It was an incredible experience, Belinda was really nice and she was so helpful with everything

Very helpful member of staff, Lee. Helped us chose a camping seat and found 6 of our choice in the storeroom. He ordered another 6 chairs and had them sent to our house. He checked for promotions and offers. Funny too.

Very very helpful staff (Lee). Helped me get a right size trousers for my daughter and also Lee gave discount for DofE , which I was not aware of. Helped me get a summer sleeping bag. I'm very satisfied with the purchase and the helpful attitude of the staff.

While in town though I would try my luck
With some air beds was helped by Sophie
I also was able to get bug spray and other bits had great advice and everything I wanted plus more.
But now thinking about a jumper I was looking at 🫣

Had a bent camping tent pole that I've been running around like a headless chicken to fix at other shops - with no success.
Then Brought it in to Millets today,
Met Gareth who was the right man for the job. He sorted it out in no time. Quick, efficient, and friendly! Thank you Gareth!!!!

It will be my first time camping, this Summer. I've been going to Millets for supplies and the store is always tidy, the stock is reasonably priced and the staff are all friendly. It was my second time buying from Sophie. The first time she helped me with my hiking boots and this time, she was just as patient and kind. She knew the layout of the shop well, and recommended different products for my query on comfort while hiking. She is a wonderful member of the team. I can't recommend her enough. :)

Made two recent visit’s to Millets Colchester and was served by Robert on both occasions he was very polite and helpful.
I purchased a pair of Dunlop Wellington boots which had to be ordered as not having my size in stock. Great value for money and very comfortable.
Also purchased a pair of cotton shorts also very comfortable.
Both items were sold at a promotion price too.

Always come into this shop, Sophie, Gareth and Lindy are always very helpful

All the staff in Millets are very helpful and kind. Belinda (colchester shop) was very helpful even tried to find me a cheaper version of the product I had purchased.
I will be very sorry to see the shop go. I shop in Millets quite often.

Staff, especially Belinda, were really nice and helpful. With their help me and my partner could find everything we needed really quickly. We really enjoyed the experience

The store is very convenient for me in the town centre. It has a lot of different items packed into a small space, everything from clothing, footwear to camping needs. What really keeps me shopping here? - the staff. Both my boys are doing DOE expeditions and the staff have a wealth of advice and knowledge of what I need to buy. Their advice has been invaluable to me!

Millets in Colchester had a sale on - great bargain on my favourite North Face hiking shoes. Belinda was great - friendly and terrific service.

My 13 year old is travelling to South Africa for world Experience, helping out at the Orphanage in Etswatini, we came to Millets in Colchester, we was after some hiking trainers and a ruck sack, we found lots of other things he would need, like leaf, soap and leaf shampoo small packaging, Robert who was serving was very helpful, with the the boots, which ones were waterproof, and camping ideas of what he might need. Thanks Robert.
