Efficient, practical, flexible.
Friendly, practical, organised and efficient.
And, flexible too. I had everything booked in - replacement tyres, brake disc tweakimg etc and then the MOT. My wife ended up being away and I needed to take my son to his GP at midday. Protyre kindly worked out a plan to do some of the work earlier than planned so I could pick up the car and drop it off later. They also managed to get the MOT done earlier as I had other logistical issues later in the day.
A big thank you to the team.
I'm not going to be going to a different garage anytime soon!

Unable to repair simple fault
My car failed its MOT because of an indicator side repeater not working. Despite having fixed an identical fault previously, Protyre said they could not get the part to fix it. So I had to find another garage to do it and return to Protyre for a retest - a real time constrained hassle. The part was easily obtained and fixed.
I have been going to Protyre for a long time for MOTs and servicing but in future cannot risk taking it somewhere that cannot fix simple MOT faults. Sadly they have lost a customer.

Booking was easy enough
Booking was easy enough. My car was booked in for 8.30 AM and when arriving at 8.25 everything was shut with no one arriving until 8.30. My car eventually went on the ramp at 8.45. No communication other than giving me the pass certificate and it came away having picked up debris in the wheel, which then may the most horrific screeching and grinding sound.
Having communication from the tester about the car and it being a little more prompt (as I was told to be on booking) would have got a 5 star review.
I appreciate that they were busy but it did not allow me to ask any questions.

Took ages
When I got there I was told it would take an hour. I returned a little earlier than an hour to find the bays empty and my van was still in the same place I left it . They started when I got back . It took 1.5 hours in total to change 2 tyres

found what i wanted on your website, but it said limited availability and to make enquiry. i did that on both Wells and Midsomer Norton sites, but no response. Also sent complaint to your HQ and also no response. Tried phoning both local sites om several occasions and no pickup
