First class full time live in care
Hometouch were very helpful, right from the first phone enquiry. The Care Account team and later the Care Team were friendly and gave good advice. The price structure is transparent. The actual live in carer was excellent. I could not have had a better person looking after my Dad, she was full of kindness and friendship and willing to do anything to help and improve his quality of life. Keeping him at home was so important. I would recommend Hometouch as it is a big decision to get a live in carer.

I was very impressed with the service…
I was very impressed with the service and standard of care which was provided. I usually use another care provider company but could not secure a placement for my mother for live-in care over the Christmas period and discovered Hometouch. They were super efficient and quick to match my requirements with a lovely carer Sofia who provided an excellent level of care to my mother. Very happy with the service provided and would highly recommend.

Home sweet Home
Everything went very well. MD carer, was sensitive to my husband's . Ms needs, his mood swings etc and dealt appropriatelyShe took him out for lunch, tea etc to places I suggested and cooked nice meals which he enjoyed in preference to mine ! .MD also allowed me to video call them daily which was very helpful for someone with Alzheimer’s. M is very fond of MD and says she is very helpful.She also cared for our dog very well and he seemed happy too when I video called.M I appreciates also how MD gave him some emotional space during day. We have had MD 3 times and agency have always been helpful and reassuring. Fees seem reasonable too.

The Best!
This is the second live-in care provider I have used and by far the better of the two. The booking and charging process was totally transparent and the carer provised for the week was excellent! A well travelled, experienced carer who was great company was exactly what I asked for and what I got

Briliant care
We have been using Hometouch for more than two months and are delighted with the care we have received. My mother is confined to a chair but has no cognitive impairment and our current carer has understood her needs perfectly and been a brilliant companion to her. Wendy is a fantastic cook and my mother takes great pleasure in sampling her curries and delicious soups. She also looks after my mother's flat beautifully and everything is always clean and organised. We have recently had a serious scare about my mother's health, and Wendy has been a constant source of invaluable support. She has refused to take her breaks and treats my mother with unstinting kindness and love. A big thank you to the whole team at HomeTouch but especially to Wendy.

Hometouch Carer for someone with Dementia
Hometouch have been looking after my father who has dementia and other conditions including some challenging behaviour.
Hometouch have provided professional and hard working live in carers. They have supported him to stay in his own home, helped him to do the things that are important to him and treat him with dignity and respect. His main carer is now part of the family and we are so grateful for her kindness and patience at a time that has been very challenging for us as a family and for my father.

I’d recently sought care for my Mother
I’d recently sought care for my Mother, I spoke to 4 different care companies & wasn’t impressed by any of them , no questions asked about my Mother, her likes , dislikes , her personality, nothing! Then I called Honetouch, wow! What a difference! I spoke to Tomas, several times, he showed true compassion & understanding. He asked me lots of questions about my Mother in order that he could match the right carer to her. We were then sent the information on several different carers, with full details of their interests, qualifications & personality. We chose a lovely lady called Sybel. She came round to meet us & my Mother instantly warmed to her. Unfortunately the next day, my Mother was adamant that she didn’t want a carer after all . So at very short notice I had to cancel the contract. Hometouch could of rightly charged us for a weeks care but they only charged 1days care & that came with a promise of being there in the future & I would most definitely go back to them 🤩

Care provided was exactly as required
The care provided was of a high standard. I appreciate the team's efforts throughout the contracted period to ensure continuity of care.
Anything that needed addressing was rectified within a reasonable time frame (through our collective efforts) and nothing impacted the standard of care being provided. All relatives are appreciative, thanks to the members of the team who were involved.

Excellent support during mums final year
I have recently used Hometouch to support and care for my 94 year old mother. All of the carers that have looked after Mum in her final year have been excellent - kind, caring, compassionate and experienced. When things changed from general care to end of life the Hometouch account management team were extremely supportive in changing the care arrangements and helped me find an incredible carer (Penny) with end of life experience who has supported us both through this challenging period right until the end - which was managed professionally, calmly and respectfully. Thank you to the whole team - in particularly Penny - your support has made the end of mums life a very well managed, calm and dignified experience.

I have used carers from MyHomeTouch for seven years now!
I have used carers from MyHomeTouch for seven years now, caring for three different relatives over this period. We have loved each one of the carers who have provided exceptional support, and we have found communicating with our care account manager easy, by either email and phone, to make arrangements when carers needed a holiday, a relative went into hospital, or other issues arose. MyHomeTouch represented good value for money compared to other agencies I considered.

Great care for someone with mental health issues
My brother needed live-in care as he suffers from mental health issues and was not able to look after himself. All the staff Hometouch sent were understanding and considerate of his needs. I didn’t worry if his current carer took time off for holidays as I knew they would always find a suitable replacement. It was a huge relief to know that someone was looking after him 24/7. I would definitely recommend Hometouch, especially if you need a carer for someone with complex issues.

My permanent carer went on leave during December/ January period back to South Africa . This was my first experience with Hometouch ! I had a bad experience with the carer they sent me .
The carer they gave me was was totally inexperienced in Live in Caring , it was her first live in caring job.
She was no companion to me , continually on her mobile phone , until I comlained to her .
Her dress was sloppy and untidy , never offered to help me .She was unable to hold a conversation with me and therefore no companion . She did the bare minimim around the house .
She was supposed to take my dog for a daily walk , which she failed to do .
Work wise ,she did the bare minimim and never offerd to do anything extra , not even book my doctors appointments .
Hometouch responded to my complaints but always sided with their carer . She was never properly trained in Live in Caring by Hometouch . I would never reccomend Hometouch to anyone looking for a carer .

I have just used Hometouch for the first time to allow me to have a break away from caring from my husband who has Dementia.
I found the whole process easy and supportive, while not inundating or intrusive.
The carer was well matched with my husband.
I would definitely use Hometouch again and recommend them to others.

I have worked with hometouch since 2018…
I have worked with hometouch since 2018 though I had lost my client to care home. It wasn't hometouch's fault it was between staff who couldn't cover the client until the family decided to take them to home care.l do recommend my hometouch to people because I have never had a problem with them. They're are supportive if you need a cover they help a. To my company the only thing which I can say is to access or ask deep about the clients we look after. Some clients are heavier than their package which makes staff leave if they can solve that issue that will be great. Thank you..

Worst for Carers. Bottom line.
In over five years of working as a live-in carer, I have never worked with such an agency: underpaid, overworked, zero support, altogether a thoroughly distasteful experience.
Eg standard is 45p per mile. They give you 40p. Once you've signed on the dotted line, you're on your own, Jack.
No thanks. Never again.
Update: Following your latest response, let me elaborate a little.
Firstly, yes, I have used my friend's email as I did not want to be victimised, nor jeopardise my friend's placement which she will be completing soon.
I find it strange that my review has been met with rebuttal and denial, instead of concern.
To confirm:
I definitely have the right company - My Home Touch. I definitely worked through your agency.
I definitely only received 40p per mile (instead of the usual 45p pm)
I hope you do care to take the time to listen to complaints so that you may understand why so many carers are leaving My Home Touch for other introductory agents that offer, for example:
- Working wages
- MAR sheets
- Medication details
- Complete care plans
- Support and follow-up
