Appalling run-around. Paid my first deposit online via After Pay. Noel Leeming's online support told me to go in-store to get my price match sorted against an Auckland online supplier (Dreame).... Voir plus

Nothing wrong with the Samsung fridge, but ...
Nothing wrong with the Samsung fridge that Noel Leeming delivered. However, the delivery guys backed their truck into my fence causing damage. No fewer than FIVE visits to the store in Paraparamumu has resulted in broken promises to fix and a final written warning from me. They have 14 days to fix the issue, or I'll be heading down to the legal route and taking them to court.
It's totally amazing that they refuse to fix an issue they caused. It's just bad form. The staff, however, were sympathetic, and I accept that accidents do happen. They just need to take action and FIX IT.
The first rule of business whenever there's a problem is to FIX THE CUSTOMER - Noel Leeming could do a lot better in this regard.
Very helpful young man
Honestly clowns
Honestly clowns. Tried to place an order over the phone, happy to give details for payment and everything, told I couldnt without an account. Asked to get the item delivered to the store nearest to me, they also could not do this. Guess you dont want money, sweet as.
Waiting for service that wasn't going to happen
Rang to get TV put onto wall on bracket I purchased from Noel Leeming and was told maybe not before Xmas but hopefully between Xmas and New Year. Was told cost would be $399. Waited until about 21 January - no communnication so I rang and was told I hadnt paid the account for the job. I didnt get an account. I assumed when the serviceman called I would pay him on the job. DONT EXPECT ANYONE TO PAY FOR AN ACCOUNT THEY DIDNT RECEIVE. $399 to hang a TV on the wall - NO THANKS
The big Flick
Wow. "We'll match competitors Deal" Yea, No!! You need to pay for delivery, 20 plus years demolished, Arrogance personified. Went to said competitor what a refreshing scenario. The Big tick more like The Big Flick. Another customer Lost. Should have read the reviews 20 years ago!!
Obviously didn’t like the look of a…
Obviously didn’t like the look of a grey head lady with tattoos and a Mohawk pranced about the store while staff glanced sideways n found something to look too busy to help. Had money to spend on security cameras guess who is not going to get me in the door again .
Taupō store
Taupō store - rude asf customer service. Do not greet you as u walk in nor when you pay at the counter. Not a single word was spoken to me while I was paying for an item, even after I said thank you. Awful service.
TECH Help Appalling
Went to Noel Leeming - Sylvia Park this morning. The service was appalling. I really wondeed if the Tech Help really wanted to be there. Be off to Harvey Norman if the customer service does not improve.
Returned faulty iPad to Napier store
Returned faulty iPad to Napier store. 2.5 years old and out of manufacturers warranty. Claimed under the Consumers Guarantee Act. Very positive response from manager of store. iPad replaced within 2 weeks at no charge. (Contrast with Apple who insisted on $1134 upfront to repair…)
I purchased Dyson vacuum cleaner from…
I purchased Dyson vacuum cleaner from NL in St Lukes August 2023, with a 2 year warranty.
At first I got about 8 minutes use out of the machine, on one full charge- not great- but was OK for me as we live in a small apartment. Lately, I have only got 1 minute to 30 seconds use on a charge! Useless.
So today we returned it. Warranty still applicable. Repairs was offered as an option- may take 1 to 2 weeks they say.
How do I clean my home in the meantime? No loan vacuum cleaner available. No money back option. No replacement option.
So: a vacuum cleaner was paid for. Now I can't use it. Won't be able to clean my carpets till the machine is repaired. Great customer service? I think not.
Getting sued has not changed their behaviour
Looks like Noel leeming haven’t changed since they got sued $200,000 for misleading customers and going against the CGA
I was almost denied a promotion with a product in store due to the lack of knowledge of the staff and took 40 minutes and pointing out of the written information on their website to finally receive it.
Then when the product was faulty I was told they were too busy and come back another day.
This was followed by confirming the fault in store and fobbing me off saying they needed to reconfirm with the manufacturer… and was lied to about when it would be sent off. Said it would be sent off Monday and still hasn’t been to this day (Friday)
Still waiting for the issue to be resolved… absolute disgrace
Don't buy from these guys !!
