Gave me exactly what they promised as I had described car honestly. Very easy to deal with

Sent photos and full details of car and was offered £300 if they collected. Arranged collection as tax expired but when they arrived battery was flat so they said its a non runner and offer was now £150. I refused their offer as I thought it was just a con to get me to accept less. Don't trust them.

I recently purchase a car from their website ,car was based in bury st Edmunds. The car was described and offside damage and starts and drives.
When I got the car delivered by my recovery guy, it had rear bumper damage and tsuspension damage. Which was not mentioned in the posting. I also noticed that they wrote the damage on the driver side glass when I got the vehicle but the picture that was posted was taken before the writing on the glass. Basically hiding damage known to them.
I queried why post a picture before and hide the photo stating the writing on the glass, no comments from them ,keep referring to their terms and conditions.
So basically they take pictures in a such a way that they hide the worst damage hoping they get more for the cars.

Helpful receptionist, good price for car. Would buy again. After reading reviews was a little nervous to see what I bought and dealing with staff, couldn't praise more. Thank you.

Bought an 2010 transit starts drive clean van paid top end money £3k for it when went to collect engine knocking just sold it for £1600

Although the policies are to be desired the customer service is undoubtedly the worst I've ever experienced in my entire working life.

Customer service!.... what customer service. How A.. got a job there I'll never know. How she got a job at all is questionable.
Staff untrained, rude, oblivious to common sense, obnoxious and far from helpful.

Blocked my emails regarding complaint. Haven't responded and refuse to forward my emails and calls to the relevant manager. Been 2 months now and still no reply.

What a shame they have people like that working for them. Clearly they need to review their recruitment process.

I have bought a vehicle it said it had mot ,when I had all the documents the vehicle was checked and it did not have MOT it had a foreign number plate and I was made to pay £120 cancellation fee .DO NOT BUY FROM THEM THAT IS THE 3RD TIME THEY SCAMMED ME

I AM SO UPSET WITH THIS COMPANY, THEY SEEM TO THINK THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH WHATEVER THEY LIKE

WHILST I WAS AWAITING COLLECTION FOR A VAN I HAD A WINNING BID ON, ONE OF THE STAFF WAS RUDELY TELLING A POLISH GUY THAT SHE HAD GIVEN HIS BROTHER A KEY FOR THE VEHICLE THAT THEY HAD HAD FOR DELIVERY. AFTER GETTING NO WHERE, THE POLISH GUY WALKED OUT, THEN TO MY DISBELIEF THE MEMBER OF STAFF TURNED TO ANOTHER AND SAID, STUPID FOREIGNERS HE WILL NEVER KNOW IF I DID OR DIDN"T AS I CAN'T EVEN REMEMBER MYSELF!!
THE VEHICLE I HAD BID ON WAS ADVERTISED AS "STARTS AND DRIVES", UPON STARTING IT, IT CLEARLY WAS NOT DRIVABLE, THE ENGINE WAS CHOKING AND WAS KNOCKING.
I REFUSED TO TAKE THE VEHICLE AND THEIR SUGGESTION WAS TO PAY £30 SO THAT THEY COULD RE-AUCTION IT AND SELL IT ON TO SOME OTHER UNSUSPECTING BIDDER!
AFTER EMAILING MY CONCERNS ABOUT THEIR CONDUCT, THEY HAVE NOW SUSPENDED MY ACCOUNT AND THREATENED THAT I HAVE TO NOW ARRANGE FOR THE VAN TO BE REMOVED FROM THEIR SIGHT.
TO ANYONE WHO IS THINKING OF BUYING THROUGH MOTORHOG, PLEASE DO NOT!

Just Bough one INSIGNIA 2010 2.0 Tdci " Starts and drive " when i was there to collect: 1.was a taxi car, 2.do nor start, 3. because wanter pump and coolant housing was broken and fitted back in the car again with SUPER GLUE, 4. IF YOU ask for any help NO ONE IS HAPPY TO HELP. after 4 hours waiting outside, because they not let you to wait inside. Has to pay £380,00 to deliver the from DONCASTER to OXFORD. Was my first and last time with MOTORHOG.

For some reason motorhog Doncaster have decided to add £40 admin fee to all cars today, this is days after they were first put on. I have been buying cars from them for over a year, they didn't do this when I first started so how come now? Viewing is a joke you only have 1 day to view cars then they need to have more drivers if you need to be acompanided. Also the other site in Doncaster there is only 1 person allowed on site at a time and if they are viewing a few cars it takes ages and if u are busy like me you don't had have time to wait.
If you want to buy from motorhog, view the cars, never buy blind I did it once and got stung.
All the dealing I have had with motorhog have been a positive and I got a refund on a car that they damaged bringing it to me.

