Oakwoodparking Avis 

After reading these reviews i will not be booking through Oakwood parking, when they first started out i use to book all the time...my son also had a bad experience with them recently, all i can say is shades of FORGE parking.... the company and staff of that one is a joke, and it looks like Oakwood are not far behind,

Was nervous about parking here because I didn't read the reviews before booking, however our experience was positive. Slight issue because I emailed weeks in advance to change the dates for which we needed the parking but when we got to the car park the change wasn't recorded on their system. However after I've shown them the email exchange with one of the employees there was no issue with being accommodated.
We were promptly taken to the airport and given a card with phone number to call upon return. We were delayed upon return, we walked over to Express Drop Off and saw the bus about to take so we flagged the driver down and he stopped for us no problem. Car was waiting out the front when we got to the car park about 10 pm so no issues getting out. Overall good experience.

I did not use this company as I was concerned about the reviews and wanted to be ultra cautious as £75 is a lot of money. What I can say is that I conveyed these thoughts in an email and I was given a full refund the next day. I know there are a lot of bad reviews but personally that understanding and acceptance from them on reading my email was admirable so I wanted to put it out there as a positive. Many thanks David

A complete and utter shambles all round. Will never use again. When we finally got to the car park, our car was blocked in. We asked if the car could be moved and got a torrent of abuse from very rude staff. We landed at 00.45 and left the car park at 03.40.

Do NOT use this provider, Car park is NOT secure, its a mud/dirt field, if you arrive when its rained or damp, expect to get muddy, there is no cover while you wait for mini bus- so basically you get Muddy and wet. The staff are Rude (un provoked) - on our return we waited 35mins before we got collected (waited in the cold, again no rain cover) there was a que of people and only 1 bus _the people at the back would have waited for an hour or so. On collecting keys - staff so un organized that it took them ages and my car was absolutely dirty - and my internally carpet (drivers) was full of mud - Avoid at all costs - otherwise you will not be disappointed with this review, unless your experience is like some pervious ones posted with damage to vehicles

Wouldn’t trust this company. Avoid at all costs.
My car was damaged in their care at the end of August. Three weeks later; several emails and phone calls to the office to put me in contact with the owner they have not responded to rectifying the damage that has been caused.

What a dump, arrived after a 2.5hr drive and they wouldn’t let us use the toilet, as they don’t have one, except the staff one which they don’t allow you to use.
Not a good start to our trip, made worse by the miserable staff.
I’ve used other car parks in the area and this one is by far the worst.

Absolutely shocking service got back to place to collect car at 4am this morning couldnt find car in darkness just trying to use fob saw car went over door was not locked all dashboard lights on. Car was blocked in then just tried to start car wouldnt start (got a pretty new car never had problems ) went to office weren’t very helpful came up with battery pack then the man said aww you got jump leads in boot haven’t you so obviously knew there was a problem. Instead of saying to us that they would have to jump start it just left us wandering round car park with a 5 yr old which is not good with no lighting. Managed eventually to get other cars moved and our car started not what you need at 4pm in the morning.plus car had a valet before going there mud on passenger and drivers side.

Used Oakwood a couple of times without issue however after parking for 2 weeks we returned to find a huge crack across my wife's Ford Galaxy windscreen.
The staff were very helpful and we found a stone chip which was most likely the cause and possibly expanded while parked in the extreme hot weather.

We did not see any damage to the screen prior to parking but also realise it's not a given it was done on-site either. However, we were assured the owner would give us a call the following day and probably offer us some help like pay insurance excess (staff words not mine).
Nearly 3 weeks on and a follow-up call to them later we still have not had any correspondence from management / owner to follow up with us.

Poor customer service to say the least !

ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES!! Car park is a filthy dirty more like a gravel pit ur shoes and luggage will be ruined before you even reach the airport! Also there’s no organisation with pick ups at all they just let on whoever and tell different people different pick up points. I was physically and verbally abused by a dark haired middle aged woman who drives the minibus (sounds like she smokes 50 a day) in front of my 2 children for pointing out that my family and another couple had been waiting longer than the rude oap who deliberately pushed in front of us!! All the manager could say was “shut up trace” whilst she was still gobbing off back at reception!! Never ever would I recommend this company …. well if u can call it a company (more like something ran by the dingles!!) pay the extra and go to silver zone!!

Fast dropp off and pick up, car was easy to find and really good prices too! Highly recommended and will use again! 😊👍

DONT BOOK WITH THESE, CHECK ALL REVIEWS CAREFULLY. My experience is not good! They are an unorganized mess! When being picked up its first come first served so you best have your running shoes on! Otherwise you could end up waiting 30 minutes, no que or organisation. When collecting vehicle we was blocked in after them having our flight number, having a phone call day before to be notified we was arriving, they then use the excuse of flight delays, yes... flights are a mess but if that women at the desk actually done some work or the company had organisation, they would only need to quickly check flight numbers that they have when booking on flight tracker, takes less than a minute per flight and no what's coming in and not, what to move and what not to 🤷.