Two tries to deal with this organisation and both times ended in a fiasco, do not buy from these guys as their promises regarding delivery, installation are complete rubbish and change, having taken time off work to meet their installation, they change that, not once but twice ... a joke and customer service if I could would rate a negative star!!!
Noel Leeming Westgate
Noel Leeming Westgate, worst customer service I have experienced. Went in today 28/12/24 to purchase two smart watches, an Apple laptop and iPhones. We started at the smart watches and were looking around for assistance from staff as we had chosen what we wanted and had questions about the Apple laptop. We looked to the front counter and there were around 8 staff standing at the counter laughing amongst themselves with two older staff working the floor. The latter floor staff did not acknowledge us even when they had finished with their customers. And those staff at the counter did not appear to interact with any other customers as they were caught up “in talk”. After 10 minutes of being totally ignored, we left and took our business to Harvey Normans. I am disappointed because of my awesome previous experiences with Noel Leeming Henderson. I am very understanding of retail staff and pressures of the time of year but today’s behaviour left me thinking that they didn’t want to sell products today and that the customers were inconveniencing them!
Prompt Service
I received very prompt Service with Noel Leeming for a new Washer/ Dryer.
Worse customer service
Worse customer service, if uou have sn issue expect to be obstructed, the run around snd generally mediocre uncaring service.
They just want you to go away..
I tried to support a Kiwi business, but the service is do consistently bad that NLG don’t deserve your hard earned money.
Wish I could give a less than zero stars
It pays to keep trying
I purchased a Lenovo Ideapad duet which malfunctioned within two years, out of warranty deemed unrepairable. I researched Customer Guarantee Act, followed advice to contact the company again, requested me to visit my local store and have product assessed. Great results. Awarded refund, awesome contact through process. Well pleased. Shout out to Lenovo also as they assessed my case .
Noel Leeming NELSON: Terrible experience
Bought a product for $460 from Noel Leeming NELSON and it was dead upon opening.
Wouldn't turn on or charge at all, so returned it the next day, only to be told by a female staff member that they have to send it away to be assessed "to cover themselves and make sure we didnt take it home and submerge it in water".
She told us we were not allowed a refund or a replacement and had to wait for it be tested and she didnt know how long it would be, but guessed 5-10 business days.
It was over 3 weeks later when we got a replacement product, as the original was defective at no fault of our own.
Terrible customer service and blamed us for intentionally breaking a brand new product.
We have spent 10s of thousands of dollars in the past few years at Noel Leeming Nelson kitting out our work offices, home office and home, and after this last experience we WONT be shopping there again.
Thankfully a new shop has opened up which price matches as well so we will be taking our business elsewhere.
I bought air fryer from Noel leeming…
I bought air fryer from Noel leeming Moorhouse store in chch but no stock so I have to pick up at Rolleston store. The staff said I just bring the receipt to go to rolleston for collection and not long afterwards I got text message yesterday to collect the air fryer I have paid. Today after lunch time, I went to the rolleston store but the staff there asked me to show my ID with photo. I said I don’t bring any Photo ID as I don’t drive so I don’t have driving license to show. I said I have this original receipt and the text on my cellphone to proof. He said the text on my phone could be just made ( not true) and I might have collected the receipt from somewhere.. I felt very insulted by his words and I was upset.. Finally he opened his computer and asked me my home address and phone number which has been in the system to prove that I was the person who bought the stuff. He could actually did this I instead of insulting me at the first place. Even at last he said sorry to me and handed the stuff to me , I still feel been very insulted by him…. I hope the manager of Noel Leeming Rolleston read this complaint..

Lyall Bay - worst store ever.
Wins the title for worst store I’ve ever been to (and, coming from the UK, that’s saying something!) Went in a few weeks ago to buy an iPhone, but they didn’t have one on display so would only show me the sealed box and tell me about it. Yup - I’m definitely going to give you $1000 when you can’t even be bothered to demonstrate it to me. Then, last week, we went to return an unopened steam cooker (unwanted present). The manager was adamant that because it was outside the 14 day returns window, he wouldn’t even give a credit note, let alone a refund. What kind of store only gives a 14 day return period?? I know places that give 60 or even 90 days. I pointed out that this would definitely result in us never buying anything from NL ever again. But the manager stuck to his principles. Good man!
