Richer Sounds - Bristol Avis 

As always, there are good deals and competitive prices, and you have the opportunity to try things before purchasing in the shop. I bought my Valerion Pro 2 projector, bracket, and 106-inch screen in Bristol. The whole team in the shop was very helpful and friendly. You can also take some items home to try before making a final decision.
The only thing that would be nice to have is a listening room set up to provide a more real-world experience. The specially treated acoustic room is nice, but most of us listen to music in normal living rooms. It would be helpful to have a room that better reflects a typical home environment.
Richard Sounds also seems to have more open-box deals available, which is good because, one way or another, customers can get better prices. Having a hi-fi room permanently set up with music playing would be perfect for sales, as it would give customers a better feeling of how the equipment would sound in their own homes

I was buying an amp and a subwoofer, he patiently answered all my questions, made recommendations, priced up various alternatives and processed everything perfectly. He even talked me through the specific set-up on the subwoofer I went for so I knew what to expect and why it was important for sound quality. Purchased a new TV through Richer Sounds. Really excellent service and the best price I could find for the model I wanted. I ordered on a Friday with their click and collect service and got an email on Monday around 9am saying the TV was ready to collect.

Hisense 55U7QT - rang the Bristol store and recieved good advice re model and size for my living room. Later ordered online but it wouldn't let me add my VIP club discount. Telesales sorted that for me. Delivered carefully two day later to my living room in perfect condition... and I got ther RS 6 year guarantee.
Only complaint is for Hisense not RS, in that all you get is a start up guide and no instructions on how to adjust the multiple menu options for the best picture. The factort settings were rubbish. Had to resort to the net and YouTube for that. After trial and error I am very please with the picture and the sound is not too bad.. quite listenable.
Very happy with my experience and would recommend RS to anyone.. in fact already done so to a friend.

We always buy our hi-fi and TV equipment from Richer Sounds because a) the range of equipment and pricing is great and b) the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and are prepared to go that extra mile to make sure that we feel comfortable with our purchases. We recently had an equipment demo in their "experience" room in Bristol, and Noah could not have been more helpful in taking a considerable amount of time guiding us through all the options regarding the marvellous Arcam amplifier and CD player which we eventually bought. Many thanks, Richer Sounds; and also for taking away and disposing of our broken CD player!!
