Ordered bedroom and lounge furniture for our apartment in Spain. Steve organised everything for us and Debbie scheduled the delivery for when we were in the country. Mick and Tony delivered all the furniture and didn't complain when the lift was out of order and we were on the 2nd floor! Excellent service all round and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

We're very satisfied with Oakland Furniture Spain's customer service; we bought two couches for our vacation home and they made a real effort to accommodate our needs. Mike and Tony, who delivered the couches, were punctual and very professional and moved and installed the couches in no time without a hitch. We're happy to recommend Oakland Furniture Spain.

Ordered our living room furniture in September. Company was great at keeping in touch with deliver dates. Got a date for delivery and text on the morning due for arrival. Mick and Tony arrived within the time frame, nice guys and all very professional. Love the furniture, so much so we have ordered our dining room furniture for delivery by Christmas. Highly recommend.

The A team Andy and Andy were great. We paid a little extra for assembly and everything was perfect. They were very helpful and cheerful despite their long drive to The Netherlands.

Lovely drawers and five stars to delivery men, Mick and Tony, who kept in touch re delivery. However, could have been kept a bit more up-to-date with actual delivery day, following on from email advising that shipment had arrived in Spain ...

We could not have faulted the Customer Service provided by Oakland Furniture. We were made aware of our order all the way through to the delivery. Items were well packed and having been sent from the U.K. to delivery here in Southern SPAIN arrived promptly and on the date specified. Would use this service again.

My only problem I had was that it took to long to get my furniture. I could have gone to the UK and picked it up by the time it arrived here. If you had paid for my trip over I would have done so and it would have been cheaper for you to do this as well.

Just a thought if I order more from you which is highly likely.

Furniture is as described and delivered undamaged by helpful, English-speaking drivers. But be aware that payment for goods ordered is taken the moment the order is placed on-line but the goods may take 2 months to arrive. We have bought twice from this company (and would do so again - but DEFINITELY use a credit card as cross-border disputes, should they arise, would otherwise make it impossible to get your money back). The company's website instructions and emailed communications are a little haphazard involving long periods when you are just left in the dark not knowing whether your furniture is on its way at all.
Though the company is based in Spain, it collates orders (and cash!) received until it has sufficient to fill a shipping container from the UK. It then places its order with the eponymous UK supplier. Several more weeks then pass while the goods are delivered to Spain followed by further delays while transport runs and delivery schedules are worked out.
Good business, good product ... could do much better at the way they deal with customers, especially given the inevitably long delivery times.
Better communication and waiting to charge the credit card until the goods are available would result in 5 stars.

Thanks for the very prompt response. I really don't see the need for this to escalate - something I'm sure neither of us want. But, you asked for honest feedback and got some. The facts are as I stated them - you took the money for the bookcase we ordered on 5 August (the day it was ordered) and then delivered it on 27 September - that's eight and a half weeks from order to delivery.
Nowhere did I say this was outside your firm's terms of business (I did say we are returning customers). In my opinion (as a retired, very experienced businessman) you shouldn't be taking customers' money for goods you do not possess. That's financing your business with customer money and is a justifiable concern for any customer - hence the comments I made.
As for communication and your web site - we are best to agree to disagree - unless you would like to publish the entire email trail.
You can't expect every review to give you five stars but, if you address the issues I raise you would get five from me should we buy anything in the future.
As I said, we are happy with the bookcase, happy with the delivery drivers, unhappy with your company's communications - *especially* given the fact that you take money up-front - months before the goods appear.
I (and I suspect most potential customers) really don't need to know the details of your "milk runs" and other operational details. It's simple: customers buy furniture and expect reasonable quality, delivery and payment terms. You aren't doing bad - but you could do a lot better.

We wanted additional oak furniture to match our existing dining room suite now that we have moved to a more open-plan house in Spain. We looked around local shops but could not find anything that we really liked. We then tried on-line from UK suppliers but delivery to Spain was either not available or very expensive. We then found Oak Land Furniture Spain and found exactly what we wanted and delivery to our house in Spain was included in the price. Delivery took a few weeks as we expected but throughout the whole delivery process we were kept updated by Email and on the delivery day the driver contacted us by phone just before they arrived. It was placed in the room where we wanted it. The furniture was extremely well packed, ready assembled as individual items. The quality was all we had hoped for - it just needed a good application of wax and was ready for use. If I have one suggestion, it would be that the manufacturer should use papier-mâché type packaging instead of the polystyrene/polyurethane foam which we are unable to recycle here in Denia

Great service great product. Had a problem with one piece of furniture that was delivered at 1330 and by 1700 problem was resolved and replacement is on the way!

They are great in every way, any problem is sorted quickly. Cant ask for more. Delivery men very helpful...Nice to find peop[le like this.

I was kept informed of the whereabouts of our order, from the warehouse in England, through to the warehouse in Spain. The communication throughout was excellent.
Tony and Mick arrived when they said they would, they then quickly and efficiently unpackaged the table and chairs. They placed the furniture where I wanted it and then all the cardboard etc was taken away.
A really good service, thank you.

Just finished putting the new bed together and it's perfect.
I have to say I have never dealt with a company that is so switched on.
It been a joy from start to finish . They have kept us informed all the way and I could even track the ship from england (I know sad).
The delivery guys Mick and Tony were great and professional.
