Left a 4 year old child and 5 month…
Left a 4 year old child and 5 month pregnant woman with no washing facilities for 4 days, repairs team came today to look at the shower for no longer than 5 minutes to leave and state wait for someone to be in contact as we cannot repair it. No time frame no alternative washing facility provided.

Doesn't even deserve 1 star. Just utterly disgusting, unqualified, aggorant, disrespectful morons! Had issues with them throughout my whole pregnancy and now while I'm 3 months into my maternity leave with two young children. My house is literally a health and safety risk, they just break things constantly. This company is no longer allowed in this house! I will be paying for my own builder and also contacting my solicitor again and the ombudsman. I'd be ashamed if I knew somebody who worked for these cowboys.
Do not buy property developed by Morgan Sindall
I bought a flat in 2022 which was developed by this Morgan Sindall. From outside it looked nice, however after I moved in, things started to break, the dish washer , the door frame, the wall surface in the corridor, the telecom, ect. They used very cheap quality materials to build the buidling. The telecom was kept broken in past 2 years, not just mine, but the whole building. The engineer said it was due to the poor quality . Even we were told 2 years after care service from the purchase day, however you rarely got through their after care customer line. If you are lucky to get through, they will play you and tell you they will get back to you asap which never happened. If you email them, they never reply you. The worst thing is they use very expensive and unprofessional service management company -- whose name is CRABTREE, they increase the service charge by 25% every year with very poor service provided. Our service cost in slough is even more expensive than my friend's flat (bigger size) in london zone 3. When you buy the flat, they do not tell you how expensive the service charge would be after you move in, also they did not tell you you need pay extra for bin collection because they agreed with council that residents had to pay for BIN COLLECTION. Of course you need pay council tax !

Morgan sindall are hiring the most unprofessional people and it's disgusting how they treat people after pulling down my ceiling they are so unorganised they did not book for it to be replaced I will now be left without a kitchen ceiling for 5 days with exposed wires and dust and plaster falling , when calling to beg for them to sort this the lady on the phone who is meant to be a customer service advisor was extremely rude and slammed the phone down on me despite me trying to explain I am disabled with small children and these living conditions are not safe

Were do I start with this company, we had a new hot water tank fitted, everything was going fine on their last day of installation (friday), we had to leave as we were going away for the weekend,so trusted them with the front door key and place in our key once finished.
We got back on the Sunday to find our dining room flooded from them putting a screw through the mains pipe, so leaking all weekend, so I turned off the water and made a call, we didn’t see anyone until the Tuesday, whilst fixing the leak, the guy dropped his drill into the now sodden plasterboard resulting in putting a huge hole into the living room ceiling, this was six weeks ago, and we have only just got them to pay for the carpet and rug we lost due to the leak, we still have a hole in the ceiling,the lack of support and communication,from the site manager Debbie Howick was none existent, the little communication we got from her she just told us lie after lie, about having someone to come and fix our ceiling and a broken piece of floorboard at the top of our stairs,which is a trip hazard, this what happens when you put leave the kids in charge, never again will I have any dealings with Morgan sindall,anyone thinking of having any dealings with this unprofessional company I would seriously think twice,just read the reviews.
Little to poor service from Morgan Sindalll
I am a Lease Holder below a Flat Serviced by Morgan Sindall. Over 6 moths ago water started pouring in from above and despite several pathetic attempts to fix the leak and too many wasted communications , I still get the sound of rain and a further spreading damp patch with water in my electrics. With over 4 billion pounds under contract to look after I get that one small repair can get lost in so much responsibility. I am at the point of full legal action and yet find time to give just one last chance. Someone show full common sense and send the Plumbers to relocate the bath and an electrician to rectify my electrics. He can bring his Decorator mate with him to treat and paint my ceiling. As a refference point I live in the area of Chingford.
Awful company
Property not truly fit/safe for use, unsafe repairs (or lack of) and when you do manage to get through to them via phone call, they expect you to shift your entire day about just for them as they "don't do timed appointments" the phone representatives are awful too, they show zero interest in being helpful or sorting repairs for any of the issues raised. Morgan SWINDAL is a more appropriate name for them. Cannot believe they're allowed to run their cowboy operation the way they do.
"How to excel at being useless"-experts at it
Never have I experienced incompetence on such an industrial scale, as demonstrated by this company. In 2024, they do at face value not even know how to pick up the phone. They say or promise one thing and then change the story to suit them. We're not just talking about changing a tap washer (doubt they could cope with this simple task anyway); no, we're talking about damp and mould. Oh and they sent a surveyor out to inspect the wrong wall as opposed to the one reported 😂. Not even worth one star, in fact they should have them taken away. Now, I attended their senior management presentation to our local council and myself as a member of the council residents panel, during which they said "we're going to do things differently and make changes to the way we work for the council, looking after the social housing stock". Chaps, you certainly have done so; you have excelled yourselves in making things ten times worse. You're special.

