I concur with all the negative reviews. The so called update to the website, perhaps downgrade is a better word, is not fit for purpose. It takes an age to load a card and it is impossible to fit one... Voir plus

Change format back.

The new format is too small, fragmented and harder to follow than the previous one. Seems like some bright spark thought a change necessary - bad idea.

Racing Post online rebuild

I have been using Racing Post online for years and was very happy with it. This was change for changes sake with the designer losing sight of the site's fundamental purpose - to give as much information as possible as simply as possible - fail.
Atrocious and unhelpful site now and will not be using it in future.

The Last Post!

I always use the Posts' race card when trying to pick my horses but as from today I will use another online racing paper. Terrible decision.

Even racing podcasters are complaining.

Even racing podcasters are complaining.

About what, you ask? About the new Racing Post racecard format. At least they've united horse racing fans like never before.

Yes, we ALL agree that the new Racing Post racecard format is terrible. I know why they thought it would work: to make it look like the app. But the app and desktop site are different for a reason, and, frankly, if the app were more like the old desktop site, I'd say it was an improvement. The app is buggy and only serves a percentage of the required tasks for us dedicated form analyst types.

Why the RP decided to take something no-one complained about, was used to, which served its purpose pretty well, and TURN IT INTO SOMETHING SO MUCH WORSE, we will probably never know.

And I don't really care why. However, I've waited patiently for them to see the error of their ways, to acknowledge their failed attempt to try something new for whatever reason (and I'm guessing they didn't trial this with selected members first before rolling it out as it wouldn't have made it this far)... alas, the stinky new version remains.

I hope the people at the Racing Post check Trustpilot. And listen to racing podcasts that aren't their own. I hope they read our feedback here, park their egos (surely this can be the only reason they haven't listened to us yet!), and change the stinky new racecard format back to the non-stinky, perfectly nice and pleasant racecard format.

I admit I probably didn't appreciate how nice it was quite as much as I do now they've taken it away from me. I want my old racecards back, I want my old racecards back, I want my old racecards back.

They have until the end of the month to change the cards back or at least give us the option to use the old version instead, or I will cancel my monthly subscription fee, and I'd encourage others to do the same.

Ugh.

Why are the racing post trying to be…

Why are the racing post trying to be clever with the new updates. The old version was straight forward, quick and easy to read. It’s hard enough picking horses to win without all the new format. Just keep it clear and simple as it was, people haven’t got all day reading about the ins and outs of the horses backside.

Utter shambles

Utter shambles. The bright spark who thought revamping what was already very user friendly should be ashamed of themselves. Of course Racing Post will defend it. Who needs affordability checks, this will put you off betting for life.

Racing post was my go too source for racing information and I’m going to stop using it, The site is a complete mess that people can’t understand anymore, Your website was easy to navigate and everyone could understand it. All you have done now is create something that people will walk away from, I truly urge you to rethink because this isn’t something you needed to do.

Racing post new race card

Beggars belief, whose bright idea was it to alter the race card, from something that was easy to read, easy on the eye ,easy to understand to an incomprehensible load of hogwash.I wonder what the brief was. They'll get used to it in time, bit of bluster and they"ll be back ,sounds like the Labour Party taking us all for fools.
Well I'm off!!
Andrew ,65yrs old, betting since 1978
This nearly equals the frictionless affordability checks, and comes close to trying to fool us in to believing there is an actual betting market (since the market was removed from on course to the internet),You can fool all the people some of the time but not all of the people all of the time.
You"re trying your best to shoot yourself in the foot ,maybe with a little more effort you might succeed.I don't think you have thought this through and the wider consequences for the racing industry as a whole, people will walk.
May I suggest you revert back to the original card as soon as possible, for all our sakes.
Yours hopefully Andrew

Very very poor grayhound starters.

To day at Romford the dog in trap ( 3) was facing the wrong way but the stupid starter wave the flag to give the green light to start. I have said it before the fools with the flag you only have to look at the traps but some just walk around and wave the flag.
This is such a simple task but some can not even do that. The very best starters are the ones at Newcastle. They walk around stand in front of traps then wave the flag. Wake up Romford.

Dreadful experience .....

Dreadful experience .....customer service do not seem on the ball or interested to solve problems or keep subscriptions. I paid for the Ultimate but it did not load and when I informed them the best advice I got was to log out and log in again. I informed them this had not worked and heard nothing. So I phoned to cancel the subscription and this was done without comment on the issue.
