Portion sizes have shrunk so much at Prezzo, I actually thought they'd mistakenly brought me a child's meal this evening. I don't eat large portions anyway, but the Arrabiata was so small I was still hungry afterwards. The pasta was also overcooked and disintegrated when on my fork. Disappointed in Prezzo, they used to be pretty good but not anymore it seems.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent and tentative but it was so cold upstairs that I had to keep my coat on and zipped up while eating my dinner while still feeling cold.

Recently our order with Prezzo was cancelled on 30/12/25 via Deliveroo. I was dissatisfied about how the cancellation was handled.
Firstly I received an email informing me our order had been cancelled because of one item not being available. At no point did the man I speak to on the phone offer a substitute and when I made a request to replace the missing item I was rejected. I was then told if I still wanted the remaining items, I would have to go out of my way to collect it myself. Naturally I refused and even if I wanted to collect the food items, I did not have transportation. My requests to replace the missing food item and to have the food delivered was once again denied. To make matters worse, I was told a blatant lie that Prezzo does not deliver regardless of the fact that I had ordered through Deliveroo and have evidence to contradict his claim. As a result of their incompetence I am now financially worse off until the refund is paid. I have never felt so insulted in my life and didn’t even get an apology for their shambles of a service.

Farnborough Prezzo 21st December 2025 - Food was awful, poor ingredients used, one of the worst meals I have had out.
I tried the Christmas calzone - it was mainly dough filled with a few tiny processed cubed pieces of turkey. I returned a plate full of dough.
My partner had the chicken caesar salad. The chicken was in breadcrumbs - it appeared to be a cut up processed chicken in breadcrumb steak from the local supermarket !! There was no grated cheese ... we weren't even offered parmesan with our meals. I used to be regular visitor to this particular restaurant but they have lost my custom.

Do not waste your hard earned money at this restaurant!!!
I don't usually waste time leaving reviews, I just don't choose to use the restaurant ever again but this time I feel my time wont be wasted, if it helps other families choose were not to eat!!!
I took my family to PREZZO Gainsborough to treat them before Christmas, having eaten here before 2020 and had a wonderful meal, oh how things have changed, We waited 30 minutes before someone took our drinks order, a can and glass arrived at the table ( we pore our drinks in Italian restaurants now days), paying £3.95 for a small can of diet coke is a joke, then we waited a further 20 minutes to have the food order taken, then a further 30 minutes wait before it arrived, My daughters food was supposed to come with gravy but didn't instead she waited another 15 mins for it to arrive obviously her food was cold at this point, my wife's ravioli was so salty it was unpalatable she opted for a pizza thinking there was no way they could get this wrong, I find it very sad when an Italian cook cant make a pizza taste better than a very popular American fast food shop, when we ordered the deserts my four children ordered the luxury doughnuts with chocolate sauce, when the doe balls (bread balls) cooked within an inch of there life arrived with Nutella sandwich spread, although my son did have enough jaw strength to chew through the hard doe did actually enjoy them but were they worth £8.50? I think not, my wife opted for the cheesecake and requested not to have the cherry sauce poured over it, after a lengthy conversation with the waiter informing us the cheesecake didn't actually come with the sauce it was just for the picture, we found it very odd when my wife's desert arrived with cherry sauce poured all over it. a three course meal took 3 hours of our precious time, enduring a bush tucker trial would have taken less time and the food would probably have tasted of something at least, less than satisfactory food, now to the special offer kids eat free!!! one child's meal for each adults main so we paid for three adults mains for three kids meals free £135 was a bit of a shock for dreadful food and service,
with members of staff side eying each other when we gave our honest but polite feedback.
my advice would be to cook something nice at home don't waste three house of your time for dreadful service and terrible food...
there are plenty of restaurants out there were you can enjoy a quality family meal but definitely not this one
with stomach ache for all the day after...

Went to Peterborough prezzo. The main course was good. Beef with asparagus. Monica, Katie and Sophia were friendly. Nice place. Pouring with rain outside and they let us stay until it stopped even though we had long since finished our food.

Ordered home a pizza and chips, at 27£ pizza I was expecting something that can eat 2 ppl but was extremly small, both pizza and chips came cold and the delivery was done in 2 hours

Dined with a friend food was ok but the main problem was not accepting cash ! I know card is more popular than cash these days but you should have a choice and not just for your convenience

We visited the Gainsborough (Lincs) restaurant. We were a party of 8. The restaurant was quite busy with a nice warm atmosphere.
We were served drinks quickly & all came correct. The food order was taken including starters, mains with a few sides. All came hot and looked very appealing. Everyone enjoyed their meal and there was no waste. We had a mixture of pizza, spaghetti bolognaise, lasagna & burger, all were excellent. All in all we enjoyed thee evening out & the waitress, Lizzie, was very attentive, polite and always with a smile on her face.

I had a disappointing experience at Prezzo Banstead on Thursday. I visited with my son for his 15th birthday, accompanied by eight family members. We waited at least 45 minutes before our order was taken, as only one staff member appeared to be serving. While the food met expectations, I requested that the alcohol be placed on a separate bill, which was questioned by the waitress. There were also significant delays between courses, and at 21:30, when we asked for dessert menus, our main course plates had not yet been cleared. Upon receiving the menu, we were informed that only ice cream was available, as the kitchen was closed, despite posted hours indicating closure at 23:00. Our group was not advised of this in advance. When we were ready to pay, we needed to locate the waitress ourselves, and a service charge was included on the bill. Based on this experience, I do not plan to return. The waitress was extremely rude and dismissive.

