I asked them to do a clutch replacement for me and asked if I could get the vehicle back early because my wife, having a long term illness had a medical appointment some distance away. They were happy to try. However my wife had a medical emergency that day, which made her miss the appointment arranged. This made me late picking up the vehicle. They did not know that we had a medical emergency but were just as cheerful even when I got to the workshop late. They have always been happy to help and I have never heard the words sorry or no, always positive.

I took my new car in as I thought it had been mis-sold and they ran diagnostics checks for me and took photos so I had evidence to return the car and get my money back. I couldn’t have asked them to do more than they did. Thank you so much!

Prompt service. I got a puncture in my tyre, and rang protyre to make an appt to have it fixed if possible, or a new tyre. My appt was later that day, and the tyre was fixed while I waited. The service given was polite, an explanation of what caused the puncture was given, and I left very pleased.

Took our vehicle in to have a tyre repaired as a nail was embedded in it. Repair completed but the tyre blew out the very next day. Recovery technician commented this could have been due to incorrect repair and was, in fact, quite dangerous. Ended up buying an all new tyre from them as well. Contacted customer service to discuss a better resolution, never heard back. [UPDATE FOLLOWING REPLY BELOW: The reply is from the same customer service rep who was already contacted - and chased - about this case. No action taken by the area manager. I don't therefore read it as a serious attempt to resolve the issue. (186496)]

I am giving one star only due to the bad and stressful experience I recently had. My car was left for MOT after it was checked for main things(like discs, exhaust, brake pads etc (that have been changed with another garage). When I pick my car up, I was told it’s dangerous to be driven (for a part that almost all cars are missing if it’s older than 5 years) and the MOT stated my car is NOT allowed to be on the road. After consulting with two other garages, they laughed and said that for the last 25 years of their experience they have never seen a car to be failed on MOT for the reason stated on the MOT certificate but also the car to be not safe on the road. Save yourself money, stress and headaches and do not visit that garage.

Tyres were sourced at a good price and fitted at the agreed time. No problems at all.
