Millets - Middlesbrough Avis 

Was welcomed when we entered the shop and the assistants moved stands so that my husband could wheel the wheelchair to top of the shop. Sam gave me the information I asked for in relation to purchasing waterproof walking shoes. He was quick to go and get size required and I bought the first pair I tried on.

Popped in today to look at some hiking shoes. Decided to wait but my eye was caught by a bargain rain jacket. Jacqueline served me and could not have beem more helpful. Great service! There is direct competition with Trespass, but i will shop at Millets from now on. It is like walking into a genuine mountain shop in Bowness or Ambleside.

Millets has a very good website. As it was my first time to purchase a sleeping bag there was a wealth of information on what type of sleeping bag I would need. The shop servers are very pleasant. I love going in there to browse. The buyer is not stood over you so that you feel pressure to buy.

I went to purchase some boots for work, and the employee James was incredibly helpful, and helped me size up and try on boots, and recommended some thick socks to wear underneath. Love james, love millets

I use Millets often. I always find the staff friendly, courteous and very helpful, but not pushy. The store is well laid out, and well stocked. I prefer shopping in a real shop as one can get a feel of the quality of the goods, and Millets seem to be as decent price in the shop as is found online.
I’ve been served twice by Jonny now, both of which were a good experience, so I am prompted to write this review.

When my son's family holiday was in danger of falling flat because they'd been repeatedly let down by online retailers promising and then failing to deliver the tent they needed, Mo and his colleague in the Middlesbrough branch of Millets saved the day by finding what seemed to be the last available particular tent that they needed. Mo reserved the tent for me without requesting a deposit and then beat the price of their cheapest online competitor. On top of this they even carried the tent out to our car when I went to collect it. I couldn't have asked for better service and I can't thank them enough.

James was very helpful in helping me for what I needed to buy. He was also very friendly and asked questions in order to help me find what I was looking for and what would be ideal for me.

Me and my husband popped in to Millets to get a waterproof Jacket a lovely lady Jacqueline served us and was very helpful.

Just got some Brasher trousers... that fit me 29 leg and a 36ish waist. I can't get trousers to fit me. But just have. Brilliant will be definitely be going back soon, well done Millets. Service was really good as well.

Had my dining table chairs delivered by Paul and Tony B what lovely and helpful men they were great service guys keep the good work up 👍

Computer system failed to recognise correct address for delivery. 5 phone calls later I was finally told that the address could not be amended and that delivery had failed. Really disappointed as I wanted the shoes. Had to go back to the shop for a refund.

Excellent customer service from James. When I asked about a coat I had seen online, he located it in store. He also offered advice on footwear.

I had difficulty finding a gaz canister for a small stove. Extensive online searching lead me to Jonny at Millets in Middlesbrough. He was extremely helpful on the phone, gave me advice re parking and good directions to find the store. He checked the stove, fitted the gaz canister the ensure a correct fit, gave me options with regard to price and excellent practical advice comparing one product with another. He was a perfect example of excellent customer service -thank you Millets and many thanks Jonny

Sales Assistant was so helpful and offered great advice & service, and the home delivery service was amazing, 24 hrs and del on a sunday.

Jonny had good people skills; approachable and with a good sense of humour. This was greatly appreciated as an individual who is only just getting into outdoor activities. I would shop here again