Disappointed after our visit to Broughton branch today. Staff were good but there were not enough of them so service was slow. However the worst was the food. We have been visiting this restaurant since it opened but this was the last time we will waste our money. The lasagne was always my favourite but they have changed the recipe and it was so unpleasant I left it. Like many they seem to have reduced the quality of the ingredients and are charging more.. Children’s meals were over cooked and three slices of cucumber dosnt make it healthy. The new exciting rainbow doughnuts were just over cooked dough balls with choc sauce and hundred and thousands. The wi-fi is non existent so you can’t use any of the offers they send you - what a waste of time. All very disappointing, this used to be a quality restaurant with a good varied selection but its lost its way. Goodbye Prezzo!!

My husband ordered donuts for dessert - expecting something delicious. They arrived solid, cold and tasteless ( I tried a bite too). The staff didn't argue when he sent them back, and deducted the cost from the bill, all politely done. But what was the kitchen thinking sending out something like that? Rest of the meal was ok and promptly served.

Went tonight in spalding, service, staff, drinks, cleanliness all good. I had the spicy hot regular pizza. It was poor, not cheesy, or much sauce, topping fell well short of the edge but worse, it was not all spicy, not the meat, sparse as it was, nor the few bits of red chilli. It was very, very disappointing indeed. My first and last time in a prezzo. I asked for tobasco sauce, and was offered balsamic.

1/The food was delivered nice and hot, and the service was excellent, making for a very good eating out experience.
2/ Unfortunately the prices of everything had increased substantially which was probably why there was only a very few people in there, and even though we had a buy one meal and get the other for a £1.00 because of the huge uplift in the prices it was still really expensive.
3/ With the very pricey menu bill they had the audacity to put a large service charge on the bill which I requested to be removed which they did and we tipped what we felt was an appropriate sum.
4/ The size of the lasagne was more like a kiddy portion than an Adults!!
5/ We will now consider looking at other restaurant outlets so to the directors of Prezzo look what has now happened to Pizza Hut reduce your prices or possibly face their current situation????

The food and service was great. It's the first time going to the Grantham Prezzo and we will return. It wasn't overly busy in there but you could still see how hard everyone was working keeping on top of the cleaning and service. We were looked after by a lovely lady who was very attentive. The food was good and we didn't have to wait too long.

Nice and friendly , always good here .
Brewery quarter , Cheltenham.

They don't take cash only cards. Was given cash as a b’day present and was going out for a family meal. I don't want to be forced to use cards .
We tried to check the bill at the time of payment however waitress wanted us to pay before my son could check properly. We should have had 50% on the veggie meals. The applied discount was a lump amount and very difficult to calculate. After we returned home and fully checked, we have not been given the correct discount, and there is one item on the bill we never received (it was a free item).

So we couldn't pay cash, we've been overcharged, they refused AMEX payment, the bill is difficult to calculate and they have the audacity to add a service charge to the bill!!!!!

No plans to return again - there are far better places to eat than this place.

Was subjected to a very embarrassing encounter with the restaurant manager.
Arrived at my booked time to find a very long queue. After @15 mins people started to go in but stopped when myself and husband got to the front. Was told by 2 passing staff that we’d be seated shortly. Got the attention of the manager and tried to explain we’d been queuing for 20mins and wanted to know when we’d be seated. She was instantly on the defensive being very sarcastic asking if we’d been stood in the exact spot for this time. I said no of course not but our booking was for 7pm and it was now 7.20pm. At this point she accused me of being aggressive towards her and she said she was refusing us entry because she wasn’t having herself or her staff treated in an aggressive manner. I told her we had a pre paid for voucher that my mother had bought us for an anniversary but she said she still wasn’t letting us in. I was very upset as there were students in the queue behind us that I teach and I never shouted or even raised my voice, I only asked a simple question based on it being 20mins later than my booked reservation time. She eventually allowed us to be seated stating very loudly that it was only because of the pre booked voucher. I broke down in tears because I felt so humiliated for something I had not done. She came over after 10mins to take our drinks order and again said she felt I was being aggressive and attacking her, then proceeded to say she didn’t want to spoil our evening so happy vibes. No apology but still making her point which had, was and did ruin our evening. If it wasn’t for the money my mother had spent we’d have walked away when she first attacked us at the door. I felt the rest of the evening we were being punished because there were excessive long periods between courses. We spent 2.45hrs on a meal time that should have been half this time.

We visited the Prezzo restaurant in Witham last Saturday.
The best part of our visit was undoubtedly the staff all of whom were attentive and very polite.
Our main server was Goran who served each dish with a smile and was happy to engage with us about the food offer and his recommendations. he was really great!

My favourite Prezzo is in Trowbridge. Always greeted with a warm friendly smile. We have been served by Andreea
several times now, she is helpful, polite and sweet, Even on busy days she makes sure that the meal is good and ask if we need anything. Full marks
