Thanks to the Team at RJH Manchester for their training, advice, guidance and patience. Passed my MOD1 and MOD 2 first time. Relaxed training atmosphere but professional at the same time.

Took my CBT with RJH a few weeks back now. The day seemed to be going relatively well. We then got to the Road ride portion. The radios seemed to struggle at points, which resulted in the guy in front of me (another person taking his CBT) going down the wrong road. This seemed to really anger the instructor. Anyway, we did a U turn and continued on the road. I unfortunately had a few moments of stalling (rush hour traffic in Wigan - not the best time for it to happen). We then headed towards Bolton. Upon coming to some Single speed bumps (one either side of the road), and both of us going over them - the instructor once again flipped and told us we had failed! However, the ride continued. We called in at a McDonald's for a coffee and I asked why there was an issue with the speed bumps (after now avoiding all the subsequent ones), and was told that it could cause problems. Fair enough, but seemed an overreaction. As the ride was continuing, I figured the 'You've failed' comment was said in frustration. We then headed back, with me taking the lead. Everything went great, no issues, praised on mirror checks and lifesavers. Thought it was all good. We then got back to the centre, to be told that a further 3 hours training would be needed. Disappointed, but figured the instructors knew best. I rang RJH the next day, to be told no feedback had been given, other than 3 hours needed! Was then told this would be at a cost of £120, with no availability until the second week of August. I really wasn't happy with this, but was told that I had signed to say I agreed, and 'that was that'. I didn't have my card, so would need to call back. After I hung up, I contacted a few other centres, to be told none of this seemed right - as stalling was no reason to 'fail' (even though its not a test!). I ended up paying for a full day's CBT at another centre a week later, and got through with flying colours. Paying £120 after already paying £200 seems a bit of mick take if we're being honest. Oh, and my second CBT was much cheaper!

100% would recommend, as a woman the experience can be quite daunting to start. But these guys were kind, friendly and so knowledgable. I felt at ease instantly and with their help passed the course whilst having fun.

Did my cbt yesterday with Mike at the Wigan branch and he was fantastic, clear and concise with his instructions and never repeated himself, I past my cbt no problem. He gets 5 stars!
Now the reason I’m giving RJH 1 star is because when I spoke to their call centre and I asked if it was possible to do my test without lessons, as all I’ll be riding is my Vespa, 125cc automatic and will never want to ride a bigger bike. Thus could I go straight to book my theory and mod 1/2 test, or do I need lessons, they hung up on me (and didn’t answer when I called back) when they realised that they might not be getting anymore money from me. I was only asking for some advice, nothing was set in stone. Not the best service.

Fantastic instructor. Very professional but made you feel relaxed and at ease. I’m even considering going for my bike test. Thank you

RJH should be very proud of their Instructors who are truly dedicated to train and get you through your Mod 1 and Mod 2 tests. I would highly recommend anyone thinking about their bike test to go to RJH Eccles Manchester.

I took my CBT yesterday 20/5/23 at the Yamaha Centre Wigan,under the very professional and experienced eyes of John and Tony.
Couldn’t have asked for a better day weather wise.Both instructors were very thorough and explained everything in a manner that was super easy to understand. Thanks to these guys i was able to walk away at the end of the day with my CBT certificate. Thanks John and Tony 👍😄

Spent last Saturday at RJH Northwich doing a CBT course with Jon Howells. A demanding day but a very enjoyable one too as Jon took us through all the CBT elements. Many thanks to Jon for his patience and for passing on valuable knowledge from his years of motorbiking experience.

Done and passed my cbt training however the foul language and manners of 1 instructor was terrible.. really made me feel uneasy

I just like to say thanks for the training to get my CBT The instructor N. Macmillan was very provisional and made it very enjoyable.

100% recommend RJH! Took my CBT in Oct 22 having never ridden a bike before and passed my full A license Feb 23! All the staff incredibly knowledgable, patient and friendly. Graham, Nick and John all fantastic. Special shout out to Scott who became like a mate having tutored me through most of my DAS lessons. Thanks a bunch RJH.

Great instructor(Sylvia) was a great teacher always very polite and helpful overall amazing day learnt a lot and helped me pass first time thankyou very much Sylvia and RJH.

Brilliant group of people to get you through your test! Everything from the quality of the bikes themselves to the upbeat instructors which make for a really good experience. Pete, Sophie and Sylvia all worked great together and got me through my complete set of tests with ease! Thoroughly recommended!

Booked my 17 year old son in for a 2 hour taster session in Eccles. He had never ridden a motorbike before so didn’t know what to expect. His instructor Graham, was great, very patient and calm, explaining everything really well. My son really enjoyed in and picked it up really well. He has now been booked in for his CBT later in February which he is really looking forward to. I would really recommend the taster for any beginners to learn the basics before taking their CBT. Special thanks to Graham, who was able to keep my son going for the full 2 hours with no complaints! Really pleased!

This bike training company very poor. once they took my money for the crash course I had days cancelled at last minute from them. when I did eventually get a day to do my training the guy was grumpy & off with me, I was left for long periods that day on my own to practice in a tiny car park. I left without completing the course. I lost out on my money for a crash course but at least I was away from that guy. stay away from this place you will feel bullied to quit.
