Plumbers 4U London Avis 

We had a long standing issue with one of our taps in the bathroom. A number of plumbers came in to check but could not fix. One even suggested replacing the entire tap unit but did not turn up to do the job. Then I contacted Plumbers 4U and they promptly sent Kayvan who is also a gas technician to have a look. In less the 30 mins Kayvan understood the issue, rectified it without having to replace the entire tap unit.

The plumber who came to my rescue is called Kayvan.
Kayvan was a true gentleman and he complted the job with professionalism. Kayvan did an outstanding job in fixing the leakage in my kitchen .

Initial call was made on 29.08 around 23.55pm. I was told to call back in the morning as there was no drivers active.

I called back around 09.00 and booked for an Emergency Plumber to come and repair the leak that had developed late on the 29.08. I was advised should be there in 3hrs of which my girlfriend chose to work from home as the leak needed managing to avoid long term damage.

I called back around 12.30 and was advised should be there shortly. I called around 13.30 still nothing. I am then told plumber will call my girlfriend but nothing. Around 15.00 I then call back and advised driver was held up but just about to leave his current job. 16.00 nothing.

Finally after 7hrs +, I had a call from the plumber who advised he hadn’t advised he was just finishing and he would likely be another 1-2hrs. This was then reduced to 30mins as by this point was incredibly frustrated but guess what plumber arrived after 17.30.

We were then charged £199 for the service based on 1.5hrs work which in reality was 1.25hrs at best. I will however say plumber was apologetic for the miscommunication and works completed to satisfactory manner.

For a company that specialise in plumbing and advertise emergency plumbing services, I would be embarrassed by the levels of performed. Through general negligence and lack of clarity my girlfriend spent almost 9hrs waiting in doors and even more comical was I had been to London and back and beat the plumber still. Only after 16.00pm did I start getting calls back.

No apology from Plumbers4u either, this despite me offering them a chance before I write a review.

Would strongly avoid this company if urgent works required. Based on my experience they have no regard to its customers.

The plumbers are the best at what they do. I wouldn't think twice about recommending them as the first people to call when I need a skilled plumber to figure out what's wrong. They communicate quickly and professionally, make sure everyone knows what to expect, and do a great job of assessing and fixing plumbing problems on-site.

Job no L4L-241934, PLumber attended at my property, damaged the toilet lid. He removed it and took away the toilet seat and lid promising a replacement will be ordered. Till date ,no replacement toilet seat and lid,my property is still with the plumber.

Can't recommend. Booked me in for a job to fit and buy a shower screen. They got the wrong day then called to explain that they weren't going to make it on that day. When I explained in a slightly irritated manner to ask when they were going to come and what they were going to do the guy on the phone who had called me put the phone down on me saying "use someone else." That's what l will do! The company needs to get people who know how to deal with members on the public on their phones! Very bad impression created.

Great service, Franklin from plumbers4u came and he was brilliant, he quickly diagnosed the problem. The leak was fixed faster and the price they charged was good.

Avoid at all cost. Charged me £144 for a 5 mins visit for a check up and said the work cannot be done because he has no equipment. I have to pay at the spot to avoid troubles.

We contacted Plumber4U requesting a shower repair near the beginning of August (close to 2 months ago). It has still not been fixed as we approach October.

The plumber - Murat - first came on 11th August to look at the job. He removed the shower temperature valve using a drill and said he would order a replacement part.

I asked how long this would take, and he replied saying less than 2 weeks.

I’ve called Plumbers4U 7 times since this date as no one has contacted me about this job. I've also sent an email, as they've suggested, but no reply. I’ve been told the part has been ordered, the part is on hold, that the job shouldn’t be taking so long, that people are chasing, that I’ll receive a call back. None of this seems to be happening.
