Item ordered on 6th January on a 14-16…
Item ordered on 6th January on a 14-16 week lead time.
Have been told it's now likely to be more like a 27 week lead time.
The customer service team have been very pleasant, but will not guarantee the delivery - even at 27 weeks!
Not a low cost item so extremely disappointed.
It's only a foot stool... who'd have thought it would take 7 months to make a foot stool....

Dear Beth, we are so sorry that this foot stool is taking so long to get to you - we completely understand your frustration at having to wait. This is a long-standing supplier of ours and we normally have very few issues with them.
However, this particular item is hand-crafted in Poland and lead times are currently affected by the movement of people and unsettled situation near the border with the Ukraine. Unfortunately this also means that they are unable to give us guaranteed updates regarding lead times. We have been told that your foot stool has been produced and is ready for shipping. Our customer service team has your order flagged which means it is being monitored and will be checked on every few days. Beth, please accept our sincere apologies for this delay and be assured that as soon as the item arrives in our warehouse it will be transported on to you. LOVE LOVE LOVE …
LOVE the bench and chairs in faux leather. They are beautifully constructed! Everyone loves them, lots of compliments and a superb colour. Speedy delivery and construction of legs was super easy. Would highly recommend.

I purchased a 2-seat sofa from Modish Living. The choice of fabrics was good and the piece stylish and well made. Service and communications were good, and I was kept informed of delivery date and times, with the delivery personnel polite and helpful.

Bought a bed
Bought a bed in the sale for the spare bedroom. Now wish we had bought it for ourselves as its absolutely beautiful!
The delivery drivers built it for us quickly and took away all the packaging.
We wanted to find an ethical company with good quality furniture and we certainly found it.

The tv unit was well packaged and was true to description. We were kept informed about what was happening. I was slightly concerned on reading the delivery companies reviews, but I need not have worried. They kept me informed regarding delivery and the 2 young men, who delivered the table were really polite and helpful.

Had to chase for a delivery update through customer service as I couldn’t get through to the courier company. They were very helpful and prompted the courier to get in touch. Great quality table, very well made and sturdy. Thank you

Still waiting for my table and chairs…
Still waiting for my table and chairs which I ordered on the 2/01. Deposit paid and keep getting advised (when I chase this), that there are further delays. If I’d known it was going to take this long I would have gone elsewhere. While Covid is understandably impacting, I have not experienced any such delay with other items I have ordered with other suppliers! Frustrating to say the least.

Hi Yvette, we are sorry it is taking some time to get your table and chairs to you. Your pre-order was placed on 2/1 and I can see my colleague wrote to you on 4/1 and confirmed that the estimated delivery was in March but that this could be subject to change due to the current global climate - this table will be at our supplier in the next few days - it's just moved back a week or so arriving late March / early April. Although Covid has impacted production times, this slight delay is due to the fact that the table is coming in an overseas container and being imported to the UK. Unfortunately, in the current global shipping climate, our supplier has very little control over exactly how long shipping and importing may take. We completely understand waiting can be very frustrating and we do everything possible to estimate delivery lead times as accurately as possible and also to keep waiting times as short as possible. This is a beautiful table and chairs set and we are sure you will not be disappointed with your choice. With best wishes, the Modish Living team
