I first came in weeks ago ( date of experience 11.9.25 is an estimate, sorry can't remember exact dates, but they might remember me! ) I was in a rush but spoke with Katt about hiking boots who was extremely helpful, honest, polite and knowledgeable. Because she was so lovely and helpful, said I would only come back on the days she was in to buy a pair of hiking boots with her knowledge!
Unfortunately I returned on the wrong day to buy my hiking boots, Katt wasn't in (was my mistake, got the days wrong!) Fed up that I wasn't going to get Katt's expertise, the lovely, polite and helpful Kiera said she would get someone else to help me.
Well, once again Jakes knowledge, honesty, expertise and patience with all my questions, totally impressed me, he was so polite.
I can't explain enough how these 3 people are an absolute credit to this store in Southsea and only wish every shop you entered was like this, filled with Katts, Jakes and Kieras.
What beautiful souls they are and so very grateful for their help, time and patience 🙏 Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND shopping here.
By the way, I bought my hiking boots...so thank you everyone 😀

Great customer service and friendly knowledgeable staff. I took an item back (boots) that stitching had failed on after a couple of days use. I couldn't find receipt just my online record. The gent who served me found my till receipt and completed the exchange. Thank you for exemplary customer service

The male assistant was very helpful when I needed to purchase a rain jacket and some suede waterproofing spray .
I explained what I needed and he showed some great reasonably priced items .

This was my first time shopping with you, and I was very impressed by the two young male staff members who assisted me in purchasing a raincoat and wellies. I needed to try on several coats, and throughout the process they remained patient, helpful, and unfailingly polite. Young people often receive unfair criticism, but these two demonstrated the kind of manners and attitude any parent would be proud of. Well done to them – I’ll definitely be returning to the Portsmouth Southsea branch.

Not sure I want to be asked to donate to your chosen charity, why not have a info up on a board at the till and make it more voluntary

Katt served me and was extremely helpful and patient.
I had gone in to buy a repacement pair of Merrell's sandals which had lasted 20yrs but as I now have arthritic big toe joints, finding the right size in footwear is very problematic.
Being able to shop in-store is essential for me, I was able to try on and compare the fit of different sizes in both men's and women's sandals.
By the time I left the store, I was confident that I had explored all possibilities and had bought the pair which offered the best chance of many years of comfort.
I really appreciated Katt's willingness to give me as much time as I needed to make my decision.

Only stopped so dog could have a drink from bowl they have outside and saw sandals on sale rack. They were a good fit and same as ones I've had for years from there so got them. Young guy serving was polite and friendly. It's nice that dogs are welcome and he was even given a treat. These shops are so few and far between I really hope this one stays in Palmerston road. Me and my husband often buy things in there

What amazing staff! The Southsea Millet's staff are always friendly, attentive and kind. The shop may be small, but it is very well stocked - and there are great bargains to be had! Perfect for a fairweather hiker like me.

We were really pleased with the welcome by Nadya. At the Southsea branch of Millets. We had received a awful lot of help. We bought some fleeces, t shirts and a pair of Merrell sandals.
