Minko's Macs Avis 

Their spares are ridiculously expensive and they couldn’t be bothered to post a small item for 12 days and that was only after I had to ring them up every other day !
Made me look bad for a good customer

Royal Mail deliver on Saturdays !
Couriers can delivery on Sundays
It’s 2026 not 1976 .
I’m a hobbyist repairer as a little extra cash comes in useful

Minko Mac’s has to be the best electronics shop in south east. Wonderful customer service and knowledgeable about anything you need help with. There is literally no electronics they can’t fix. Since discovering this shop I don’t trust any other shop with my electronics I only use the best of the best. Thanks guys for being awesome in this rude world as well as being people of your word. Don’t ever change.

Good company very understanding

Excellent service. I had an emergency with my laptop being compromised. Minko let me come to the branch towards the end of the day and reset my laptop. Given what had happened this took some time and I appreciated it greatly given that it was such short notice and at the end of the day. The whole process was very thorough and Minko explained exactly what he was doing and explained what might have happened and what I should be looking out for. Highly recommended for any issues you may have with your Mac. He is super knowledgeable and helpful.

Great seller to deal with! They offer free Mac laptops and also trade in old Macs, which is really helpful and convenient. Communication was clear, the process was smooth, and everything was handled professionally. A good option if you’re looking to recycle, upgrade, or get affordable tech. Highly recommended!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Minko’s Mac Camden. I had been messaging the shop regarding a Mac Studio listed at £2,500. Based on that price and our correspondence, I travelled to the shop specifically to purchase the device on the spot.

The Issues or trap I don't know:

Sudden Price Increase: Upon arrival, I was told the price had suddenly jumped to £3,000. Increasing the price by £500 right as a customer shows intent to buy is highly unprofessional.

Poor Management Communication: The shop assistant was helpful and answered my technical questions, but explained that only the manager, Minko, could address the pricing.

Wasted Time: I waited in the shop for 45 minutes and tried calling the manager multiple times, even leaving a voicemail. I received no response and no courtesy call back.

In total, I wasted 4-5 hours of my time traveling and waiting. It is very poor business practice to bait a customer with one price and then become unavailable when asked to honor it. If you’re looking for price transparency and professional management, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

When my computer died after 12 years of dutiful service I didn't know where to put myself, especially when I discovered that Apple don't make 27" iMacs any longer. I had used it every day for making my art work and so this was a total disaster with a capital D! I spent more than two weeks scouring every computer shop between London and Croydon without any joy. And then I discovered Minko's Macs on Lee High Road in Lewisham - my saviours!!! For a reasonable price they supplied me with a refurbished 27" iMac including all the apps I had come to rely on. One month on and my 'new' computer has been working without any problems or glitches. So thank you Minko's. So, if you have a Mac which is having problems, then I warmly suggest that you go to Minko's who will provide you with a service way over and above the call of duty.
