injuries. I’m in hospital now. Bad drivers driving very fast on London roads and always rushing and overtaking.
Metroline denied injuries from dangerous driving
I was an injured passenger by dangerous driving of a bus route 120 from Hounslow to Northholt (July 2022). The driver had terrible control of his accelerator and brake pedals. His driving was erratic to say the least. He then went on to slam the doors on me and shout abuse at me. He then played victim to another bus driver who denied that he knew him. He was clearly at fault thus he was being very aggressive towards me.
This driver was asian with glasses and not even wearing a uniform, he wore a plain white t-shirt.
Long story short:
Metroline ignored my photos of injuries
They said there was no CCTV of the incident, despite asking me to confirm where I was sitting on the bus
They refused to accept blame via the Ministry of Justice
They offered no apology or compensation
Metroline were clearly at fault for injuries caused by dangerous driving by one of their drivers along with physical and verbal abuse and for these reasons they denied everything including refusing to disclose CCTV footage of the incident. They kept quiet. They deleted the CCTV footage.
This transport company recruits cheap poorly qualified labour so that profit remains high. It does not care for the safety of people. It is not a regulated service.
These buses are a high risk to public.
I regularly use Southern Vectis and the quality of driving and customer service is always excellent, as opposed to Metroline.
There needs to be regulations and standards to avoid the recruitment of poorly qualified and poor performing drivers for the sake of profit.
The worst experience
I was a candidate at the Metroline. I've received their welcome guide pack, the I managed to set up an interview appointment (I had 3 dates and time slots, I could chose from). The interview itself was a formal video call which has ended with another appointment for a driving assessment.
The assessment took place at the Willesden Junction depo in North-West London.
I've entered into the site and followed the signs to the reception. I've been greeted by a "receptionist" and asked me how she can help. After there was a gentleman who invited me in another room and photocopied all the requested documents. Then alcohol and drug tests. All negative, all the paperwork has completed, I was ready for do the driving assessment.
The driving inspector was rude... Unbelievably rude and arrogant. First he saw me, he sized me, then he went to took a key. Second time he told me to follow him (The basic courtesy doesn't exist at this Depo.), then he asked me, if I came with a car. I've told him, I don't drive too often because I use public transport. "That's how you'd like to convince me, you can drive a bus?" - he said.
After that I wasn't able to concentrate and focus on anything. He shocked me, he pledged me and already decided, he will fail me. Seriously? That is how you treat your candidates? I can't even imagine how you treat your employees. I would never ever in my life would go and work for this company. It's a shame. That's how you ease the pressure on the person who is already under that?
Unfortunately I can't write names, because I don't know their names... as I said, there is no courtesy on that site.
Bus 90 is a devils bus
Bus 90 is a devils bus. Seriously, not only it stinks in the summer and winter but why on earth many buses terminate at Hatton green? Such a small place, crowded, and empty buses continue towards Feltham. You finally get a seat and immediately must get off.
Who manages this?
Fedup with this metroline busses 140…

Metroline Buses Amateurs!
Applying as an agency driver, this is an industry full of Cowboys and Indians. From my experience of the bus industry making hash claims they are a professional bunch, they are far from it! I passed my bus assessment at Willesden Junction and then took the usual induction course. Following day I was assigned my route learning from Brentford lock depot. Myself and Sharon the route tutor, could not take an empty bus out of the garage so we had to jump a bus that was in service. I learnt my route from the top deck with the route tutor. as the day drew to an end, she withdrew from the cabin and went upstairs to the managers office. Upon returning she asked me for the lock keys saying they were the wrong ones and confiscated them! She then said bizarrely, that I could take a bus out and learn the route alone, which I thought was backward thinking, given she had taken the keys off me. I told her I would continue the route learning from home on YouTube. She said to me ok, see you in the morning. When I got home, I rang my agent (Integrated Solutions) to ask about the following mornings route learning/service. my agent said that they wouldn't be taking my role any further owing to my 'bad attitude'! I can't think who they had mixed me up with but my agent said they had not. I was in high spirits and talking to the drivers in an upbeat mood and even made the tutor laugh. I got the axe before I even drove a route. No pay and no expenses paid, so I was out of pocket and back as an unemployed person. AVOID this lot and stay well clear of them. Complete amateurs!!
