Unrivalled quality and design, better than much Italian tailoring I've owned. Private White are an absolute credit to British fashion, and clearly take joy in producing outstanding quality clothes with an eye for detail. Beautiful materials, with no expense spared on zips, pockets, etc, unlike some brands I used to buy, but then along came the money men...............Long may PW continue. I think this jacket will outlive me!

Product came with a hole in it and customer service didn't help. Poor quality and bad management

As experienced by many others, my order was cancelled. I did not hear from PWVC for 2 weeks. Upon my inquiry my order was cancelled without further information except that the product was sold out. Changing my order to a different color was not possible. I was told to place a new order at full price although my order was at a reduced rate. Great products but ridiculous support and shop maintenance at this price tag.

Have a number of jackets and coats from Private White VC. Quality and care that goes into each product is excellent. Materials and details are always premium. Customer service is helpful.

I've bought two (different) jackets from them over the last year. I love the style of the jackets and the quality is superb - also it is worth checking out their sales as my most recent jacket was less than half price....overall I'm a big fan of their products.

Very very bad customer service
I made 4 orders in less than one year. Each time the order was cancelled few weeks later. I received a very nice email telling that the product was currently out of stock.
I think they can make money by keeping my several hundred euros during few weeks.
Highly disappointing.
I don’t recommend Private White V.C.

I now have eight different items of clothing all of the highest quality. Two Ventile Harrington, a Ventile Mac, a linen summer jacket, a Ventile Parka, a Park Jacket, A Pea Coat, and awaiting the arrival of a Zip up cord over shirt. I honestly can’t fault anything from the speed of delivery, to communication, to refunds. Yes the clothing is not cheap but it’s made using the finest materials and hardware and it’s made in the UK with people earning a good living wage. It’s not throw away clothing it’s items you can wear for years and years. No plastic zips and weak stitching to be seen but military grade zips and built like a tank.

Bought a dufflecoat which was on sale. Item arrived well within the promised delivery window. It’s an absolutely stunning piece: materials and details are all 100% based on this coat I will be sure to order more!

I bought a Private White Jacket over four years ago, and there aren't any loose threads or any signs of anything failing, despite heavy usage. Unfortunately, I've slightly expanded and needed a larger size.

By chance I had a meeting nearby and booked an appointment. Turned up early and was greeted by the owner walking his dog. He asked if I would like a tour, and I spent the next 30 minutes seeing how all of the garments are made by hand. Of course, there are sewing machines. But the garments are made traditionally, and I could see why they last.

I also wanted an overcoat, which didn't quite fit perfectly as the sleeves were too long (a common problem for me). They got someone down and measure me up, and offered to make the alterations then and there within an hour! (for a small fee).

I decided to get the coat shipped, which turned up the next day!

Now these garments are not cheap, but you are paying for quality British craftmanship, not just a designer label. On top of that they are nice people!

I've not been offered (nor expect) any discount or offer for writing this review. I just believe in celebrating what's good in this country, and this deserves shouting about.

Ordered The Permanent Style Bridge Coat and got it within a week. It's beautiful with top notch quality and well designed and tailored. Would definitely shop here again.

Great products, excellent customer service.

I ordered my third PWVC jacket last month - the Bellows Bomber. Dispatch was super quick and arrived by DPD 2 days later. I didn’t have chance to open the box as I had to go away for work so a few weeks later I eagerly opened the posh box and at first glance was delighted.
After a couple of days wearing I noticed that there were several loose threads stuck in the zip and also that the thread to the bottom left of the zip was coming away. Not the usual quality I was accustomed to from PWVC and have to admit for over £500 i was pretty disappointed.
Contacting customer service was even more disappointing, asked me to send it back to them for a ‘repair’. I thought spending this kind of money would guarantee a premium service, both purchase and after sales but I have to say I feel let down. Repairs take time so I asked why they couldn’t send me a replacement; I sent a detailed photograph to them showing the defect.
Sadly they declined my request so I sent the item back for a full refund.
Never again PWVC, never again.

I bought a jacket at their sample sale only to realise that one shoulder was shorter than the other. I contacted the support service and they said to me that I should have checked it better before buying and that they would have not done anything. Highly disappointing. I will never use them again.

Have ordered two separate items from Private White VC in the last month and the service was excellent. The orders were despatched quickly and were well packaged. The quality of the clothes is remarkable, particularly the finish and attention to detail. Not cheap, but you get something that will last a lifetime.

Swift service, ordered on the 16th, shipped on the 18th, arrived on the 19th with free overnight international shipping.
A few hours after I created a profile and placed the order, ads for 10% off on my next order if I registered started appearing. Contacted the company about this, a courteous employee made sure a 10% refund is back in my account 4 days later.

I ordered an over-shirt from Private White and was happily surprised by the quality of the product, I am really chuffed with my new shirt, it’s perfect for travelling especially when travelling through different climates (going from cold to tropical and vice versa, e.g. with layovers in Singapore or Dubai). Even for slight more informal business meetings it is perfects. The product was delivered on time, in 4 business days. But it would have appreciated if they kept me better informed about the process.

I really don´t get all the negative reviews on here!! I live in Germany, ordered on a Thursday and the items arrived the following Monday. I ordered the same pieces in several sizes and returned the ones, that didn´t fit. Within the same week i was refunded for the returned items. This is fantastic and fast customer service by any standard. The clothes´ fit and quality is amazing!

The quality of the garments is outstanding. However, the customer service is appalling. For the third time within 13 months, I received a half-hearted apology via Email stating that there was an issue with the warehouse/IT-system. As a result, PrivateWhite was unable to fulfil the order placed via their website.

The customer support rep just offers a 15% discount code for a future order and a refund, and just leaves it at that.

Not trying to make amends, no promise on working on these re-occurring issues.
