We bought a chelwood reclaimed dining table and bench and it is just amazing and sustainably made.

I prefer to give a company time to respond to and remedy an issue. However, having read some reviews, I am now beginning to wonder if ordering from this company was in fact a good decision. We have received our product in tact and professionally prepared for delivery. Unfortunately, what has followed is not professional. The chest we ordered is; scratched with holes in it and it also has 'white paint' marks which I cannot imagine how they got there because this is not a painted piece of furniture!

My problem already with this company is; (1) How could they release a product in such horrible condition? (2) When I attempted to call them, I received a voice mail system which is not reassuring in the least. I will continue to update everyone as this situation unfolds. If we need to demand a refund or run into more problems with this company and their lack of service, I will not only let the public know, but will be forced to take the next step...

I have receive a call from the owner of the business who appears to be very diligent, helpful and dedicated to making her business an overwhelming success. She sorted out an exchange for us and immediately organised delivery of a new Sideboard. We all can understanding - mistakes happen. It's how we remedy our mistakes that separates quality from mere mediocracy. I want to commend 'Jo' for taking full responsibility for the mistake, and immediately making it right! For now, I will give this company and service 4 STARS. Once we receive our replacement Sideboard in acceptable condition, I will up my rating to 5 STARS.

We are very happy with our purchase. The breakfast bar and stools are perfect. Delivered reasonably quickly considering there were the christmas holidays.

Utterly useless, sent me an incorrect item, brought this to their attention and haven't had any communication since, and now I am left with a £415 table that I don't want.

Please get in touch to deliver what I ordered.

We ordered a Rocco industrial oak dining table and are so happy with it! We asked modish for more pics before we bought and they sent us a really useful video which helped our purchase decision. The dining table is excellent quality and exceeded our expectations for quality at the price point. This was one of the only solid oak, non vaneer tables we could find within our budget.

Have bought a bed, table and chairs and all are great quality. Good communication on delivery, and stuck to agreed timescales (unusual at the moment)

Great service - I spoke to someone on the phone before placing the order to check it was in stock and they were friendly and helpful. The delivery company was excellent - swift, courteous, helpful. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the sideboard is more marked by old nail holes in the wood than I would have liked it to be. I'm considering filling in some of the holes myself but that would mean repainting, which defeats the purpose of paying so much money for a piece of furniture. I'm pleased to have bought a recycled piece of furniture but I think it could've been made to look slightly better.

Really pleased with my purchase and whole experience with Modish. Was searching for what I wanted for ages and then stumbled across Modish on Pinterest and found the perfect table. Delivery was quick and efficient and partial flat pack easy to put up. It's perfect and I would definitely use the company again.

Love the item of furniture, it is stylish and smelt amazing when it arrived! Drawers work nice and smoothly and it was as described.
