Proplates Avis 

Needed a custom size sticker plate but with a black border and these guys came through! Bespoke made to order plates within days 👌🏾

Couldn’t ask for better honesty, quick shipping, helpful staff, and really good quality plates, cheaper ones on eBay etc but the quality and customer service is appalling, will only ever get plates from PROPLATES, as I know I’ll never be disappointed

Excellent service, quality plates and about half the price of many merchants you'll find on the first page of a Google search. Superb all round and I'll definitely be recommending them to anyone who asks for a plates maker on the web.

Company has definitely gone downhill recently. Tried contacting them via email and messenger. Responses are slow (talking days, not hours) and sometimes there’s no response at all. Messages are seen but just left on read instead of being replied to. As of yet I still haven’t received my order. They used to be good for plates a few years ago, but with the current complete lack of customer service, I can’t recommend anyone uses them at the moment. If you do have issues, you’ll be waiting weeks for a response or a resolution

I've used pro-plates twice before without too much issue but things seem to have gone fairly badly downhill. Placed an order over 10 days ago, still no plates. Response to email takes in excess of a day, phone number doesn't work. What's worse is the dishonesty, I was sent tracking information on Friday after chasing but nothing had actually left the warehouse, a barcode had just been generated to make it seem like a problem with the courier, not with pro-plates. Eventually the package went to Despatch bay 4/5 days later and now sits there until they decide to hand over to Hermes.

If I ever receive the plates that are now apparently with despatch bay, but not yet with Hermes as the package is 'delayed at a national hub', I may adjust my review, but can quite happily say I will NEVER use this company again. Utterly terrible aftersales service and turnaround time.

This is the second set of plates i have ordered from pro plates. The first arrived with no issue but the second were printed on the wrong format. I used the online message board to let the company know and send a photo of the plates to show what the issue was. Louise and Danielle responded to me within 24 hours and new plates are already sent out with no quibbles. Simple mistake but easily rectified, I would recommend proplates to anyone.

My original review is below and there are certain issues which really haven't been addressed and broadly the comments are still valid. However, Danielle finally sorted out a plate for me and it is absolutely fine. Therefore, in fairness I have revised the grading and although it took 3 months to resolve, we got there in the end. As an aside, the original order is still with Spanish Customs.

Appalling customer service. As other reviewers have pointed out, there is no telephone point of contact as the number advertised on their website does not work.
I ordered a plate to be sent to Spain and was told there would be no customs issues. There are. Because of incorrect documentation, Spanish Cusoms are holding the package. I do not have the documents to send them. Proplates will not reply to my emails requesting proper customs paperwork so the plate will have to be returned and I will be cancelling my order.

Couldn’t rate this company higher or I would have !!

2nd time I have used pro plates and they haven’t disappeared website is easy to use and delivery times were spot on

10/10 recommend to anyone to use

Had my plates arrived can't fault them at all and they look great on my audi thank you so much proplates 10/10

Just really poor. Slow to arrive and so poorly packaged that the plates were damaged beyond being usable.
Timeline example: I waited a long time for my order, finally received the plates but badly damaged, emailed proplates to complain, ordered replacement plates from elsewhere, received the replacement plates and fitted them on my car BEFORE proplates even replied to my email. Got the refund I asked for but there was no apology or explanation.

Following an issue with the initial plates we were sent I can report that we've now received the plates we'd expected.

It did take a little longer to rectify the mistake and replace the plates that i'd have liked - but they tolerated my abrupt emails and we're professional throughout.

I can't review the product yet as it still hasn't arrived. I have alerted ProPlates customer support who have so far failed to respond.

ProPlates contract with Despatch Bay who, in-turn, contract with Hermes. Hermes lie when they say they have tried to deliver an item when they in fact haven't bothered.

My car was at the delivery address waiting for the plate to arrive on the day the tracking said it would be there. I stood outside the delivery address for 2 hours across the deliver window, only to get an alert stating that 'an attempt was made to deliver the item, but nobody was there to receive it'. This is simply not true.

I then had to leave and drive home (illegally) without a front plate as the delivery wasn't going to be attempted for another 24 hours.

I'll update my review about the quality of the plate if I ever receive it, and if I hear from ProPlates customer support with an explanation.

In the meantime I recommend they review their courier partners to avoid reviews like this.

Really quick and great quality plates. I ordered the 4d shaded plates and love the quality and finish!
