Office Angels Avis 

I signed up with the Watford office a few years ago and Millie offered me a job as Receptionist at the Paul Strickland cancer unit at Mount Vernon Hospital.
Millie kept saying "let me know if the job changes", looking back that was a red flag. Another red flag was a manager telling me they were going through at least 3 temps a week. Another red flag was another temp there who was a rude moron (Vanessa) from the same agency, there were too many Receptionists and some of them were very angry about this, causing scenes infront of patients (Maria in particular) I told Millie about all these issues but just kept saying "let me know if the job changes". Well, the job did change. The runner had left and suddenly management were training me up to do all the runner's jobs despite them saying their workload will be shared amongst the receptionists, who didn't want to do it because it meant hard work. I put management and Millie on the spot about this role not being the role I signed up for. Millie insisted I carry on with the role! She just wanted her cut and obviously knew the role was going to change so figured I would be desperate enough to accept her job scam. I gave her reasonable notice and left, whereas others had just walked out. Afterwards I heard absolutely nothing from Office Angels again, no more emails, nothing. Luckily for me, I soon got jobs from scam free proper recruitment agencies who always laughed whenever I mentioned OA to them. In essence OA does this: rather than be honest they stitch you up with a fake job and then blacklist you as if YOU did wrong and are not employable. They just want lambs for the slaughter.
I wouldn't pay any attention to any response, I have heard their rhetorical nonsense before back in June 2022. Appararently they wanted to "investigate", its very simple: be honest, if a runner was needed then advertise for a runner! Fake jobs, fake reviews, fake responses. Sums them up.

Joan was so lovely and helpful , she assisted me in finding a role that was the best match for me. Been a pleasure working with Joan from start to finish :)

Overall a really good experience with the team from the Leeds Office. They helped me find the perfect temporary role while I was going through a difficult time in my life due to death in the family. Thank you for all your help!

It was an amazing experience from start to finish. So easy to register and from the minute I joined I had Sophie’s support. She made me feel so at ease and gave me the confidence to go for an interview as well as securing the perfect job for me. She listened to what I was looking for and made applying so simple. It took the stress off me and after 1 interview I got the job. I couldn’t have done it without her support.

I had an online interview with a recruiter from office angels last summer, and to put it bluntly the main conversation was around the fact she did not like the way I looked. As a professional who presents myself very smartly at all times, I was really taken back at the fact that she told me I wasn't a suitable candidate due to the fact that I have tattoos (which can be covered) and a nose and ear piercing, and at one point she turned her nose up at me as she thought that i had dreadlocks (my hair was slicked back in a neat ponytail. not that there's anything wrong with that hairstyle anyway).

Ever since, any job that I apply for through office angels is instantly rejected and no more communication from them comes my way even though I have extensive experience and a strong CV.

I have NEVER experienced this with any other recruiter or employer and I am highly insulted and disappointed considering that Office Angels were given to me as a recommendation. She completely discriminated against me and insulted me, and I was so confused when I came out of the interview as I have never been treated that way before in what was meant to be a professional conversation.

My personal appearance has never been something of an issue throughout my whole career so I was very very disappointed when I found this was the reason why she would not put me forward for jobs and have been rejected ever since.

I would recommend for anyone considering office angels to simply not bother and go to agencies that actually care such as Love success, Reed, Hays.

Seriously poor service from Office Angels.
I have applied for multiple jobs via OA and every time I have received an automated rejection email within 10 minutes of applying.
I followed up with them directly to understand why as my skill set and experience more than matched what they were looking for. To my disappointment I have never received any reply from them.
It's very sad in the current climate for job hunters that recruiters feel that they can treat applicants in such an unprofessional way.
I would avoid this agency.

Really friendly agency. Gabrielle has been very helpful and proactive in finding me temp work here and there and the places I've worked have all been nice. OA actively reach out to you with work instead of having to be chased like some other agencies because they are really on the ball! I am so glad I signed up with them :-)

Office Angels Southcoast have been amazing! They really helped me gain confidence and guide me throughout the recruitment process. Helped me land a job so quickly and supported me all the way through. Being so young at my first job it was hard to take the next step but, without Angela I wouldn’t of had the courage or confidence!

Avoid at all costs. If I could give this a zero star rating I would. I would strongly advise against seeking employment through Office Angels. Despite applying to countless positions and often being overqualified, all I've received from this agency are instant rejection emails. There has been no communication or feedback, just automated responses. I fail to understand where their good reviews come from. This agency seems utterly useless when it comes to actually helping candidates find jobs. Avoid and do not waste your time on applications.