I went down to the office to tell them I'm blocked in, then they wanted me to walk all the way back up and down when parked far from office, to get her registrations, her attitude was also terrible towards me, so I told them this isn't my job to go running around telling you what cars to move etc, that's your staffs jobs, she then tells me I'm not going anywhere then! Then her, some other women and a bloke laughs at me at a few of he sarcky comments. Awsome way to treat your customers, all because of there to lazy todo it there selves and expect there customers todo there work for them while there was 4 staff members in the office at that time.

After around 5 minutes the only one staff member (bald, tall but not the fat one) was willing to look through keys for vehicles that needed to move, after me walking up and down again and taking photos of vehicles to move, women at desk wouldn't do a thing to help, never would I use again, never had this problem with the tavern. I would just pay the extra for silver zone in future.

Well got there at 3am as we were flying at 6am and we had to wait in a que of over 35 people for the buses to go back and for. When we arrived back the bus pulled up and took the first load and while we were first in the que the driver came and loaded everyone but us and when we asked he said they rang ahead to which we did too. Also the gravel makes it impossible to pull a suitcase let alone 4 and the state of the cases afterwards was horrendous as was the inside and outside of my car. Not happy with the service at all

I bought my car to you n clean condition when I picked it up the car was so dirty inside and out I was so hangry I went to see the man and showed him the stat it was in he didn’t give a …. The mud is all inside as well as all over the car it looked like they had put it in a field and rally drove it 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Easy to book. Staff friendly when dropped off car. Quick transfer to the airport. Didnt have to wait long for the bus on our return. Just as I was getting into my vehicle to leave the car park a staff member advised me that I had a slow puncture (I had a feeling that I had one before my holiday) and that he had pumped it up for me! I am extremely grateful for this as was on my own with my children. Thank you so much. Would definitely use again:

Parked here last week and when I picked up my car the rear end was practically in a tree. Had to rev hard to get myself out of the bushes and muck my car had been reversed and beached into. Car is making horrible noises from right rear tire since I picked it back up. Taking to garage to be looked at but the horrible surface the cars are parked on and the fact my car was backed up in this manner points fingers at damage being done whilst it was being moved. Have used these guys a lot but won’t be again, even more so, after seeing my garage bill…
Hoping to raise claim against them but imagine they’ll accept no liability for damages.

Have to say I was a little worried after reading these reviews but went with it anyway as a family the price was great. Helpful, timely and trustworthy I don’t think waiting 10 minutes as some have said is a bad thing especially when you can be waiting longer in the airport car parks.

I don't know why there are so many negative reviews. Ive used this car park many times and never had a problem. Okay so it might be a bit no frills compared to the on airport car parks but I find the transfers quicker than silver zone and the prices much cheaper. Always found the staff to be polite and helpful and apparently they now have onsite accommodation which is getting top marks which I might try out next time I fly.

This isn't a car park it is a field. The minibus is a health hazard. Returned this afternoon and my car was blocked in, the interior having recently been valeted was filthy (see pictures). And the best bit the mini bus didn't have enought space on it to take all people waiting with their luggage. The driver suggested that as we have been waiting, the quickest way to solve this problem was to leave my passenger and luggage and pay Bristol airport 5 pound to enter the drop off area to pick up my passenger and luggage. Additionally we were assured that the vehicle would not be moved from where we were told to park but it was moved hence the mess in the car.

Proceed with extreme caution especially if flying on a Saturday as driver was well versed in the solution to what is obviously a recurring problem...

Car drop off fairly smooth and within few mins on way to airport. Upon return I waited for 10 mins for airport pick up … I was only passenger the driver took me back to car park .. unloaded my suitcase … handed me my keys and then drove off?!! He had indicated by pointing into the darkness approx where my car was towards back of car park … with a thick heavily stoned car park I struggled to drag my case and hand luggage to an approx area .. constantly trying to use my remote key so that my car unlocking lights would flash to give me some indication of where it was actually parked!! Over halfway down the dark end of the car park … NO LIGHTING NO ONE ELSE IN THE CAR PARK … I identified my car … great?!! BUT NO IT WAS BLOCKED IN by cars on both sides on the back row next to fence boundary along with cars parked left|right and immediately in front of it ?? There was not even enough space for me to open door or boot to attempt to put my luggage in ….. I had to wait outside in the cold until the minibus returned about 15 mins later left in the middle of a dark unlit car park and very frustrated that I couldnt even sit in the car to keep warm!! When the attendant returned ….he had to go into the locked office and retrieve keys for the other vehicles which he had to move to allow me to access my car and put my luggage in boot !! REALLY UNIMPRESSED WITH YOUR LACK OF SERVICE …. It was really difficult as well trying to pull my wheeled suitcase across the big stoned car park area ….. very unimpressed and unhappy with your “service” if that’s what u would call it… I would never use them again!!! A very lazy careless attitude!!!
