Podcast & Coaching highly recommended

Have been a long-time listener of the Roadman Podcast for many years, and a coaching client of Anthony's for the last 5 years. Cannot recommend highly enough. The coaching offering is first class, highly personalised and recognises that every rider has different goals, abilities, and needs. The team adopts a real-world approach which understands that people have busy lives, and the community that has developed is great to be a part of.

Game Changer

Started cycling in 2010 and, within a couple of years, became your typical amateur athlete — constantly riding in the grey zone with little connection between training and nutrition.

I bought countless cycling books and tried building my own periodized training plans, but eventually got overwhelmed and ended up going back to my usual approach: just smashing the pedals.

Now, entering a new age category this year, I’m determined to get the most out of my fitness by training and fuelling properly. A friend mentioned the Roadman podcast last December, and during my first episode Anthony talked about the “Not Done Yet” coaching program. It was exactly what I needed.

Since joining the program in January, I’ve lost 3 kg by learning to “fuel for the work required,” discovered my true FTP, dialed in the correct training zones, and gained direct access to a coach who personalizes my weekly sessions.

I’m really looking forward to enjoying the benefits this cycling season. Total game changer — and stress free

Been listening to the Podcast since…

Been listening to the Podcast since 2019ish, tons of valuable info for older athletes. Joined the "Not Done Yet" group last fall. My new understanding of the process and some of the whys for my training have really ramped up my desire to get better. Worth the time and effort to do it right.

Feels like years I’ve been listening to…

Feels like years I’ve been listening to the Roadman podcast, following what felt like Anthony’s personal journey to get back in top form. Back in December when he announced Not Done Yet, I knew I had to try it out. Honestly, it has far exceeded my expectations. Not just in my number gains, but the knowledge I have to ride my bikes more strategically. What a gift a coach can give. Everyday out on the bike is better than before, one of my mottos is: fast is fun… and without a doubt I’m a lot faster… unfortunately I wasn’t able to convince others to sign up with me, now they are too scared to join me on rides. Don’t make this mistake. Sign up, level up, and bring some friends.

Trust the process

I’ve been listening to this podcast for a few years now, and in late November I joined their coaching program “Not Done Yet.” The massive amount of knowledge Anthony, Sarah, and Coach Matthew have is incredible. Learning how to train is one thing, but learning why and the how it all pieces together is another.

After many years focused on endurance…

After many years focused on endurance cycling, I reached a difficult phase last season with a clear performance plateau associated with signs of low energy availability / RED-S. Despite continuing to train consistently, recovery, freshness and progression were no longer where they should have been.
Working with Roadman Cycling has been a very positive turning point. What impressed me most was the balanced and evidence-based approach: not simply adding more volume or intensity, but understanding the broader physiological picture — recovery, fueling, training distribution and long-term sustainability.
The coaching has helped me rebuild consistency without excessive fatigue, improve my confidence in training again, and gradually restore both performance and recovery capacity. The structure of the training, the communication, and the emphasis on aerobic development and proper fueling have all been excellent.
For endurance athletes who may be stuck in a plateau or struggling with accumulated fatigue from years of training, I believe Roadman Cycling offers a thoughtful and intelligent approach rather than a “more is always better” mentality.
Highly recommended.

Absolutely phenomenal content

Absolutely phenomenal content. Advice and information is presented in a very digestible format and backed up by evidence with nuances explained by experts. I have implemented many of the recommendations with good results. Also, Anthony went out of his way to help me out as a complete stranger when I broke my cleat.

Anto is great and extremely knowledgeable on the cycling. If he doesn’t have the answer (unlikely) he’ll know someone does. Highly recommend.

Came for the podcast stayed for the pain cave!

I’ve been listening to the Roadman Cycling Podcast since its inception, and it just gets better and better. The variety of guest, from different backgrounds, all there trying to make life better is phenomenal . Highly recommend this.
I have also worked with Anthony as my coach and couldn’t recommend this enough if you want to improve. As a former professional who truly cares about your progress, it’s great working with him, especially as he is also a true student of cycling, training, and is always looking to improve.
Working with Anthony I got over a 30% increase in my FTP power over a 4 month period.

Roadman cycling is more than a podcast

Roadman cycling is more than a podcast, more than a coaching platform and more than a club - it's an all encompassing cycling community and a space where cyclists of all levels and abilities can thrive and develop together.

Listening, watching and doing - changed my opinions on cycling

Having read book after book after book on: coaching, nutrition, recovery, tactics, bike git and got so confused as to what was what - i simply gave up.

I was then told about the podcast by a friend who was waxing lyrical about Anthonys opinions on etiquette whilst on group rides. Since listening to my first podcast to now having listened to the whole back library, The Roadman podcast is my favourite cycling podcast by far and no other cast even comes close.

The humour, the language and also, the explanations by both Anthony and his guests means that I am personally gaining so much knowledge which is then helping me whilst on my bike.

I listened and read intently all of the details about the: Roadman Not Done Yet training program and decided to give the program a go. Having somewhat 'embellished' the truth when initially speaking to Anthony about weight etc, I started working with Anthony and his team in October 25.

Having spent (what seemed) like an additional life time riding at Z1 and Z2, listening to the advice and doing the training plans as exactly outlined, I have lost more weight than I could have ever imagined, my FTP has gone up and of course my power to weight ratio or Watts Per Kilogram has increased significantly too.

The racing season has started and even with all of the work that I have done, I have still got catch up to play but, I can quite honestly say that I know that I can catch up. I have to keep on believing in the process and executing boring

This is where it gets very interesting.....listening to the podcast and following the training program my historical beliefs of: Eat less to lose weight, train harder and harder to achieve more, dont have a day off, chain gangs at least twice per week and destroy yourself, when not 'outside' - race on zwift and destroy yourself in races.....HAVE ALL CHANGED and i have literally had a 180 degree change.

Using Hexis as recommended by Anthony and Dr David Dunne - I am eating and drinking more than ever both on the bike and off the bike BUT, at the right times and with the right mixture of things such as: carbs, protein and fats which are based on what I am actually doing or have done. Training has become fun and disciplined - even though there are times where I was I could join a group ride with my pals and, I am having days off which means I am gaining brownie points at home.

I have already given my opinion of the podcast but the training program and the other group members are a breath of fresh air. How I wish that such a program and group was available many years ago. That I had stripped everything back to basics and almost started all over again from scratch without any preconceived ideas or dangerous snippets of information that I misunderstood or the person telling me had misunderstood.

I am looking forward to the coming months, seeing how far I can push myself and how high i can raise the bar or, how high Anthony and his team raise the bar for me to aim at.

Give it a shot

joined the Not Done Yet coaching program 7 months ago. with the amount of attention and guidance I have been receiving I am on track to crush my A priority race. I actually find one of the most helpful features of the program is the community... so many like minded cyclists chatting daily about tech, kit, aero, pro cycling. WOuld highly recommend!

The Roadman Cycling Podcast is hands…

The Roadman Cycling Podcast is hands down one of the best cycling podcasts out there. Anthony and Sarah brings a mix of knowledge, honest conversation, and genuine passion for the sport. If you love the ins and outs of the world of cycling, this is for you.

What really sets this podcast apart is the quality of the guests and the depth of the discussions. From world-class coaches and pro riders to experts in nutrition, recovery, and performance, the conversations are practical, inspiring, and never feel superficial. You can tell Anthony and Sarah genuinely care about helping cyclists improve, not just creating content for clicks.

Highly recommended.
