Very pleased with the service from this company, everything was correct the 4x items as described the tracking spot on, and keeping me informed and of course speed of delivery.

First time using this company to buy a Christmas present for my husband. Accidentally ordered him the wrong size trousers and didn’t realise until they came - I returned them & within 1 working day had an email saying they’d been exchanged and the correct size was on its way! Amazing service & I will certainly be ordering again. Thank you so much - one happy customer!

Went through checkout only to be told delivery to my address was not possible. Frustrating as I’d entered all my personal and payment details by this point.

Will definately be using Outdoor Action in future. I ordered footwear late evening Sat 6th Nov, upon further reading on website i realised they was a different item to what i originally thought and immediately emailed them asking to cancel before sending the footwear out. I got a reply 1st thing monday morning informing me i would get immediate refund and 1 minute later i indeed got refund.

Ordered new storm straps and my mistake ordering the wrong ones. Quick phone call to explain what I was looking for and the person I spoke to couldn't have been more helpful. Took my number, went away and took some measurements from what was in stock. Called me back straight away, ordered the right ones and were delivered within 48 hours. Outstanding service and will purchase anything else I need from Action Outdoors.

Outdoor Action has a very user friendly website and is a company I have never used before. My purchase of a Regatta Parmenia Jacket was processed and delivered very quickly within three days; communications were excellent. The jacket is of excellent quality, beautifully made and fits perfectly - size 12. I am thrilled with my jacket, which is an absolute bargain considering it’s sale price, as it suitable for cold winter days due to its warmth and showerproof fabric. I will definitely be using this company again, as well as recommending it to friends because it is a very efficient company who outperform others with their superb deals for highly regarded clothing. Online order from start to finish was a dream! Great price for the Outwell SIM. Lots of communication from Outdoor Action and reputable courier (FedEx) used. From order to door in less than 48hrs Brilliant!

Had a great experience went in to have a look clearance came out with a lot of other things. The sales assistant on Tents was brilliant as I was after force ten poles so he ran around the store to find us some. When there was none have us another option. Great service and great advice!!

Great Experience.
Fantastic customer service to repair and replace a Vango tent. The issues were entirely due to Vango but Outdoor Action kept pursuing them on my behalf until the correct product, without any defect, was delivered. This has taken over 15 months to resolve but I have never been without a usable tent when I needed one. Thank you.

Bought an expensive in my opinion kip kampa double 10cm thick sim. Received it earlier this week and it was so poorly packaged that FedEx stated it had been badly packed and marked it on their machine as such. It had been put into a box for 2 with no other protection. I let it self inflate then sealed it and there's a tiny pinhole leak. I tried chat and they couldn't expedite a refund I had to email in and wait min of 48hrs which is the case for every subsequent email as well. I was asked for a photo which I sent but obviously it's not going to show a pinhole so they advised me to get the FedEx paperwork which isn't my job and to reinflate it which I didn't and take a pic with soapy water to show bubbles escaping before they will arrange a refund. Wth! Just flipping refund me and arrange a collection don't expect me to do your job for you!

I ordered a Calor Gas BBQ trolley which arrived the next day, however one of the parts was damaged. They swiftly sent out a replacement part and then when a small nut was also found to be missing to complete the build, they also sent this out immediately.
I think the faults lay with the delivery company and the original manufacturer, but Outdoor Action managed to rectify what could have been a bad experience.

They had what I needed. Great price, delivered quickly and I love the items. Perfect.

Recent new customer online to OA, with a Vango tent (currently on pre order), a Vango Sleeping Bag and Coleman Stove. Excellent communication so far about the pre order answered in under 24hrs, and v fast delivery of all other items to date. Will very much look forward to paying the store a visit when we can. I was disappointed that the zamberland boots I ordered were faulty - the leather was badly creased at one eyelet meaning the boots wouldn't close as tightly on this foot. It looked like they had been poorly stored, however the sales agent said other pairs had the same fault and so it was a manufacturing default. Whatever the reason its fine because I was sent a free royal mail postage label without question, and have since received a refund.

Saw some reviews and it did give me some cause for concern, I must admit its been refreshingly positive for myself. Ordered a Buffalo mountain shirt, e mail conformation and updates when dispatched. Arrived within a couple of days, a great price a very smooth transaction and I will use again, no hesitations from my experience, thanks to all.

What more can I say ordered my items and they arrived promptly. The coat was to big so returned it and got a replacement within 2 days of them receiving my returned items.

Outdoor action in breach of distance selling regulations as their terms of business hidden in small print state that the buyer if sending back unwanted goods then the postage cost incurred by the seller will be deducted from the refund credit.
This means that on free postage if you send an item back that was unsuitable and pay your own return postage, according to outdoor action then they will deduct an additional monetary amount for the initial postage which was supposedly free.
This is illegal and in breach of the distance selling regs.
Who is to say what amount they will deduct in breach of the distance selling regs.
Make sure you know your rights and use a credit card etc and if it's under £100 use paypal

On all unwanted goods return postage is the responsibility of the customer. Any postage costs incurred by Outdoor Action Ltd in initially dispatching the order will be subtracted from the value of the refund/exchange, this does not affect your statutory rights.

If I could give no stars I would. I ordered a double sleeping bag but didn't received it. I then received a lamp for another customer so I called Outdoor Action thinking they had sent my sleeping bag to the wrong address & had somehow muddled the orders up. I explained what had happened and they said they would investigate. Today I received an email from Outdoor Action to say the Fed Ex driver had handed me the parcel and unless I could provide solid evidence to prove I didn't receive the parcel then they would not investigate any further. How the hell can anyone provide solid evidence that they didn't receive a parcel? When I asked this question I was told that I should have CCTV then I would be able to prove it. I am now out of pocket by £87. Avoid this company folks - they have zero customer service and talk over the top of you when you try to put your case forward. if you read through the reviews you will see I'm not the only one to have received such s*it customer service and not receive the item paid for.

I didn't tell anyone I had CCTV I said I had a door bell that alerted me when someone was at the door. I raised my voice due to the rudeness of the person who just kept talking over the top of me.

I am happy to have found a place where the goretex pants in my size was in stock. Took the 2 day delivery option by the Post Office and overall saved £10.00, arrived within time, in excellent condition and item as expected. As the shop and the Post Office states tracking for the purchaser my not be available,but in my case that was not a problem.
