They Scammed You Too, Ehh?

If you’re reading this review, you're probably in the same boat as us. I keep getting charged without authorization, won’t honor subscription cancellation requests through email, and in spite of what their FAQ tells you, there’s no way to cancel through your account management page. They’ve already had to change thier name from Glowup because the brand is so toxic. I’m sure they’ll be changing the name from Laughland to something else before too long, which is not good for a six year-old company. Some websites list their headquarters in Berkley or even the U.A.E. (nothing shady about that🙄) but I think I saw a storefront office in Venice a couple months ago. I may pay them a visit.

Oh- also, their product sucks.

SCAM

SCAM! The business phone is out of service, they do not respond via email regardless of how many times you try to email and then continue to charge you.

Tricky business practices

Hurt my teeth. Made them so sensitive. Horrible service and tricky business practices making it very difficult to cancel autoship so they can suck every last dime out of you.

Absolute WORST COMPANY

Absolute WORST COMPANY, SERVICE, EMPLOYEES (Nishanthini to be exact,) and the most ultimate scam ever!! If you want to keep getting money taken from you on and on again, good luck trying to stop them! Unlawful & continuously rude people. This company is absolutely HORRIBLE!! Stay away!!!!

Will auto renew without consent

Just like the other reviews for mylaughland…very deceptive and unethical business. They do not allow you to cancel your payment method. I had to close my bank account for fraudulent charges. Even if you don’t sign up for a subscription they will continue to charge you. To cap it all off….the product doesn’t really work. Maybe a little but nothing more than what you can get at a lower cost over the counter.

Unexpected Subscription Charge and Poor Cancellation Experience

I had a very disappointing experience with Laughland. I signed up for what was presented as a free trial, but it was automatically turned into a subscription with a refill order processed before I was able to cancel. There was no clear or easy way to manage or cancel the subscription online, which was extremely frustrating. The first product I tried caused significant discomfort, so I decided not to continue. When I contacted customer support to cancel, they initially refused to cancel the order or issue a refund and instead tried to push discounts and future refills. Only after insisting multiple times did they finally cancel the subscription, but the charge for the refill was not refunded. This experience felt misleading and stressful, especially for something related to dental health. I would strongly recommend reading the fine print and being very cautious before signing up, as canceling is not straightforward and refunds are not customer-friendly.

I signed up for a trial with Laughland…

I signed up for a trial with Laughland Sciences Inc. and made sure NOT to select any recurring subscription. I never received any confirmation emails about a subscription, yet I was billed today for a recurring charge without my consent. When I tried to log into their portal to cancel, there was no option to cancel subscriptions or orders—despite their claim that you can cancel anytime. You also cannot remove your payment information from their system. This feels deceptive and unethical. I want my subscription canceled, a full refund, and all my stored information deleted. Very disappointed and would not recommend this company.

This company feels misleading and dishonest

They offer a “free kit” trial where you only pay $3 for shipping, but what they don’t make clear is that they automatically set you up on a monthly subscription. You cannot cancel the subscription yourself, and your card information is saved with no option to remove it.

I emailed them multiple times requesting to cancel, and instead of cancelling, they kept trying to stall me by offering discounts on future subscriptions. They never actually processed the cancellation.

They also refused to cancel a subscription order that hadn’t even shipped yet — it’s been over a week with no tracking, but they still told me it was “too late” to cancel. On top of that, they do not accept returns for subscription orders, even though their website claims they offer free returns if the product is unused.

Overall, this company feels misleading and dishonest. I strongly regret giving them my card information. I would not recommend Laughland to anyone.

Customer service sucks

Customer service sucks, I reached out to cancel the order and they said order is shipped. I reached 10 minutes after the order was placed and the fact they shipped in 10 minutes is unbelievable. Then I asked for tracking number and they did not have one. After weeks of waiting I reached out again stating I have not received the package and they offer me 50% discount, I am not sure if it's some kind of joke. Stay away from this company

Unauthorized subscription charges after cancellation

My subscription portal on Laughland’s website showed no active subscriptions (which I should’ve known was a huge red flag) so I reached out to customer service via email on April 30th to make sure my subscription was cancelled. I received written confirmation that it was cancelled, yet I was charged on June 12th for a refill that I did not authorize. When I emailed customer service (got the same agent as I did in April), they refused to refund me. Each time I replied they wrote a boilerplate response that they cancelled my subscription account as if it were the first time. But it was same account that was cancelled back in April. I only had the one account. After I said I’d file a dispute with my credit card they offered a 50% refund but it’s unacceptable. I can’t believe they’re doing business like this. It feels so shady to me. Definitely a “buyer beware” situation. At this point I’m afraid I might have to cancel my credit card to trust that any future unauthorized charges are stopped.
