Paediatric First Aid course
Gwion came in to do our Paediatric First Aid Training and he was brilliant! Very knowledgeable, lots of personal anecdotes, pitched the pace accurately given that this was a refresher course, but also stopped to check everyone understood and asked about own experiences too, which made it more interactive. Learnt lots of new things and came away feeling ready for any situation! Thanks, Gwion, for making the 2 days so interesting :)

Great training!
The training was great, Jason was very knowledgable and understanding of our own experiences and knowledge of first aid, which created a mutual atmosphere of respect. He kept the training moving at a good pace, and constantly checked if we were all happy with each section before moving on. He’s practical demonstrations were precise and easy to follow. Jason took the time to explain things further if anyone needed a little more time or support. If there were any misunderstandings during the practical elements Jason was aware and stepped in when needed to ensure everyone got the movements correct.
A great two days course. Thank you.

We have had Nick & his team from NDA…
We have had Nick & his team from NDA for many years at the school for varies of training courses & we’ve just had Tricia doing our shallow water refresher. Again it was delivered amazingly & we were talked through everything at everyone’s pace & understanding. We completed our pool side training with Tricia showing us what we needed to do in case of emergencies, bit by bit, making sure we knew what to do. It was very thorough & a great refresher.

AMAZING, POSITIVE EXPERIENCE
Amazing display of detail and practical work explaining to our school children at our event at Maidenhead United FC. Stuart was incredible with all the children and staff - he gave them the best experience and demonstrations that I'm sure they will all remember - one child has told her mum and has asked to practice on her :)

I had a wonderful experience of training with Gwoin on the Mental Health first aid course. I was able to recall a lot that was taught through this technique and will now be able to apply this in different life cases.

First aid course at Ruislip Gardens primary school
The course was incredibly enjoyable for me. Gwion, our instructor, had a good teaching approach that I enjoyed since he made the material we learned much more fascinating and engaging. To convey his point, he gave some excellent instances. The team building activities were excellent since they sparked insightful debates.

I had training with Gwion at Oxford High School today. He is extremely knowledgeable and answers any questions immediately and always asks if we were satisfied with the answer.

Great learning experience
Gwion our instructor was a real character - very well presented, informative made the presentation to be well understanding and pleasant bringing in variable examples.

I really enjoyed the course. I liked the teaching style of Gwion our instructor because he made the information received much more engaging and interesting. He used very good examples to get the message across. The team exercises were great because they led to some good discussions.

Great experience
Stuart was very welcoming and made me feel at ease from the minute I met him.
He made it clear that if anyone needed to leave the room for personal reasons relating to any of the injuries covered then this would be ok. I was grateful to hear as my Mum passed away last year.
Lots of information to absorb but Stuart was a really brilliant teacher.

Ups and Downs
The adaptations to the traditional way of doing first aid were very useful like of person is to tall wide abdominal thrusts from the front ask them to kneel etc. The why we do the things we do in CPR was also helpful and let you understand why you give breaths and the compressions what the mechanics of that is for. I have not given 5 stars as the language of the tutor was a bit on the unsavoury side which is not expected in the organisation I work in and let the trainer down. He was ex services so I suppose the way he always speaks but it was the first time I had experienced that in a work placed training session. He also constantly criticised St Johns which was again not necessary and unprofessional. Overall I was grateful for the training you always learn something new and gain more confidence to act in an emergency if needed

Thank you for your honest review and glad you enjoyed most elements of the course. I have spoken to the trainer and he has apologised for any language that may of been distasteful. He shall take this on board and be more conscious in the future.
We as a company aim to be as professional as possible and do not criticise other companies, the trainer stated some learners mentioned they learnt x y z in the past which was incorrect and therefore as his role as a professional trainer he corrected this stating it was wrong. I do not the ins and out as I was not there.
We shall monitor things and ensure everything you mentioned is rectified.
