Baser Avis 7

We received our parasol base and sandbags today. We were excited to put it together and assembled the base without adding the pole first. I hadn’t read the instructions! Our fault. It was stuck, so at 7pm I used the chat facility on the website. To my surprise the owner Christian got back to me immediately and sent a video of how to disassemble it. It was so brilliant to have such top class customer service. The base and bags are a great system and it feels good to support a family business too. The help was wonderful when so many big companies don’t care. Highly recommend. (The bags are great too.)

A company that’s one of a kind! Christian (the boss) personally replied to my questions and even sent me videos of the different parasols to answer queries I had! The parasol I went with is ideal, so well made, sturdy and classic, as well as being super flexible so we can move it round the garden! Very happy with what we’ve bought!

I’ve had a Baser parasol base for almost five years now and it’s probably been my favourite garden purchase. It’s quick and easy to set up. It’s keeps the parasol stable in all weather conditions (I’ve accidentally left it out in high winds and it’s been fine). My favourite part of is that it’s so portable - we can move it around the garden easily to suit our needs, whether out on the patio, or our uneven lawn, it remains stable.

I’m genuinely so impressed by the product, and customer service, and would by another in an instant. Buying quality products should be encouraged so that’s why I’m writing this review

Absolutely superb parasol and base system, so very pleased with how it works and looks. So well designed and made, we have been looking for a portable parasol solution for a year in garden and camping centres with no success and then found Mybaser. Really super customer care, Christian answered all the queries we had and more, Fast delivery and packaged very well.

Looking for a parasol for my terrace, I was surprised that the vast majority on sale did not give UV protection - even when you think you are sitting in the shade!. I was impressed that Baser gave clear numbers and references to UV protection benchmarks, so I could be as sure as possible that I was protected. Having had skin cancer this was important for me.
In addition Christian could not have been more helpful with my queries - some of the best customer service I have experienced. Everything arrived well packed and as ordered. I'm very pleased with this.

I initially ordered a Baser parasol base with 2 x 25kg sandbags from Amazon. The sandbags usually come with a separate sturdy plastic bag liner, helping to further increase the life span of the product. In this instance Amazon had not supplied these, so I emailed the Baser company direct, and Christian, (one of the owners) phoned me back directly to resolve the issue. So to the product itself, I have in the past struggled with all different types of parasol base and found all to be wanting in some form or another, each of which is depicted on the Baser website, which when viewed I laughed and thought yep I've done that! I love the fact, that apart from it's very effective design for securely anchoring your parasol, it's much easier to move around the garden than many other bases and also that a wide range of pole diameters can be accommodated in the adjustable stand. The other great thing is that the sandbags can be used for other purposes as well, ie stabilising a foldable picnic table, steadying a portable clothes airer, and at the end of the the day with the sturdy handles on each of the bags means they are easier to move around. Finally, if like me you have limited storage space I like the fact you can easily dismantle the base, empty the sandbags (if you desire) and put it all back in the box at the end of the summer!
