High quality home care co that cares

Hometouch has been a god send, I would recommend them wholeheartedly. The company has provided me with the peace of mind that my mother is in good, safe hands whilst I am at work. They provide me with regular, relevant updates so I don't need to worry. Carers have been very professional, empathetic and kind. I was hesitant about using an online platform but whole experience has been fantastic - the only thing I regret is not using hometouch sooner.

I have found the flexibility of …

I have found the flexibility of Hometouch and the communication excellent.
I had so many problems with care companies being totally inflexible and wanting to take over my mother's care completely, giving me very few options, so I'm delighted to have the freedom to choose the carers and type of care. It's also good that more money goes to the carers than it does with standard care companies.
My only reservation is that the Hometouch team weren't able to find me carers when I needed someone quickly and I found the carers myself on the website but in general I'm very happy with my experience with Hometouch.

A transormational moment

The complexity of finding care support can be overwhelming. This site saved me and gave me easy access to responsibly vetted professionals working in my locale. They worked flexibly to suit my needs. Using this site absolutely transformed my situation. I can't rate it highly enough.

I'm so happy I've found this company

I'm so happy I've found this company. A brilliant concept and from my experience one that works. Staff in the office are very helpful and guide you through the process. We found a wonderful carer who is perfect in every way. He is kind, thoughtful and caring. He's genuinely interested in my parents and really makes a difference. It's great that you can select your own carer but the staff can shortlist some for you if you require. It's reassuring to know that Hometouch have a rigorous process of vetting potential carers before they are put on their platform. The booking and payment process is simple but you can always call on the office to help. We also receive calls from Hometouch to check all is ok. I cannot recommend Hometouch enough, they've been a lifesaver!

A great agency with a novel approach to home care

Really happy with the service I've received so far with Home Touch. Easy to use website to search for carers and arrange contracts. Home Touch staff always on hand to help if needed. I'd been using Helping Hands agency to care for my mum for over a year but was let down at the last minute and was desperate to find a carer.
I contacted as many agencies as I could find online and Joshua at Home Touch was the first to respond and had arranged two carers to alternate, within 48 hours, which was greatly appreciated and a huge relief.
I've generally been happy with all the carers we've used through this agency, although a couple maybe didn't quite fit with my mum personality wise. Lindsey in the office was quick to resolve any issues though and really helped in finding other carers.
Overall a great agency with a novel approach to home care. Highly recommended.

Bulls Eye first time

HomeTouch was our first experience of using a care-agency, and we did not know what to expect. I had approached 18 of their carers, of whom 12 were available to be interviewed, but the first one we met turned out exactly right, and she was able to start next morning. Clearly HomeTouch can afford to be selective - to our great advantage.

First class carer and support.

I booked a carer (now known in the family as 'Catherine the great') for my husband who has a rare dementia. She came regularly from mid 2015 until he was too difficult to manage at home and moved in to a care home full time in January 2017.

I have found the website easy to use, when the original carer I selected wasn't available, Catherine was suggested and proved to be ideal. Everyone was helpful when I needed to set up 'direct payments' from Social Services and communication has always been excellent. I thoroughly recommend Home Touch to anyone requiring a carer.

I have received prompt, transparent and quality service from the HomeTouch team. Their website is very easy to use and gave me confidence when finding and engaging a carer. Their follow-up were timely and they kept me informed about every action.

Great concept

I am very impressed with the concept of home touch. Unfortunately, so far, home touch has not yet been able to find a career to fit my particular circumstances. Hopefully they will be able to.
From a practical standpoint, it would be useful for the contracts to be flexible enough in terms of their format to allow for different rates on different days e.g. Normal days vs bank holiday
The representatives are all pleasant and helpful.

After several years of looking for the …

After several years of looking for the right carers for my father, without success, I am so relieved to have found Home Touch. The lady who is staying with Dad at the moment has been a great companion and Dad is completely relaxed in her company and we are hoping to see her again in June.

Take the leap!

I first read about HomeTouch through an article in the Telegraph. At that stage I was not ready to hire a carer, but I filed the contact details away. Making the decision that you need help is the hardest decision but once you do make contact life becomes easy. I was particularly impressed that someone contacts you by email and by phone to help and provide some human contact within 24 hours. Reviewing the profiles of potential carers is very straightforward but hiring someone is a process and it is still helpful to meet potential carers before you hire. It's an interesting process because what I thought I wanted initially is not what I ended up with! My advice would be to stay flexible through the hiring process. Once you have found the right person the whole admin process is really straightforward. I would recommend Home Touch to anyone looking for help with a loved one.

Exceptional Service

I have been both relieved & surprised to have found such an honest, organised & friendly service. Their integrity has shown itself not just in the candidates i have met, but also in the hands on, personal manner in which they have corresponded. I have also found their pragmatic, non corporate approach extremely beneficial.

I can not rate this company highly enough.

Amazing Service

I have been using Home Touch for 6 months
They provide an excellent service .
Their carers are highly professional and caring
I feel like a weight has been taken off my shoulders for a few hours s day .. my mother has late stage Alzheimer's and can be difficult!!
But Jane Swindle (My Angel) Takes over and I can breathe !!
It's alwYs a pleasure to when I need to speak to the guys in the office .. whether it's a problem .. advice .. it never Takes more than a minute to resolve ..
I have no hesitation in recommending HomeTouch to any potential clients

Home Touch: Impossible webpage/ zero communication

We've found a carer who seems ideal for our family needs - great. BUT the messaging service doesn't work properly, and given the generally poor standard of the IT set up, I sent a message (or tried to) to say can I please arrange to pay in some other way. I have received no answer, just automatic messages saying 'how can we improve our website'. It could be a good service, but not like this.

The messaging system provides our clients with the ability to directly contact the carers that meet their individual needs and preferences. It is very important to us that we continue to make improvements - based on your feedback and that of the other families that use our service. Having said this, we note that you have managed to send 23 messages between yourself and your carer following your signup date several days ago and this allowed you to arrange a meeting and negotiate a contract. It is worth noting that although imperfect, the messaging system processes tens of thousands of enquiries each year and this is the first complaint of this type stating that it is "impossible".

Our records also indicate your payment query was responded to by phone and email (both sent and delivered) on two separate occasions within several hours. We understand you have managed to speak by phone to our client services team on two separate occasions where we endeavoured to resolve this matter for you. It would be important to highlight that this differs with your comment that we offer "zero communication", a comment that is also at odds with the 52 other reviews on our TrustPilot page.

We are very glad to see that following our discussion you were able to exchange messages with your chosen carer, who replied to your initial contact within an hour, and that you will be starting with them this Saturday.

Please do let us know how the first day goes and if you have any questions or concerns please do get in touch and we would be more than happy to discuss. Alternatively, we'd ask you to consider whether we are the right service for you. Ultimately we don't want our customers to be unhappy or dissatisfied and we also accept that our model of care does not suit everyone. There are many other options available which may be worth considering if this is the case.

Excellent Carer Service

Best choice I made to give once a week carer service for my mom. Rita takes
my mom out, to the doctors, shopping or just doing things around the house. She's caring and considerate and a bright cheery person.
I can contact Hometouch if I have any concerns and everyone in the office is helpful and understanding.

Very pleased so far!

Recently contacted HomeTouch, found the office staff exceptionally friendly and helpful, the system works efficiently, currently employing two carers who were found very quickly. One is absolutely excellent, the other is getting there with a bit of chivvying.
