Qood installation process

After an initial hiccup with Quickline,s appointment booking system, the engineerJosh completed the installation quickly and checked that everything wss running well.

Being honest, since I was connected I’d had issues, I won’t go on about them as quickline are aware of them, and I believe that issues happen and it’s how they are resolved that matters.
Dan D and Kieron C were amazing, they listened to me moaning about the issues I’d had , but were sympathetic and understood why I was frustrated.
They were great chaps and were very professional in their approach and how they conducted themselves, they went through what the issue was and how they have resolved it.
I felt they really cared and and truly appreciated my frustrations they were 10/10 and hopefully they will get recognition for their efforts.
Hopefully what they have done today will resolve my issues and reinstall my faith in Quickline.

The basement reviewer

Nathan.M did an excellent install for us today down at East Cowton … very neat and tidy, and despite not actually requiring to go via the cellar, we had a bro moment enjoying the cellar together 🤣🥲🙏 … thanks again, very quick, very helpful, and very neat job.

A positive experience

The engineers who laid the cable last year were hard working and courteous, as were the two engineers who connected us from the road. Karl, who came to do the internal connection today, was first class - a great front man for the company. My only concern is that we were not made aware beforehand that there would be a box attached to the outside of the house, and another on the inside. It would have been much better if we had had time to give the location of the boxes some proper consideration, instead of having to make a rushed decision.

Fabulous customer service from…

Fabulous customer service from Quickline/Boundless for fixing our WiFi issues. Special thanks to Clare (Team Q) who went over and above to resolve our issues to Mark Wood the engineer who visited our home and fixed the problem. Been a customer for years and this is the first issue we have had and so pleased with how we have been treated and how quickly the issue was resolved

Early days with quickline

Early days with quickline, few problems getting the fibre lines to the house. Was finally hooked up yesterday by an engineer called Alvin, he was very courteous and considerate. He was keen to do a good job and wasn’t just rushing to get to the next job. Speeds are good too, and the price is about half of what my last provider was charging.

Quickline full fibre broadband installation

Background: On a previous visit, an engineer had arrived at about 2-30 and having assessed the job and, quite justifiably in my opinion, decided that the jib could not be completed by one person in the time available, told the office that it was a 2 person job and it needed to be commenced earlier in the day than mid afternoon.

Bob arrived on 13 April at getting on for 3 o'clock. Having done quite a bit of clutter removing and preplanning myself in advance, I showed him what he had to contend with.

To my great surprise, Bob(?)/Bobby(?) siezed the challenge and got stuck in. With me occasionally acting as his not very competent colleague on the other side of walls and partitions, he tackled the job with determination and competence.

5 o'clock, 6 o'clock and 7 o'clock all came and went and he continued, determined to finish the job. Having checked that all was in order (all of his work was neat and professional), he finished the job somewhere around 7-30.

Bob went the extra mile and, as a retired small company director and a manufacturing engineer, and as a customer, I was impressed. Thanks Bob, you're a star.

The connection we’ve been waiting for!

Our experience with WiFi has never been the best in the area with the added issue of our home layout making it difficult to get coverage in every room. When Quickline installed their cables and promised the fastest internet with guaranteed coverage in every room we were sceptical.
Our installer this evening, Kieran S problem solved and stayed until every room had a signal alongside answering all of our questions. Finn R also popped over to assist. Both lovely young gents who were a pleasure to deal with. It’s been an hour and so far so good. I’m so pleased and genuinely excited to finally experience a solid internet connection!

Excellent service

Minimum disruption, speedy installation and good instructions. Peter Watson and Bradley Holdroyd were great. Very polite when they arrived, explained in detail what they planned to do and even made changes to suit our layout.

Impressive connection service

I initially expressed interest in signing up with Quickline in March 2025 when they installed a cable to the telegraph pole opposite my home. In October 2025 I was told service would be available within the following month so placed an order. Service was eventually available on 27 March 2026. On 30 March I received a call to arrange installation on 14 April and was offered an upgrade at no extra cost to compensate me for the delay in connecting me up.
On 1 April an engineer called to install a cable to my house.
Quickline sent me a text on 13 April to say that the engineer would arrive between 8.30am and 1pm to connect me to their network. The engineer, Harrison S, rang to let me know that he was 40 minutes away. On arrival he explained what he was going to do and asked me where I wanted the equipment installing. Once the equipment was installed Harrison S explained the various lights on the equipment, drew my attention to the router name and password and offered to put my furniture back in place and checked the download and upload speeds to confirm that they were in accordance with my contract.
Harrison S was extremely professional, efficient, polite and carried out his work in accordance with the brief that he gave me.
Whilst I was extremely frustrated at the delay in being able to take advantage of Quicklines ultra fast broadband I am impressed with their performance in connecting me once the service became live on my street.
I look forward to working with Quickline.
