Items destroyed and no response to calls and emails
In April I sent a fragile package through the Fyshwick ACT store. I had used this service before, as had friends and had no issues. On this occasion they failed at all levels after pick-up. The fragile items were wrapped well in bubble wrap, placed in a box with all gaps filled with bubble wrap and then placed in a second packing box which was clearly marked all over as containing fragile items. The box arrived in WA a week after dispatch but the tracking did not update. I a few weeks later I contacted the recipient who then picked up the box from the depot. I contacted the Fyshwick office about the delay and they said it was a WA problem and to contact them even when I pointed out that my contract was with them not WA. When the box was opened, every fragile item was in many pieces. The Fyshwick depot did not return my calls and there has been no response to my email to pack and send headquarters in Sydney.
As I said, failure at all levels and I will not use or recommend them again.

Personal phone contact saved me
Easy to speak personally with over the phone. I had an unpicked up item from another courier company. Sam at the Fyshwick centre in Canberra pack & send. Smoothed out what could have been messy and took care of me and the collecting my items to be sent. I like being able to speak with the same person and they know my problem amongst their otherwise busy day.

Easier and better than auspost
Easier and better than auspost. No lines and I could workout costs beforehand. No problem for me to print out labels and attach myself so after that I just dropped it off and it was done. Fast delivery too.

Worked very well, no issues. I used the online registration and dropped to the Dept with the parcel being delivered very promptly. Would use again and can recommend.

Prompt pickup and very prompt delivery. Easy to use website. No fuss.
Would suggest you come up with some way of refining your pickup time estimation. 'Somewhere between 0900 and 1700' is a bit wide, especially when pick up address is home and people need to run out and do things....
