Needed to delay shipment a few weeks until a specific date and this was handled without a problem. Crates arrived as scheduled and were deliverd right to the door. While a couple crates were damaged... Voir plus

Plastor prices look good but there is a hidden con
I have only given Plastor 1 star because it is not possible to give a zero rating.
Other customer reviews state that the Plastor website is an utter con and that their prices are very low but they do not mention the delivery charges and the reason is that these charges are inflated to make huge profits.
I can confirm that this is the case because I placed an order for 1 x RUB21XL box priced at £14-65 and two days later I received a delivery quote by email of £17-50 + VAT my email to them below states how I feel about this company taking advantage of it's customers (Please see below).
I have since purchased exactly the same item at a similar price from ebay with a delivery charge of only £9-99 with the complete cost to me of £23-74 including VAT and not in excess of £32 + VAT if I had been foolish enough to buy from Plastor.

Our shipping costs are determined by the size, weight, and location of the stock (in this case, directly from our supplier who provides us with the shipping rates) as well as the delivery destination. We always aim to offer competitive rates, though we understand that unexpected charges can be frustrating, and we sincerely apologise if this caused any inconvenience.
We’d also like to clarify that Plastor has been serving both businesses and private customers for over 30 years. While we predominantly focus on wholesale and corporate orders, we welcome individual customers and are always happy to assist with any queries related to products or shipping.

Good product
Ordered extra Euro Containers 800 x 600 x 220mm. We are very happy with the ones we ordered several years ago, strong, robust, lightweight. The company is easy to deal with, clear communication.

Around half the price of everywhere else!
The Linbins were around half the price of other retailers, and they sell the appropriate dividers too which not many places do. Will definitely use again if required!

Slight issue with damage occurring during shipping but it was quickly sorted out and replacements sent. Very fast an efficient.

Great company to deal with

Prices are ok for the stuff you are…
Prices are ok for the stuff you are ordering, but the level of customer service from the sales team I find to be poor, very rude and abrupt. ~Plus the delivery charges they add to the order is extremely high, this is why they can sell the items at a lower price.

Regarding our product prices, we are proud to offer high-quality products at competitive rates. We are primarily a business-to-business supplier specialising in bulk purchases. When purchasing in smaller quantities, such as single, the shipping costs can, but not always, make these items appear more expensive. This is due to the bulky nature of our products, which most couriers find very challenging to handle. Consequently, our prices reflect the carrier charges rather than an attempt to increase our profit.
For businesses that buy in bulk, our goods are typically shipped on pallets or in larger parcels, resulting in significant savings on shipping costs.
If you were seeking to purchase a wheelie bin, please be aware that we are currently experiencing issues with our wheelie bin supplier. They are currently charging high shipping fees to send bins directly from their factory, as couriers are reluctant to handle such large items. We are addressing this issue urgently to improve our customers' experience. The recent administration of Tuffnells, a major bulky parcel carrier, has further complicated matters, as few carriers are willing to handle bulky freight.

Excellent quality storage and customer service.
I placed a small order for storage boxes. They appear to be excellent quality and will be buying more. Discovered one of the boxes was damaged in transit some days later but after a brief call/email, a replacement was sent within 48 hours.
Can't fault the service, friendly and professional.

Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service. Ordered product almost 3 months ago and originally told expect delivery in 8 weeks. Over 10 weeks later I'm the one chasing Plastor for updates and I'm still waiting with no response from the team. Wouldn't use again.

Regarding your bespoke made-to-order cabinet. We are very sorry you feel this way and please understand this is not the normal experience for most of our customers at all, unfortunately service fell short for you on this occasion.
It must be stated that we did respond to all of your emails with the most up-to-date information we had from our supplier.
I have been informed you were also quoted 10 weeks (not 8?) and we are now in week 11. Your cabinet is bespoke and made-to-order, we were given the lead time from our supplier and to be honest we (Plastor) are not pleased with their delay (as it reflects unfairly on us and also not what you were expecting either).
The manufacturer of your trucks is in fact a leading one of its kind in the UK. The factory had a major fire and they are still finding their way with new premises. You can read about it here: https://redhillmanufacturing.co.uk/catching-up-on-the-last-12-months/
However, we were unaware they are powder coating your products off-site which seems to have caused the delay. Your goods have been built and are at the final stage.

Great customer service and sales personnel
Needed two different types of container and varying sizes of each type and needed them in under 5 working days. On-line it looked as if we couldn’t get quite a lot of the order in time but after calling their sales team a very helpful individual sorted for everything we needed and had it all delivered on time by just changing a few container colours which I readily agreed to. Very impressed and of course a knowledgeable human voice on the end of a telephone is always the best form of client service.
