UK to Australia Move
We recently moved our cat and elderly JRT from the UK to Australia. Pet Air were really helpful from the beginning, explaining what steps we needed to take. Pet Air collected them from our home in the UK and gave us updates as they left the UK to start their journey to us. They are both happy and healthy and settling into their new home. Would highly recommend.

Amazing experience
Amazing experience, I was extremely worried about sending my 13 year old cat on a 12+ flight but I was put at ease throughout the whole process, everyone who helped along the way was super friendly and knowledgeable and answered every single one of my questions thoroughly, especially Victoria who walked me through the whole process and Sharon who took over seamlessly during Victoria's annual leave. There was a little complication regarding my cat having missed a vaccination but PetAir worked with my local vet to get it all sorted and back on track. Thank you PetAir UK for making what would've been a very stressful journey a much more relaxed one!

I just moved to the UK and decided to manage my pets move from the US on my own. This meant finding an exporter, a vet, and an importer/customs agent all on my own and I’m SO happy I went with PetAir UK for my importer. I worked primarily with Megan who was an absolute pleasure to work with. She answered my many MANY questions and helped me get my two dogs across the pond despite a couple of hiccups along the way (on the export side).
I would 100% use them again for any pet relocation needs now that I’m in the UK.
Special shout out to Tony, the driver who brought my dogs from LHR to my flat. I live on a very busy street and he gladly helped me get both my dogs and their very large crates up the street and into the flat.

PetAir UK have been nothing short of amazing for transporting my dog all the way from the UK to Perth, Australia.
My consultant was Liz Blanchette and I cannot be more pleased with the service I have received. From the get-go I have been kept in the loop, informed and reassured. This could have been a rather stressful experience, shipping my boy across the globe, but Liz has kept me updated, with quick and thorough responses, explaining every part of the process and answering any and all questions I had with understanding and patience.
I received friendly and warm updates, including pictures of my dog whilst in transit to the airport from a handler named Chloe - which massively put my mind at ease. Frankie is a nervous boy and so I had additional worry for his happiness. However I have been made to feel that my animal's welfare has been paramount through this entire process - which is singularly the most important factor to me.
I was also concerned that this process was going to take up a lot of my time on top of all the other considerations of moving abroad, but that couldnt be further from the case. Liz has taken care of everything and detailed all that she has needed from me every step of the way. It was completely stress-free.
I could not recommend PetAir more to anyone looking to transport their pet overseas. 10/10 experience for something so important.

Exceptional Care and Seamless Support Moving Our Dogs from the UK to Perth 🐾✈️
We used Pet Air UK to move our two dogs from the UK to Perth, and I honestly can’t recommend them highly enough.
Our original travel date had to be cancelled when one of our dogs unexpectedly needed an operation. As you can imagine, that added a lot of stress to an already emotional process — but the changes were handled completely seamlessly. The team reorganised everything quickly and calmly, and we felt supported the whole way through.
Liz was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Her communication, reassurance, and attention to detail made such a difference. Moving pets internationally is daunting, especially to Australia with all the strict requirements, but Liz made everything feel manageable and under control.
We also had a last-minute hiccup when one of our dogs failed the lepto test and needed a retest. Of course this happened while Liz was on holiday — but Rachel stepped in immediately and made sure nothing fell through the cracks. There was no delay in support, no confusion, and no added stress for us. It was clear the team works closely together and genuinely cares about the animals and their owners.
Both dogs arrived safely in Perth, and we are so grateful for the professionalism, organisation and kindness shown throughout the entire process. If you’re relocating pets internationally, especially to Australia, you really want a team like this behind you.

From the very first phone call I made to PetAir UK until my dog landing in Auckland NZ everything was handled with the utmost care, all the questions I had ( and there were lots) were answered immediately and nothing was to much trouble, I was kept updated all the way along the process and when Henry was collected ready for his journey to NZ I received numerous pictures of him right up to getting on the plane. I used Petair twice as part of my relocation to the UK - once in November 2025 for my chihuahua and then again in January 2026 for my two retrievers.
The people at Petair are amazing. Its obvious they really care about the animal(s) and understand that it is emotionally stressful for the owners.
Moving pets internationally is a minefield of red tape... especially when importing into the UK. Petair are experts at all the paperwork, rules and regulations. They are endlessly patient in helping you get the information correct so that there are no snags on the receiving end. The experience at the ARC when you finally arrive is outstanding. They are quick and, once again, it is obvious that they care that both you and your pet are reunited quickly and safely and they do everything in their power to expedite that. They provide regular updates while you wait for the process to complete, making it much less stressful while you wait to be reunited with your pet.
I hope I never have to export my pets again, but if I did I would absolutely entrust them to Petair.

The piece of mind we needed...
Making the decision to move to the other side of the world with your pets is not anything you can prepare for unless you've gone through it. It is a long, complicated, emotional and stressful process. The thought of your fur babies flying for long periods and being in new environments was worrying, however PetAir helped make this journey feel under control and supported us the entire way.
Communication over email was excellent and if we had any questions, they were efficient in responding to us. They helped us with the timeline of appointments across the 10 months and guided us through what we needed to ask for at our own vet clinics. They were also excellent at communicating with our vets to ensure all paperwork was completed.
When it came to our pets being collected ready to travel, we were kept informed throughout their journey from their kennels/cattery. We were updated with photos in Doha when they completed the first leg of their flight and were informed when they arrived to quarantine in Melbourne. I would highly suggest getting Australian OV's to complete the ID checks so they only have to complete 10 days in quarantine(rather than 30).
We are so glad we chose the PetAir and got the Gold Service. I'd highly recommend PetAir to anyone who is considering this move. We feel so relieved that our pets are happy, healthy and back with us in our new home in Australia.

I was more than happy with the staff…
I was more than happy with the staff and friendly team and they kept me up todate with how things were progressing. I still felt it was an awful lot of money for basically collecting, the vet giving her the once over and then putting her on a flight. All checks with the vet & vaccinations were down to me. We completely understand your feelings regarding the cost. International pet relocation can seem expensive, particularly when owners are handling certain elements such as vaccinations and initial vet work themselves. Alongside collection and flights, there are also extensive compliance checks, coordination with airlines and authorities, documentation reviews, customs processes, and contingency planning happening behind the scenes to ensure everything goes smoothly and meets strict import regulations. While much of that work isn’t always visible, it’s a significant part of ensuring safe and stress-free travel.
That said, we truly respect your perspective and we’re very grateful that you trusted PetAir with someone so important in your life. We’re so glad she arrived safely and that, in the end, it was worth it for your peace of mind.

PetAir were great start to finish- no hidden costs and reassuring throughout the whole process. My cat was well-looked after and I was even sent photos throughout her whole journey (aside from the plane part- obviously!). I would 100% encourage anyone to use them. Incredibly patient, compassionate, and understanding during a stressful and complicated move. They navigated issues with our vet in the US perfectly and went above and beyond to ensure paperwork was correct prior to arrival. When our cats arrived and we found out there was a mistake in microchip numbers they took immediate action and we were able to take our pets both home that day. A HUGE thank you to all at PetAir for their professionalism and responsiveness.
