Thank you for your expert advice when I didn’t know where to turn for help. I’ll put into practice the use of fish blood on my vine and pruning as you suggested.

Was delighted to receive such unexpected prompt delivery for a birthday gift. A fig tree in excellent health (even boasting a fig!). The lady at Pomona Fruits was so helpful and made sure the gift was on time.

I bought a Saturne peach tree because my son and his wife were having a baby and the description stated that children enjoy picking the fruit. After only 2 years there were so many fruit this year that I had to thin about 20 leaving 7 well spaced. My 2 year old granddaughter did pick the peaches! I have bought many other fruit trees from Pomona and now have a thriving orchard of apples, pears, apricots, cherries, plums, damsons mulberry figs. I can recommend this company for the quality of the trees. We are in Cheshire so not a mild or sheltered climate here.

Great service, parcel arrived quickly, packaged well. I found Pomona Fruits a delight to deal with & nothing was too much trouble.

I have bought lots of cordon fruit trees from Pomona over a span of about 12/15 years…..every tree has been delivered in excellent condition. What I like about this company is that even years down the line you can ring up and ask for advise about a tree you bought maybe 6 years or more earlier, as I have done with regard to pruning, and they have always been polite and helpful.

yes good range, good delivery but if something goes wrong sending pictures and script will be ignored and when you ring being nice put on to the team who dont care. buy by all means but dont expect any customer service back up. you will be treated like its your fault.

My husband bought this in January 2023. We planted it on a South-facing fence in our small North London garden. In 2024, it flowered and gave one fruit which did not really ripen but fell off. This year (2025), it flowered in the coldest, most miserable weather I can remember since we moved here. I thought we wouldn't get any fruit as there did not seem to be any pollinating insects around. But lo and behold, it has produced 10 fruit! They are fairly small but juicy and sweet. What an amazing tree! I must add that we kept it watered every 2-3 days when we saw it wilting in the heatwave we're having. I also gave it 2 handfuls of Organic Extra fertiliser in the early spring. That must have helped. Still, we must thank Pomona for the quality of the tree they provided. It is a superb tree, which has managed to make good growth and produce fruit in 2 years. Do not hesitate to buy this variety.

Excellent firm. Excellent product (Micromesh Pest and Wind Barrier). This was a repeat purchase as we were so pleased with the first which was highly effective and is being used again this year. It is still in good condition, but we have extended our growing area and needed an additional one.
There was a problem when the courier lost the goods in transit, but this was sorted out by Pomona efficiently and with great courtesy. Thank you Pomona.

Plants arrived well packaged and are doing great. Overall great service!

their two shrubs i ordered - tayberry and boysenberry are in terrible condition and they refuse to do anything about it saying that i have undernourished them. theirs are the only ones like this, the rest of my plants are thriving. kept trying to phone me even when i said i don't answer unknown numbers. really wish i'd read the reviews first.

My patio mirabella plum tree has just arrived in perfect condition. Extremely well packed and still lovely and damp. I look forward to eating the plums!!
Good courier who had clearly taken notice of the live plants notice and took care not to damage the tree in transit.

Your reply is misleading and contains numerous errors.
You did not point out the tree was purchased 18 months ago in your email, you simply stated it was out of guarantee. When I queried this for clarification you did not respond. It is true that plants can fail for numerous reasons including environmental factors. However, I sent you photographic evidence that this tree has suffered graft failure which is your responsibility. It is interesting that other similar trees purchased from a different nursery and planted at the same time and location are thriving and not suffering from ‘environmental factors’. Furthermore, you cannot claim the tree ‘was obviously healthy when I received it’ as it is impossible for you to know that was the case (please note I mentioned the second tree to you in my email that you did not respond to). Your gesture of goodwill was noted but is inadequate redress to a problem that you are now exacerbating.

I bought a bundle of 18 fruit hedge plants from Pomona fruits to run along the edge of my allotment paths these consisted of three types of fruiting hedges, inc hazel nut and plum! Sadly after three years of growth no sign of any buds, nuts, or blossom have shown despite trees looking healthy, just lots of leaves and branches? Now I have been told by the company that I have to wait a further six years???? I am an old age pensioner in my middle seventies so probably will never see any fruit! I WILL NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE EVER AGAIN.

Bought 3 cordon fruit trees last year. On arrival, 2 looked great but a victoria plum looked very poor. Contacted Pomona who agreed that I should wait till this spring to see if the tree recovered. It is now looking excellent and all 3 trees are growing perfectly. Pomona were absolutely correct and I shouldn't have doubted them! They handled my case totally professionally and for that reason alone, I would both recommend them and use them again myself

We ordered 24 Asparagus Crowns on the 6th March they were due to be delivered sometime in April/May when stock was available. Chased order up on the 14th April to be informed they would be sent out after the Easter Holidays. This was great as we were away on holiday over Easter. 30th April received email saying Asparagus Crowns were now in stock. Call to find when out order would be delivered, only to find they said the order out on the 16-17th April whilst we were away, which we never received. There was no notification sent to us either by email or text about a delivery date. If we had known we could have arrange for a neighbour to take the package in. They will not refund or replace the items we ordered and implied it was all our fault as we were away on holiday.
Very poor customer care.

Together with their delivery partner DX, the service and quality shown by Pomona was absolutely first class. The selection and ordering process was clear and straightforward, an enquiry about a delivery date was promptly and courteously answered, delivery was absolutely on time with a pleasant driver and the plants were in perfect condition and superbly packaged. Thank you Pomona.

Ordered a patio fruit tree. It arrived in top quality condition. Very well packed. Great service from this company.

The company were great at replacing without any hesitation, raspberry canes that had failed to bud last year. Rather than replacing them immediately they suggested sending them at the appropriate time of year to ensure the best chance of success. This was to be almost a year after my request. Without any reminding from me they sent the replacements at the right time and look to be viable canes with buds already established. Very impressed.

Received an unsolicited mail order brochure.

Ordered and realised that I would be away for delivery , contact customer services and they were so helpful keeping the delivery until I was going to be back . Absolutely top notch packing good received looked fabulous , let’s hope for great crops !
