My new Ohrex sat nav did not work

My new Ohrex sat nav did not work. It wouldn’t find a satellite signal. Did complain, and I received a pre owned sat nav as a replacement. Not happy as I had purchased a new one! The pre owned one still had the same problem, no satellite signal. Have complained again, and have not received a reply. Steer clear and use a reputable company.

Hi,Becky,thank you for your buying. Every sat nav is tested well under OHREX quality control before we sell to customers. Please make sure you use the sat nav outdoors.Indoors there is no sat nav signal.

Thankyou to David who contacted me this morning with regards to my order. He was very helpful and put my mind at a bit more ease as to where my order was and gave me a tracking number so i knew exactly what was happening. Although there was a slight delay dispatching the item at least i know it is on its way.

I do a lot of driving for my job and am just setting up my Ohrex 7 inch Sat Nav, which is not too difficult at the moment, but I'm struggling to save any routes. Can someone please explain how to do this as I have a number of destinations that I regularly use and need to save them. Thank you, penny

Just bought a unit

Just bought a unit , large screen and letters ( works well for aging eyes)
Problem : I have no sound and all efforts to re set , re install etc won't work .
Anyone any ideas ??

Excellent sat navs and customer service

Why is it that there are so many sat nav apps available free yet as soon as you want one to drive a big vehicle (Lorry/Bus/Motorhome) every app or device wants you to pay an absolute fortune? Decided I needed one as trying to get back to driving lorries again and finally found a cheap one on Amazon for under £60 by company called OHREX and must say it’s even better than my old TomTom I used to have.

There customer service has been absolutely excellent

No not selling them or got any affiliation just was so impressed I thought they deserved a shout out.

I am trying to register my GPS as per instructions and they will not do it. The only reason I bought it was for unlimited updates and for that I need to be registered.

Exceptional customer service

I had an issue with sat nav which had worked perfectly for over 2 years. David responded almost immediately to my initial on-line question and beared with me, politely and promptly, while I tried his suggestions over a day or two. When I couldn’t resolve the problem, without being asked, David offered to send me a new replacement at no charge. I received it within 2 days. Ohrex should feel privileged to have such an amazing employee. Thanks again.

A handy and useful SatNav device

I was new to driving in the UK in 2019 and hence I thought of getting a Satnav. I decided to get the Ohrex Satnav on seeing the positive reviews of its users. I was right in deciding on the Ohrex Satnav as it has always led me to my destination promptly.

The after-sales support is awesome and I should offer a special mention about David who provides me quick and effective support for resolving the issues in the device and map settings.

I would definitely recommend this product which is a useful device for taking us to the right destination promptly.

A splendid piece of kit!

I am 82 and because I had to make some rather complicated journeys without a navigator, I decided to get a satnav. I chose an Ohrex because the price was good and the reviews were encouraging. I did have some difficulties at the beginning, but the helpline was there to explain things and before long I had overcome these small problems, learned how to use it and now find it the most wonderful help. A really splendid piece of kit! Highly recommended!

Easy instructions to keep maps updated

Asked about updating the map and quick, easy instructions were emailed right over. Huge files so it takes time but worked perfectly. Great service. Great product.
