OHREX Avis 39

My update didn"t work properly, the gps was not able to find my map searches at all.Also lost my favorites.
I am really disappointed about Ohrex2026-02-10 update system in comparison with Garmin gps. I had to restore the whole soft.It is my first and last time I will buy Ohrex gpses.

I think I was nearly scammed, I connected for the free map update, a bot requested my name, email and phone numbers. A “technician” called back from the USA advising as my device may be old I will need to pay for the update. He then asked to connect through my computer to the Ohrex. As soon as I said no. He immediately hung up. SCAM.
I then double checked the web site and you do have to pay for updates. In the very small print. SCAM

Utter bloody garbage and not fit for purpose!
Avoid like an std.

Was working o.k. until battery explosion. Make your own safety judgement.

Bought this sat nav over a year ago. Every time I use it it's hit or miss. Always have to have google maps running on my phone. Sometimes it can get close to where you want to go but only after about 10 minutes of trying to get it to accept locations.Only thing going for it is screen size. Better with a road map than this sat nav.

Just don't put yourself through the stress! Looks like a good idea but oh my god! What a useless piece of *h×t!
No euro maps on it, very "clunky" to use. No response from the so called help line. Yes it's cheap, but if ever there was an example of "you get what you pay for ". This is it.

Bought this Sat nav about a year ago, used it about ten times, and then got it out to charge it up, but it wont charge up and wont turn on, it just flashes ohrex when plugged in to charge, and goes dead when you stop trying to charge it. Expensive, just got ten routes out of it. Completely useless now.

In July 2024 I bought the OHREX 7" GPS off Amazon. I registered it and recently realized I never received the update maps (US) link. I wrote to them, jumped through all the hoops, and they never did send me the link. I'm 74 yrs old and can't afford to buy another GPS due to living off SocSec. I will continue using it until it is no longer able to give me correct directions, but I am done with this rip-off company.

i ordered a OHREX 75 TRUCK and they sent me a cheap copy , not the same at all to whats on the website , ive now tried for over 10 days to get return details to no avail , what poor customer service , still you ticket to return the goods , they are cheap china units , dont be fooled like i was , the unit they sent does not even look like the one on the site , i may as well have gone to amazon to order direct from china at half the cost and i could have returned if i wished , JAMES AVANN

Avoid this company, the customer service is non-existent, they do not send confirmation of your order by email, you can message them on their website but it's pot luck whether they answer you or not. I received the T76 satnav eventually but am waiting for the traffic charging lead, there is a tracking link they gave me on their website which does not exist, of course they are not answering any of my messages. Abolutely abysmal service, amjust hoping the satnav works as it should - watch this space.

only used it a couple the sat nav a couple of times, and put it away, decided to use it again, but GPS navigation wont work, i reset to factory settings with no luck

Sat nav is not fit for porpose. I'm ready to throw it out the window.
This item has got to be a joke item.

I bought the sat nav being based in the caribbean and it doesn't support my country.
So basically the return window is closed on Amazon.
I'm stuck with a device which is of no use to me..

Bought this sat nav after watching some reviews online looked good. BUT after purchasing i wish i didnt , Faulty charger, screen resolution is very poor . and takes a long time to find satellites. and vehicle location is not accurate.

Purchased the sat nav which arrived very quickly but I’ve took it out the packet and turned it on and the touch screen is not working, won’t let me press on anything….very annoying for a new purchase

Works sometime. Last two trips actually led around in circles. Very strange reactions to inputs. Stopped using it and cannot in good concious sell it to anyone.

I've just purchased a new Ohrex, sat nav on line. I've managed to attach the bracket but unfortunately mount will not fit into the bracket,it keeps falling out. This is a very stressful experience, for me. I would appreciate suggestions to overcome this difficulty. Thanks, Jo

I drive trucks around Europe and have had every make of sat-nav on the market. All them have worked ok. But I decided to try the OHREX because of the price, being a fraction of the cost of any of the rivals.
So far it has been excellent. Its routing has been in the most part accurate. And the inbuilt information for Trucks is second to none. Of course the real test will come over time. But at this price if it only lasted two years I would be quid's in.

Had problems downloading the UK maps. Emailed David at Ohrex and sent me a TF card free of charge. It took a matter of seconds to install. Fabulous customer service.

Wish I'd stuck with TOM TOM!
1. Biggest fault is that my DAB radio always looses signal when the OHREX is turned on. Never happened with my previous 2 sat navs.
2. I keep changing/saving the settings to miles but when turned on it always defaults back to kilometers.
3. After 30 seconds of driving the screen goes very very feint and impossible to read. Couldn't find the setting to keep screen active all the time as I would like it to be.
4. It will always tell me the speed limit when I go over it. Thats great but how about showing me all the time on the screen what the bloody speed limit is for the road I'm on! Tom Tom did.
