Amazing company!

We use Hometouch often when we need to source a live in carer for our clients at Enable Ltd. They are an excellent company who put their clients' needs first. It is a pleasure to work so closely with Daniel as he is always very helpful and super friendly!

We have been using Hometouch to look after our 94 year old mother full time

We have been using Hometouch to look after our frail 94 year old mother 24/7 for the last 6 months. Every single carer has been conscientious, caring, gentle and thoughtful in all their dealings with mum and we are very impressed and feel safe in the knowledge that mum is being cared for at least as well as we would ourselves.
The staff at Hometouch who manage mum's care are also helpful and interested.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this agency.

Useful and reasonably priced service

I was recommended HomeTouch by a friend when my mother had a fall and I needed a carer at short notice for a few weeks. I was worried about using any kind of agency as I thought it would be really expensive, but this is really more of a portal where you can contact carers with availability directly. We shortlisted a few options based on their closeness to our house and their bio, and managed to book someone great for the shifts we needed straight away.

Hometouch have been a god send

Hometouch have been a god send for my mother and I. Following hospital discharge and a deterioration in my mum’s illness I spent hours searching the Internet for the most appropriate live-in care agency. I can safely say I did extensive research and relied heavily on these reviews. Since then mum has had Hometouch’s carer Liz in for approaching a month now and I can safely say she is perfect! Not only is she an angel and highly qualified to handle every situation thrown at her (and there have been many since discharge), but the agency themselves have been exceptional. From start to finish there has been clear and regular communication, support and transparency. Since starting with Hometouch my mum has never felt safer. With the care we received from Hometouch you truly get the personal relationship. Liz feels like an extension of the family, but with the utmost professionalism and experience. If you are unsure or scared about the prospect of who should support your loved one, I would recommend you try Hometouch out. You will feel supported from the carer, to back office online care notes system and supervisors.

It was late in the day when I rang…

It was late in the day when I rang Hometouch. I had been looking for a carer for a few weeks now with different agencies. Daniel answered the phone and took on board all my requirements. The whole system worked efficiently and speedily. Soon I was talking to a prospective carer who I immediately felt was the right person for live-in care for my 92 year old Mother. I have since been proved correct. Steph, a qualified community nurse, assessed both my Mum and her property and made excellent detailed care plans including all medications and time for them to be administered. Hometouch provide an excellent app on my mobile where I can see all the relevant notes written by Julia about how my Mother is doing. We are only in the first week but a breath of fresh air to find a company so well run, and charming staff. Thank you Hometouch! I am sure after a few weeks I will be giving 5 stars for Excellent!

Feeling at Home with Hometouch.

We have been using Hometouch for a month now and Daniel, our co-ordinator, has been so helpful and attentive making sure we get the Carers' contracts and timetables arranged. As this is our first experience of using / needing an Agency and live-in Carer, he has gone out of his way to be extra supportive to us and guided us through the stages and steps we need to take. In practical terms, it was great to have a potential 127 Carers (of different price range and experience) to chose from for our postcode and care requirements. It was also super-simple to make the payments when they became due.
So far so (very) good!

Professional and prompt when dealing…

Professional and prompt when dealing with me. The carer is committed, compassionate and looks after my mum like she is her own. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this way of being in control of who you invite into a loved ones home. So much better than the "pot luck" and poor quality of carers via a large impersonal full time care provider.

A good care finding platform and organisation

A very good care provider / needer matching platform that allows the Carer to retain a higher percentage of the payment than many other organisations. Provide a very good service when you have a good Account Manager such as Dan. Able to provide emergency profiles for consideration within 24 hours which is very reassuring. When calling the main contact number messages are not always returned or passed on, but with a good Account Manager responses and follow up have been good.

A better way of home care.

I have used Home Touch for about 12 months now. Originally as live in care for both my parents and now just for my mum. I chose them over other companies because I could choose the carers myself from a long list of people, so I could look for the right fit for our situation. I also like the fact that the carer gets to choose as well, so they are able to discuss the post directly with myself before agreeing to start. This helps make sure of a good fit. One of the main reasons was the fact that the carer receives most of the money for the work they do so are more likely to do a better job. All these things plus the back up of helpful office staff if there is an issue or I just need advice, means that my life is very much easier and less stressful and my mum is happy and well cared for.
The idea of a live in carer is not widely known about in my area and councils seem to dislike the idea, but it enables my mum to stay at home where she knows where she is and so is able to keep that little bit of herself she still has. Thank you.

Great quality service

I found the process of finding, selecting and contacting the carers very easy and reliable.
The carers were very well qualified and diligent in the help and assistance they provided. Their help was warm and comforting in a difficult time of transition.

Excellent service - used three times and will continue to use them

I have used Home Touch on three separate occasions now to help look after my mum in my home. She has dementia. I have found the booking system easy to use and the service is excellent. Each time i have had the lovely Claudia to help me: so nice to have one consistent person, although my mum wouldn't remember it is much easier for me. Claudia has been so gentle and patient and the occupational therapy she does with my mum mean that mum has a lovely holiday with me when she comes to stay. I am very happy to recommend Home Touch and will continue to use them.

Hometouch- caring carers

I researched carers from different companies but hometouch were the best for my Dad’s needs. We have a really kind and professional carer from hometouch with whom Dad really likes
Any questions I’ve needed to ask have been dealt with efficiently. I would recommend this company

Through Hometouch we found a really excellent carer for our 91-year old father. From the first day he came it all worked perfectly, doing just as we'd hoped and more. An excellent service thankyou.

Stress and Anxiety Free Arrangements - Highly Recommended.

I found this young company on line whilst searching for replacements for our elderly relations current carers. Right from the off they were courteous, kind and understanding and helpful in our search for a new carer. One of our relatives has Altzeimers and his partner has mobility issues, both are well into their eighties but wish to remain in their own home with the aid of live-in care. HT searched for carer to match our relatives requirements and found a person they thought suitable in a very short space of time. They then arranged for me to speak to him and followed that up by another enquiry.
Terms were agreed and they then made the appropriate arrangements for him to arrive in time to take over. It was a seamless transition taking the stress and anxiety away from our relatives. The carer arrived as scheduled and has now been working with them for a week. They are very pleased and with us would like to thank Home Touch for their efforts from the outset up until the present time. Their innovative web site is easy to use detailing personal details of current and future carers as well as the contract and collecting fees.

A good but limited experience

A good but limited experience

I almost used HomeTouch but in the end a more logical alternative was available. However, I went through several weeks of preparing to use HomeTouch, identifying requirements and suitable carers etc. and throughout I found them to be helpful, organised and highly efficient. I cannot comment on the key issue of the quality of the care itself.

Carers great, software a nightmare.

All the carers we had were great, and the staff on the end of the phone helpful, but the software was dreadful. For a long time it was impossible to get an accurate picture of what was being charged and all the days were wrong. I don't know if that was a staffing issue or a computer glitch but it was just awful. I have spent hours correcting things I was over charged for. I believe it's all now resolved and Sharon has been very helpful in this.
Aside from that Remy and Mercy were great, I can't say anything about Anastasia as she vanished the day after she started .
Overall, minus the finances / software it was good for my mum to have such good care.

Having investigated this thoroughly we believe the underlying problem was accessing our service from a US time zone (New York) which meant that your browser's default calendar were set to a different time from the UK. Excellent easy to use service

As an independent contractor, I have taken both hourly and live in bookings, I have found the platform easy to use, and get payment for bookings promptly. Not all my work comes from this one source, however it is my preferred agency.