Morgan Sindall are contracted by LBHF…
Morgan Sindall are contracted by LBHF council to carry out annual gas safety checks on council properties. Today they sent an engineer, if he can be called as such, to carry out this check on my boiler. after completion and him leaving, I went to turn on my kitchen tap and there was no hot water, then I checked the boiler 'blue' burner light and just a digital green flashing L-2 in a loop. He had turned off the gas valve inside the appliance and refitted the casing forgetting to turn the valve back on. In my experience of the company, they have very few top quality engineers and recruit most from overseas. If you are a landlord, Then I'd request you to think twice before you hire this company. I called them to request the engineer returns to complete his hash of a job but the customer services lady said she could not get through to him. I rang LBHF maintenance and they said I would need to wait up to 24 hours however after I said I have no hot water at all and that MS engineer had turned off the gas valve of the boiler, they said they would send an engineer out in the next 4 hours. Overall I think LBHF made a bad choice in offering this company a contract. Their engineers are not up to the job.
Dirty water
A so called heating engineer turned up at my house for a problem with boiler. Next to the boiler I have a kitchen sink full up with pots and pans knives and forks normal stuff in clean hot soapy water waiting to be washed up. The engineer drained filthy and I mean filthy flux contained water from the boiler and chucked three containers wort about two t cups times three into my sink. Which can kill u if u was to drink it. And didn’t think nonthing of it. While I was in the kitchen at the same time. Can you believe it. I was in shock. Phoned the office. Lady manager. Didn’t give a flying fig. Don’t use them u or a member of your family could die. No excageration. That water contains lead.
Quite possibly the most idiotic company…
Quite possibly the most idiotic company you will ever have the misfortune to deal with . Repeatedly cancel appointments on the day of the appointment after taking a day off work for an emergency electrical repair.Not even a call but a text you can not reply to informing you they have rescheduled. I booked a Friday appointment and they cancelled with a few hours notice and rescheduled for Monday with out asking if that was acceptable. The best bit is they will try to find you for a missed appointment. Truly terrible. If you can in any way avoid using them ,do so . It would be comical if it wasn't so serious.
I reported two problems with my house…
I reported two problems with my house in December appointments for January with cancelled for February rhen cancelled again until April. An interim appointment was made to do a mold wash however when they came out they said would not help the situation so went away, then turned up again on a day I wasn't there for the mold wash which I was told was no use anyway. Trying to contact today to confirm appointment and have been in queue for 15 minutes then call gets cut off whilst writing thus review I am on my fourth attempt at contact today and this happens each time

Morgan Snidgits are a poor company, this morning (25/03/24) I have already been cut off 3 bloody times while trying to phone, each time it puts me to the back of the queue, why have my local council given them another contract?I would sack ALL the management
Sloppy workmanship
Sloppy workmanship. They installed a fire door closer on our flat without drilling pilot holes - cracking the wood and destroying our door frame.

Lee the electrician came to our property at Eccles Grange Backworth yesterday and I felt it my duty to let MS know what a superb job he did for us…. Cleared up after himself and was polite and extremely helpful

Oven connection was faulity, and they blame it on the oven
I had a repair appointment with them on the 4th of January this year. Was hoping the problem could be fixed with an oven contact, as the kitchen was shutting off after a small circuit when I turned the oven on. Could never use it, so needed urgent work.
2 guys came over, listened to all I explained about the problem, and without any checks told me that the oven was faulty and most probably needed to be checked. They didn't check any cables behind the oven, nor the connection of electricity to the oven, and not even the switches of the kitchen. Just a verbal statement, with no proper checking.
Had the oven repair guy coming over, and telling me that the previous Morgan Sindall guys probably were too lazy to do anything, hence the blame for the oven check.
I hope I never use Morgan Sindall again ever in my property, as that was the worst way to deal with a customer who just needed the wires to be checked and make an adequate connection to the oven.
The most useless company gives me depression..
The most useless company I have ever had the most depressive time be stuck with.
This company does supposedly council repair work.. Reported issue in June.. Now middle of November.
This repair is life threatening to me. Soffit falling above my front door.. Having had open brain surgery. I have a weakened skull. And four bore wholes. I fear walking in and out of my door.
Safe housing is Basildon councils mandate..
It is going to go to the ombudsman very shortly.

Complaint, Morgan sindall plasterers work
I've been waiting quite a few weeks for a plasterer to plaster my walls following work done by Morgan Sindall tradesmen. I had the plasterer come today and supposedly these walls have been plastered by him and ready to paint. Please see image this only allows me to post 1 image so not very helpful. But there is 2m3 different walls

I went to an interview and I was told by Cathryn Cook – Purchase Ledger Supervisor that she hates the country (USA)I am from and the people there and I sent a thank you letter they would not hire me. They lied on how long the interview was and did not have a job description. During the interview Cathryn and Angela talked about staff members. Very unprofessional.
