Really boring tour guide for the…

Really boring tour guide for the colosseum tour that sucked the life out of the experience, even for my husband who is a complete history buff. I'm sure these tours can be great if you get a good guide but we were definitely unlucky on this occasion.

It was the best well informed tours…

It was the best well informed tours that we did in Rome. Giusepp Rocco was fabulous. We definitely recommend this tour especially if you Giusepp! Ciao!

Tiberius was a fantastic tour guide for our Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, Colosseum tour. He was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about sharing his knowledge of these sites with our group. My wife and I would highly recommend him in the future.

Totally worth it!

We could not attend our visit at the scheduled time and it was possible to change it.
The square of Pantheon is always crowded and there are big queues to enter Pantheon. We indeed skipped the line and we were able to get inside quickly. The audioguide was very explanatory and detailed. Make sure to bring your own headsets and to start playing the audio before entering the Pantheon.
The Pantheon is magnificent!
It totally worth it!

Fantastic Experience!

Our tour guide, Tiberius, not only had the perfect name for a tour of the Colosseum and area, but he was also incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Rome. Thanks for giving my kids and I an experience we will never forget!

Lots of historical detail and perfectly paced

Lots of historical detail and information by our tour guide made it come to life. Getting the special access brought us close to all the monuments and allowed for amazing picture captures. There were massive crowds due to Easter, so avoiding the lineups was great.

If you have kids, just be aware that you'll do about 8000-9000 steps on the tour, so probably not recommended if your kids are very young. For us, 3 hours of immersion in the history of these incredible monuments was perfect.

The tour guide paced the session very well and was very clear and articulate. She also provided some stops that allowed us to get short rests and the opportunity for pics.

I would highly recommend it for anyone that has interest in history.

Enjoyable experience

We enjoyed the tour. It had lots of information. We would have liked more of the tour to be at the colosseum rather than the forum and senate buildings. We spent almost 2 hours at the forum and maybe 45 minutes at the colesseun. Our guide was good

To allow the guide to cover all the key areas and share the depth of information that makes this tour special, while also staying within the scheduled three-hour timeframe, the itinerary is designed with this balance in mind.

Would rate less than zero if I could

Would rate less than zero if I could.
Had Colosseum tour booked for April 11th. Had emails confirming reservation, including the day before, and credit card was charged. Arrived early to meeting point and looked for "Numa tours" sign as instructed; there were 4 others looking for the sign. At about the time the tour was scheduled to start, one of the others waiting approached the EnRoma group gathered and found that our names were on that list; no Numa Tour sign.
We start the tour at The Roman Forum. After going through security, the tour leader advised that there was an issue with the tickets and 3 of us did not have tickets for that day; the tickets were for
April 15th so we could not continue with the tour and we were advised that we would have to leave. The person who had made the inquiry to the EnRoma group and found that is the group we should have been looking for made a call and was told there was nothing that could be done; no tour option for that day was offered.
I received an email shortly after from En Roma that they were sorry of the inconvenience and due to a technical error, names were unfortunately not included on the final list.... This is not true as our names were on the list but the tickets were for the wrong date.
I was advised that I would be given a full refund but it has been more than a week and no refund yet.
Also, sent email to provide review.

We completely understand your frustration, and we are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused. Unfortunately, due to a technical error during the ticket purchasing process, the tickets issued for your reservation were for an incorrect date. As Colosseum tickets are strictly nominative and tied to a specific day and time, this meant that, regrettably, there was no way we could proceed with the visit or offer a same-day solution on-site.

Regarding the confusion at the meeting point, we want to clarify that our company is currently going through a transitional phase. Some bookings are listed under "Numa Tours," while others are managed through "EnRoma." This dual reference has unfortunately led to some confusion for guests. We are actively working to streamline communication and signage so that future customers will have a clear understanding of who to look for and where.

We would also like to highlight that the assistance number provided in your confirmation is available 24/7 and can be contacted at any time for support, including during moments like the one you experienced.

As for the refund, since the booking was made through an external platform, we are not able to process the reimbursement directly. If you have not yet received the refund, please contact us at info@numatours.com so we can follow up with the main platform and request that they expedite the process on your behalf.

Once again, we truly regret the inconvenience, and thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Not recommended

Not recommended, very expensive, we had to make our own way to Florence from Rome and then our guide was uninterested and was not a good communicator causing a lot of confusion and miscommunication, she possessed no knowledge at all and consumed 2 meals herself while we had to wait to return to Florence as there was no provisions made for the group to eat or use the facilities, she constantly threatened us not to be late and palmed us off to other guides and then had the audacity to ask for the group to tip enough that she could enjoy a pizza
In Florence once again we were left to free time
Very disappointed that we were originally informed we would be back in Rome for 19.30 hrs but again that was miscommunicated and we weren’t arriving back until 9 pm, we ended up purchasing another train ticket out of pocket to return earlier
This tour operator should choose another vocation as she is unsuited for this one

The tour was good … but

The tour was good …. However the meeting point could be handled better . There was minimal signage and it felt like we were running around the piazza to find the guide. You need better signage
