Came in person to look at my windows before quoting, called me back when I had questions, arrived on time and the window repair itself was great. My sash windows open smoothly, the gaps are gone and the new sills look really good. You can tell they are a family company and have been in business for a long time: they know what they're doing and everything works smoothly. I was very happy with the service.

Well organised back office. Painting job was completed over three separate days which accommodated the wet weather. 2 painters were good and the third one didn’t really put his heart into the job. Whilst the conditions were very wet, some of the paint has bubbles in it and will need re painting in the spring.However, they have offered to come back and touch up the work in the spring.

From the off, Mortice & Green were impressive: professional and knowledgeable. We needed to replace most of the windows in our Edwardian house; we invited 5 companies to quote, after which the decision to choose Mortice & Green was very easy.

Two days before lockdown our works were due to commence, Matt called and we agreed that it made sense to defer the start date. A month later, Matt was back on the phone to check that we were happy for the work to start and reassuring us that the guys on site would be temperature checked each day and have full PPE provided by the company – for their protection and ours. A week later Vaidas and Elliot arrived, suitably masked, shoe-covered and with packs of alcohol wipes to wipe all surfaces they touched. Social distancing clearly made working more tricky, but Vaidas and colleagues were respectful and appropriately friendly throughout.

A special mention for Vaidas for his expert carpentry and attention to detail in the installation. The quality of his workmanship is clear for all to see and it has made a massive difference to the house’s appearance. One of our neighbours has already engaged Mortice & Green after seeing their work at our house.

Our windows replacement did have its challenges, but they were managed by Vaidas on site and Matt in the office. It is easy to write a good review when everything runs smoothly, but when it doesn’t, it is the way the company deals with the hiccups that matters and, in this regard, Mortice & Green could not have performed better.

The result is just fantastic. We have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending Mortice & Green.

I love this company. i have had two new sash windows installed - excellent craftsmanship - and now some repairs to sash windows not installed by them. Great comms, reliable in terms of keeping to appointments and all that, competitive pricing, and very polite and helpful on site. All in all, I couldn;t recommend them more highly.

Mortice and Green carried out extensive work to the windows of the entire house, 5 floors, including 2 sets of interior shutters, one an 8 panel shutter, and exterior doors.

The team were punctual, professional and always left site tidy at the end of the working day. They worked methodically with attention to detail, renovating and overhauling each window, replacing weights, sashes and installing draught proofing where necessary.
