Great value for money i always get my outdoor gear from these guys. Very happy indeed

I ordered on a Sunday and was then informed it had been dispatched on Monday..then I was told by the courier it was at their hub on Tuesday for delivery the next day..I waited until 9 days later to be told they had lost it!..got in touch with Outdoor Action and they sent me a new item on the Monday which arrived on Wednesday..I cannot fault their committment and customer relations so would highly recommend them to anyone

After reading the reviews I wasn’t sure whether or not to order from Outdoor Action, but I’m so glad I did. I ordered on Weds, within 2 hours my order had been dispatched and my items arrived by Saturday despite the bank holiday in the middle. Communication was excellent. The items were perfectly packed, just as described and were by far the best price for the items that I had found. I know my sizes for the items I ordered so I didn’t have to worry about returns. I will use again in the future.

I noticed there are a lot of bad reviews, but I didn't have any issues. They had a good price on the item I wanted - which was lower than the prices offered by competitors, and I didn't have to wait long to receive my order.

Easy to deal with, had to return a fleece that was too small, comms were great and refund was very quick

Visited the store to buy a waterproof jacket and was blown away by the size of the store and the variety of stock in both brands and price range.
Found a jacket that met all my needs from the brand Didriksons - so many fabulous features including 8 pockets!!
The team were super friendly and we will definitely be supporting this business in the future.
A fabulous find.

I ordered two Wayfayrer all day breakfasts. Unfortunately I ordered the non-vegetarian ones so hands up my fault.

I asked Outdoor Action if they could help, their response is below. As you can see, pretty unhelpful, defensive and a bit stupid regarding giving the product to a non-vegetarian.

Sorry nothing we can do, as we shipped what was orders. if unopened your more than welcome to post back for a refund, but cost maybe more than the meal itself, so maybe pass on to someone who is not vegetarian.
If wish to send back address in paperwork that was included, please enclose a copy of your order and we will refund."

I have dealt with dozens of companies over the years and without fail, they offer a free return and refund.

They could have offered a free return and exchange as a good will gesture?

As they say, "you pays your money, you takes your chance". I won't be chancing it with Outdoor Action again.

ps. might be worth checking your spelling and grammar in your reply. "orders" should be "ordered" and "your" should be "you're". I won't charge you for the advice, my gift to you.

I think by the tone of your reply, my one star review for customer service is completely justified.

I have never known a company to take such a thin skinned approach to criticism.

As for blaming you, I asked for help, please highlight where I said it was your fault. Oh, you can't.

If you read your other one star reviews, this a common theme. Rude, aggressive, unhelpful, unprofessional, what a joke business.

Excellent customer service. Ordered items were very competitively priced and were despatched same day.
Good communication. Would definitely use again.

Sales prices are amazing! I was put off by expensive shipping BUT it was delivered through Fedex who give plenty updates about your delivery and arrived on time with packaging in great condition.

I will absolutely order from here again.

Very good service and quick response. I had to cancel an order because I missed the bottom line of a description. The line WAS there but it’s human error on my part. I emailed and they very quickly cancelled and refunded me. It’s even Boxing Day and they handled the request. I will order from these in the future as they seem very good and trustworthy, and I wanted to add this review for balance considering some I’ve read on here.

Now that I see the other reviews it all makes sense....to bad I haven't checked Outdoor Action Ltd reviews before I made a purchase.
Paid £107 for a pair of leather shoes and 10 express delivery as I am going abroad. Received a pair of used shoes, scratched , with no labels on them , the labels were inside the box. I was just shocked , never ever before have I ordered shoes online to receive anything else then brand new shoes until today....
Called them and asked about it and was sort of explained that its a common practice and that probably someone else returned them.
The terms and conditions on the website mention:
Before sending your item back please make sure of the following
• The item is still in a new and unused condition, free of odors and pet hairs
• All labels and swing tags are still attached to the garment, and any boxed items are kept in the original box.

So they broke they're own terms and conditions and sent me shoes that were tried, returned , scratched by someone else claiming they are new shoes.
Asked them for a Freepost label as I really don't see myself responsible for received something not new ...ex display shoes call them whatever and was refused as it is my responsibility to pay for the return , after I already paid £10 delivery and got something used, unbelievable!
So please be careful when ordering online from here , you might buy something just to find out it was used and returned and end up paying postage twice to get your money back like I have to do so better try somewhere else.
You know mister you could at least copy my name from my order correctly it's just 6 letters but this just shows even more what type of business you have. As a customer i bought a new item, opening , un-wrapping etc is part of my experience as a customer...I paid for it, anyway I can assure you that you wont manage to teach economics to anyone also you will be reported to The Trading Standard office. Also the product you advertise online has a red line on the bottom of the show whilst what you sent me is a different colour, are they fake as well ?

