My item has been stuck in customs for two weeks. I paid via PayPal and have now requested a refund because the delay is unacceptable.
I believed I was purchasing from an Australian-based company because that’s how it was presented, but it appears this is not the case. If I had known the item was being shipped internationally and could end up stuck in customs, I would have ordered elsewhere.
When I contacted them, this was their response:
“We sincerely apologise that this shipment is experiencing an unusually long delay due to customs clearance. This is a rare situation and, unfortunately, outside our direct control. Please allow us a few more days to resolve the matter with the courier and customs authorities. If we are unable to resolve the issue within that time, we will proceed with issuing you a full refund.”
Too little, too late. The bigger issue is the lack of communication. If I hadn’t reached out, would they have even told me the item was stuck in customs?
Very disappointing experience and not what you expect when you think you're buying from an Australian company. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing from here.

I ordered from Pet Shed three 12 packs of heartworm meds for large dogs and one 12 pack of small heartworm meds. They shorted me two complete 12 packs for large dogs and all for small. It took multiple calls and putting it in dispute with PayPal to get it right. They called me 2:00AM and on a Sunday while I was in church. When I received the second order it was not the brand I ordered and my dogs will not take it like the other brand I ordered. I was a customer with them a long time but they seriously have gone downhill. They send you whatever they feel like sending. Not to mention the first order the box was destroyed. The new meds they do even have listed on their site. Bad bad news.

Medication always comes in a timely manner. The description of the medicaid is right on, and they have several options to pick from. I have been a customer for 10 years.

We received Meds within 2 weeks. I save a lot of money. Did not have to visit doctor, nor get a prescription.

I personally have never experienced an issue buying from Petshed and have been buying my pet meds from them for over 10 years now.

I'm convinced getting pet meds in the US has turned into a money racket, because it is always either such a hassle getting a prescription from our vet and/or the vet's prices are very high. Petshed always has the meds and supplements I'm looking for, has great prices, fast shipping, and the convenience is unmatched.

The meds I get are always unopened and in the manufacturer's packaging. The one minor caveat (although admittedly this may have only been a past issue) is that sometimes I have to order in metric units as well as the packaging is in metric units--meaning it wasn't packaged specifically for sale in the US--but unit conversion is easy and has never been problem. The product I receive is always well within their expiry date (only a month or two from manufacturing date), and even if I buy a year supply, the product can be used as directed per the label instructions before expiration.

I can't remember if I have ever needed to contact customer service so I can't really comment on the quality of customer service, but that is simply due to the fact that I order and pay for what I need and 7-10 days I have my order--so never a need to contact customer service.

I would (and have) recommend Petshed.com, and will continue to order from them as long as they continue to provide the same quality service I have always experienced.

I visited PetShed yesterday as I needed unbiased advise on puppy/dog food and cannot thank the staff enough, I was given the information that I needed without hard sales for specific product, which was a big difference from my experiences with both our Vet and the larger Pet supplies shop in town.

I was also given advise on food for my adult and very fussy eater cats

Their puppy plan is great as the discount lasts 3 months which is a fantastic idea as new pets can be expensive

Order is stuck somewhere in China now for over 2 months and Pet Shed refuses to reship although they where quick to take my money. Should have known to buy anything from a China based company because 99% of the time it's a ripoff

I have been purchasing from Petshed for over 10 yrs now. Do not believe for a second that you are sacraficing the quailty of medication because you are buying from another Country, on the contrary, you are getting good quality prodoucts & on top of that, you will save money because they are able to provide affordable prices that the US will not provide for us, shipping included. I am sure the good people of Australia love their pets as much as we do here in the States & I am certain they would not use these products if the quality were not good, despite what some US Vets may argue. Buy from Petshed, take care of your pets & save money while doing it. It really is a good deal all the way around.

I have been buying from Pet Shed for my dog for years. Their prices beat any in the U.S. even with shipping costs. AND you don't have to get your Vet's permission to buy heartguard. I buy the generic invectin and the frontline prices are awesome too. Just buy for a year-all the expiration dates are listed. I tell all my friends about PetShed. 5 stars
