Richer Sounds - York Avis 

Everything perfect except for the actual payment.
Had to make several attempts to pay.
In every instance at the very end of the process my online banking came up “payment failed”
Spoke to Robin at London Bridge store and he really tried to help but the payments still failed.
Next day spoke to York store and again exceptional help with the guys actually running “dummy runs” whilst I stayed on the phone to see if there was a faulty payment system.
My daughter even tried to buy the tv using her iPad and using her own credit card and that also failed.
Eventually after I suggested giving my card details over the phone it was decided a bank transfer should be used which worked first time.
Nothing showed on any of my credit cards which I had tried to use as they all failed apart from Amex which had four pending transactions for five days!
These have now gone from the account but still it took two days to complete the process.
However top marks to Robin at London bridge store who even offered a small extra discount for 24 hours and the team at York who eventually succeeded in the purchase going through.
Delivery guys great asked where I wanted the tv and very polite and helpful.
The tv is great with an incredible picture.

Excellent experience from start to finish - happy with the tv

I bought a Sony Bravia8 and Sony theatre 6 from Richer in York. I called at the store at about 10.00 am, not realising they don,t actually open until midday. However I was greeted in a friendly manner and was given much useful information before concluding the purchase. It was a first class experience , absolutely fantastic staff, I think his name was Joe.

Aside from the initial first class buying experience I subsequently had two issues with which help was needed. In both cases a satisfactory outcome resulted in my faith in Richer Sounds being assured and if anything boosted. A replacement power lead, delivered to me by Joe at York, and then an exchange of goods by Kevin, following identification of a fault in an old amplifier, just go to show the determination to satisfy customers. Great job team York 👏👏

Great time spent getting the right product, and value for money

Kevin was very helpful and took time to check things for me. The shop was quite busy and staff were giving customers full attention, a proper experience compared to online guess work.

I have recently purchased a turntable and Bluetooth speakers from Richer Sounds in York and have received excellent service. Mike, the senior sales advisor, arranged a personal demonstration and I ordered the system. DPD delivery was the next day.
I realised that the speakers weren't exactly what I wanted and contacted Mike who arranged to exchange them and another demonstration.
Again the new speakers were delivered by DPD the following day, which was a Saturday.
The attention and service I received from Mike, and Richer Sounds York, were second to none and I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending the company.
