Left out of pocket due to poorly executed service and unprofessional attitude
I wish I had visited Trustpilot before using this company. After the suit I rented a suit for four days for a family wedding didn’t arrive, I ended up in financial dispute which I had to resolve via my credit card provider.
I had ordered the suit to arrive over 24 hours before we were due to travel. I received a message from DPD the morning that the suit should have arrived to say that delivery would be delayed by at least 24 hours. When I reached out to MyWardrobe HQ, Rita replied to say that it was out of the control of the company and that they had experienced issues with DPD in the past.
Bearing in mind that the USP of MWHQ is the short-term rental of designer items for specific occasions, it is appalling that the company immediately denies liability when the item doesn't arrive. Rita did, however, confirm that I would receive a full refund.
After buying an expensive outfit in a panic the day before my brother’s wedding, which is exactly what I hoped to avoid by looking for a sustainable rental solution, and returning the unworn suit (untouched in the packaging)
MWHQ issued only a partial refund. It retained the DPD fees and a “restock” fee which the website states is a fee levied where a customer decides at their discretion not to wear an outfit. I followed up twice to request the full refund I was promised and to suggest that MWHQ recovered the postage fee from DPD, as it didn’t deliver the service promised. Rita twice replied to refuse the full refund that she had previously confirmed I would receive. I eventually had to resort to raising a dispute with my credit card company.
I was offered a £10 credit but nothing could induce me to use this service again nor recommend it. The entire experience was incredibly stressful and I ended up out of pocket through both the fees the company retained and the last-minute expensive purchase I had no choice but to make. The concept of occasion-wear rental is a great concept but is incredibly poorly executed by MWHQ, which feels unprofessional, greedy and amateurish. Unfortunately, it gives the sustainability a bad name.
Stressful and disappointing experience
I have found purchasing an item from my wardrobe very distressing. The item arrived in dreadful condition with torn beading on the shoulders, pulled threads and stains on the silk fabric. It was not wearable. At a cost of £200 for a simple design that was ridiculous. I didn't try it on I returned it. A few days passed and the item was recorded by the courier as received. I waited, no word from my wardrobe. After 5 days I enquired yes it had been received and I would be refunded. I am still waiting and a week after returning the item I have not had an email detailing my refund. I will never again do business with My Wardrobe.

Arranged with customer services for dress to be delivered a few days after I bought it but it was delivered 2 days early and left outside though fortunately brought in by family.
I expected the dress to have some signs of wear but disappointed that there were a few stains and some of the embroidery was shearing away so I had to do some mending . In all I think I paid double what it was worth bearing in mind age and condition

I bought a dress that I loved but a few days later, they canceled my order saying it was already sold. The website should not allow two people to buy the same dress. I had to go scrambling for another dress.

Dress Rental
Asked to rent a dress online but it wasn’t available, however, the team helped me pick out a newer one at a discounted price and I cannot rate the service any better. I highly recommend the service and will definitely be returning myself!

Perfect rental service with incredible prices!
I bought some dress shoes and rented a gorgeous blazer for a formal event at late notice and I couldn’t have asked for better. Initially, the staff in their harrods store were incredibly helpful when providing details about the service and how to go about renting online. Furthermore, the prices are incredibly reasonable with the items arriving quickly and in perfect condition. I would highly recommend to anyone in need of a special outfit for a special night!

Disgusting - dress arrived stained & damaged
I purchased a dress for £785, no mention of any faults etc. in the description. I asked the customer service if the dress will be professionally cleaned and they confirmed this (+ that they are supposedly checking every item). The dress arrived in a HORRIBLE condition: dark big stains (on a white dress), damaged fabric, embellishments coming apart.

I really couldn't recommend Natalia, Bella and the team higher.
Looking forward to using them again and again now that going out is back.