There chosen courier took 3 days to deliver with a promise daily to deliver before 18:00. I have lost 3 days pay from work. I escalated this to Outdoor Action Ltd including proof of delivery times and the trusts pilot 1 star rating for the courier. Rather than escalating the matter and finding out where the actual item was they chose to explain how they rate the courier 99% & do not experience any issues with them which I find very hard to believe. The item finally arrived within a ripped and damaged bag. This item is being returned first thing tomorrow. I will not purchase from this company again.

Not a good experience!
We bought a drive away awning, only to find that once it was attached to our camper van we couldn't drive away. We contacted this company regards the problem only to be told that we needed a drive away awning kit, of course at an extra cost to us!! Not once was this mentioned in the description of the product. Also the pump supplied was a single action pump, only inflated the awning. Total nightmare deflating it by hand. We had yet again to pay extra for a dual action pump. We contacted this company regards the pump not being fit for purpose. Only to be ignored. Terrible customer service. So in summary we had to spend approximately £53 extra on top of the £700 that we already spent just to make this product usable. Not happy and would not recommend trusting the product information. We feel cheated, angry and disappointed with this company. 😡😠🤬

The store had some great prices, which is why I originally purchased.

Upon receiving my parcel containing £130+ of clothing, I was shocked to find a poor condition shipping box, torn with holes and little to no tape. The items were thrown in the box without further protection. - these are Xmas clothing gifts. They weren’t in any clothing bags or wrapped, just literally thrown into the box.

I’ll be checking the items carefully, and sending it all back if anything is damaged.

Boxing things securely is necessary this day and age, with such unreliable couriers, so why take the risk and not protect your sold products more carefully? It’s a basic service that should be expected!

I bought some trousers in April, a brand that I usually buy and used them occasionally over the summer, I went to use them last week and noticed the elastic on the side was broken so contacted Outdoor Action via Amazon to which I did not get a reply so I followed it up yesterday, they very quickly decided that the elastic had been put under immense strain or accidently damaged and would not be covered by the manufacturer's warranty, the trousers were less than 12 months old and neither of these scenarios applied, this is very poor and lazy customer service, In future I will stick to Go Outdoors.

I can see from your reply my first review was bang on, so now this could never happen under normal usage....like wearing them as trousers. I have several other pairs of this manufacturers trousers all of which are fine, this is lazy customer services just deny liability and hopefully it will fade away, I have now contacted the manufacturers directly, good luck in your future endeavours, you will need it.

I purchased a MSR Pocket Rocket Deluxe on the 1st of October through their Amazon selling page. The item was described as brand new.

When I received this item it had clearly been on display for a very long time. The product box was highly faded on the top and down one side. There was dirt and dust inside the box and marking on the box due to being in direct light/sunlight for a long period of time. There was also a reduced/clearance label stuck to the front of the product box, this had been half ripped off and the backing and remains of the label were still stuck to the box. This was not in a sellable condition. This is an item that would normally be sold at a reduced, ex-display price. This was not advertised as 'ex-display' but advertised as new.

The item was returned immediately and I still have not received a refund from the seller. They received the item on the 7th October,n five days ago, and still no refund.

After numerous emails, they are not responding to any emails. I have had to escalate this through Amazon, and I am about to contact my bank for a charge-back.

Very poor service, and poor customer service. Selling ex-display items as new items, and delayed refund.

Further to your response! This is not rude, it is factual and truthful information. I will post the confirmation of your receipt of return on the 7th of October where it clearly states that EVRI have delivered the item to you.

Having been let down by two other independent outdoor companies who cancelled orders after 3/4 days I called Outdoor Action. The last company cancelled the order on the Friday and I needed the jacket by Tuesday! 🤬 Outdoor Action confirmed they had the jacket in stock, and also they would be able to get it to me in time. Ordered online lunchtime Friday, and paid for express delivery. Due to arrive with me on Monday… happily updated tracking and delivered by 1100 on Saturday (I do love DPD over other companies!). Thank you for your excellent customer service and very quick despatch.

Visiting the Ribble Valley area, from Scotland, both my wife's and my wellington boots got damaged. I searched the web and found Outdoor Action.
Very impressed with the store and particularly impressed with Ken, the extremely knowledgeable salesperson who attended to us. His wide knowledge of feet, my wife has fallen arches, the thorough measuring of both our feet, the full explanation on the qualities of the wellingtons we were interested in and the time he spent with us was very much appreciated. An excellent ambassador for the company and two very satisfied customers.

Never used this company before, however I am very pleased I stumbled across them . Brilliant bargains and a very quick delivery. I had started an order on my phone but the signal went, tried the next day on the laptop and found they had saved the basket, and offered a discount. Got my order the next day -great service.