What a joke won vehicle on auction just before Xmas period, was too late for anyone to arrange pick up truck but when tried to ring motorhog Kent all you get is opening hours and accounts number just bleeps so answer phone probably full. Not a good way to run a business and opening times are more like school times. Will definitely not be using them again

I buy an astra club 2005 model from them who was a police disposal. They did not say nothing about oil leaking or about fact they took mirrors covers off. After I bought this vehicle I check full MOT history, and that licking problem was written there. I start the engine, and start liking. How it is possible to say everything is ok about a car and to lie all biders and no one check them ???
They took all the petrol out from the car .

Bought an Astra i beleived it was a cat c right off so i was happy with that until i actually got the vehicle home and decided to check it out myself an to my find the car has had mutliple insurance losses and shown up as stolen i cannot beleive a company can trade in this way if i get nowhere with them in the morning i will be getting office of fair trade to step in as i beleive a company that auction should have to fully disclose of an item includung its history, i beleive the vehicle had a false discription its not a cat c and it has more damage than stated

Agreed to buy a engine they said they would check its still in stock & rang back & said it had gone up £500 they had made a mistake!

So I've bought a couple of cars from motorhog Doncaster, neither was as described in the auction listings and infact id say the descriptions were totally inaccurate........
1st car Audi A3 tdi described as running and driving cat x dealer disposal , yeah right, all fuel sucked out of tank for a start, broken throttle pedal,not mentioned, dents and scratches half car had to be resprayed so deep and to top it all off a knackered gearbox!
LOST ALMOST £900 ON THIS CAR!
2nd car a seat Leon again stated as running and driving, ok so car started but my god engine knocking very loudly /obviously!! When challenged they didn't want to know I asked for a full refund, not given,told tough luck your problem, basically once they've your money they couldn't care less! 3rd car and yes i hoped for a better luck,3rd time lucky and all that!! I bought and went to view, nope no looking until paid, told em to keep the car, as i wasn't willing to pay and be stuck with more of their scrap ....now they've blocked my account! oh well im done with them and advise others Not to Buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been in the motor trade over 25 years and have never dealt with such a poorly run company that have for no regard for there customers whatsoever!!!

The man came on time. We were paid the price quoted from my email. The money was transferred the same day. No complaints here!

Audi quoted me astronomical amount for a multimedia screen for my vehicle Motorhog found me one and fitted for a tenth of the price.

We purchased a vehicle on their online auction knowing their terms which state we have to be happy with the salvage before removing it. When we saw it we were not happy as it was in no way as presented, it had more damage,extra dents,missing parts etc. We wouldn't take it and asked for a refund but they have refused. The disparity is clear but it's like hitting a brick wall they just don't want to accept responsibility. The vehicle should be a scrap vehicle. It's so frustrating and annoying to have something that is so clear be turned down due to a clear company stance on requests for refund. We are taking them to court we have to its false advertising and misrepresentation of goods for sale.

The experience with this company was pretty poor. I had found the part I required, emailed them a question and got a very blunt, ignorant reply. I rang them to order the part after having the quote online of £18.00 + £8.00 delivery, this was just about acceptable, the part brand new from VW is only £30.00 inc VAT. The lady on the phone then told me the delivery had gone up to £18.00 due to the small parcel needing to be sent to Swansea, West Wales. "It costs more to send it to Wales love" was her response. Really. Why is that? I asked, its in the UK and should be standard postage on the mainland. "It's just what the manager says and it has to be sent further". When I told her I wouldn't be going ahead with the purchase and why, she suggested ordering it online and I would get the £10.00 delivery discount. The part had then disappeared from the online inventory. Very unprofessional outfit, even with the great looking website. Beware!

Phoned ( Oldham ) branch last week and asked for a car reg on auction to do all checks before bidding on the actual car was told can't have it if you bid and win and any thing occurs will sort it for u so bought a car with 105k miles done the mot check on the car and car was moted with 298k miles in 2013 so well over 300k by now so phned them back to discuss matter was transferred to 3 different people and the most rudest iv ever come across starts shouting and ignoring every thing I said a then tried to call me a lier ( obviously a hero over the phn thought his dad owned the company ) and then puts the phn down what kind of joke is this so called biggest breakers yard in the country like NO MANNERS, BIGGEST LIARS, AND THE MOST RUDEST PEOPLE IV EVER SPOKEN TO no more buying from the garbage company with no customer service at all... No wonder they got all this negative feedback ...
