Save your money and go elsewhere. Ordered two sets of plates from two different companies. Expected a quick delivery, 3 weeks later and still getting asked for documents- only after I chased. Save your time and money. Go elsewhere

By law, we cannot dispatch registration plates until valid proof of entitlement and ID are received. Requests for these documents are issued automatically after ordering and must be satisfied before any production can begin.
Delays only occur where the required documents are not provided or are submitted in an unacceptable format. We cannot legally proceed without them, regardless of delivery expectations or comparisons with other suppliers.
Once correct documentation is received, orders are typically produced and dispatched promptly.
We appreciate this can be frustrating, but these checks are mandatory across the industry and are in place to prevent misuse.

Removing a private plate
Trying to get plates to revert my car back to pre private plate number.
QuickPlates will not issue plates without a v5 etc. But once you change the car registration you cannot drive the car until new plates are on. As per DVLA instructions.
Explained this to quick plates, offered various alternatives ie current v5 old v5 with previous plate etc but they will not budge and assure me it’s fine to drive around with old plates even though DVLA states clearly that this is breaking the law.
Go elsewhere. A week of back and forward emails wasting time. Ordered from another online company and it arrived next day.

Your first email to us was sent on the 7th of November, and today is the 10th — we were closed over the weekend, so it certainly hasn’t been a week of back-and-forth emails.
As a DVLA Registered Number Plate Supplier, we are legally required to see valid documentation before despatching any number plates. This is not a matter of opinion or flexibility — it’s the law set out by the DVLA, and we cannot (and will not) break it.
We understand it can be frustrating when you’re eager to get your new plates fitted quickly, but our priority must always be ensuring that all number plates we supply are 100% compliant with DVLA regulations.
