After a very frustrating experience with ongoing issues and poor customer service elsewhere relating to my Hymer MLT 570 Crossover, it was a real relief to deal with Travel World.
From the outset, their team were professional, courteous, and genuinely helpful. They took the time to listen properly to the problems I’d been experiencing and approached everything with a clear willingness to resolve the issues — not just patch them up.
The warranty work was carried out to a high standard, and, importantly, communication throughout the process was excellent. I was kept informed at each stage, which made a big difference after previous experiences where this simply didn’t happen.
What stood out most was their attitude — polite, respectful, and proactive. It felt like they actually cared about both the vehicle and the customer, which shouldn’t be rare, but unfortunately often is.
Travel World is the first dealer I’ve dealt with who has restored some confidence in the ownership experience of this motorhome. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others and will happily return in the future.

Turned up at 9am and had a new pump fitted and van cleaned by 11! Whilst there great service from all the staff, especially the receptionist and Rae in Service. Great after sales service which meant we have not had to cancel plans for the following weekend.

My experience with Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld was extremely disappointing and fell well below what I would expect from a major dealer. Communication was consistently poor — emails and calls often went unanswered for days,
Even after withdrawing, it took over a week for my £15,000 holding deposit to be refunded, which is unacceptable for a business of this size. Throughout the process, there was very little proactive communication or transparency.
I would strongly advise potential customers to proceed with caution, ensure all terms are confirmed in writing, and clarify refund timelines before paying any large deposits.
The motorhome home we put a deposit on was subject to viewing. We decided this wasn't the one for us leaving me with no choice but to cancel my order. I notified them 1st thing on Monday morning via a phone call then an email as requested. 7 days later no refund or confirmation.

Right from initial telephone calls, to booking in and to onsite repairs. Excellent is a word that I rarely use, but praise where praise is due. Special thanks to Rae and James for their enthusiasm, care and attention to detail.
The additional cost of the Hymer product seems justified when we receive such an excellent service. Thankyou.

Our existing Hymer dealer has been struggling to even identify / clarify a longstanding DVLA recall issue. Within a very short timescale Rae in service had gone out of her way to enquire via the manufacturer and revert with complete clarity the safety issue which needed attention.
Stark contrast here with a service / aftermarket team who are accessible and responsive.

Today I visited Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld for my motorhome maintenance, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish.
About the Team: A huge thank you to Rae at the reception, who was both kind and patient. It snowed heavily in the city where I live last night, and I endured a grueling three-hour drive through the snow (a route that the sat nav showed should only take 1 hour and 40 minutes). I arrived feeling exhausted, but their warm welcome immediately helped me relax.
Technical Expertise: Special thanks to engineer Steve, whose professional knowledge is incredibly solid. He keenly identified a very hidden safety hazard in the gas piping I had modified myself—something that would be almost impossible to notice in everyday use. He explained the issue to me very clearly and patiently. During this time, he also brought along a young engineer, Frase, to demonstrate the correct use of LPG safety protection equipment on-site, which left a very deep impression on me.
Service Beyond Expectations: They quickly repaired my diesel heater and conducted continuous testing for three hours. Not only that, to ensure my upcoming snow-season trip goes without a hitch, they also proactively performed secondary tests on the electric heating mode and the mixed heating mode. This rigorous and thoughtful service made me feel very much at ease.
Human Touch and Warmth: The entire team was full of energy and very friendly. As I was leaving, everyone was laughing together. I’m not sure if they noticed the little “key protector” joke my wife designed for me—it was actually a finger cot my wife uses for skincare, and putting it on the key did indeed lead to some funny associations. Everyone’s smiles and sincerity were brighter than the sunshine in my home country of Greece; this kind-hearted humor made me feel very warm.
There was also a young man in the shop whose name I don't know, who assisted me with directions when I first arrived; I would like to thank him as well.
It is precisely because of this excellent team that I have developed great trust in this company. Therefore, I have decided that I might buy a larger Hymer from them next year. Highly recommended!

After almost two years of looking we traded in our old Laika for a much newer model, We had the assurance of a full six months warranty. The dealership was brilliant with a full service and the Motorhome faultless in our 6 months of ownership. The sales guy Ian was very attentive and helpful. We have been 100% happy with our purchase and would highly recommend them
