I would thoroughly recommend Romans and Firstforauctions. They work together as part of the same overall company & have an extremely good partnership. The team were fantastic from the start. They did an excellent job in selling my dad’s property via auction with Firstfor auctions with their hard work & experience. They were very helpful & friendly. Answered all our questions & couldn’t be any better. Very professional & always said to contact them if we had any other questions. The property sold for a huge amount of money which we were very pleased with & it was down to their extremely hard work & dedication. I would thoroughly recommend them.

I have been a landlord for more than 5 years and use the fully managed service with Romans Farnborough branch. The smooth running of the tenancy is mainly dependant on the services of the Property Manager.
Our Property Manager Jackie Miles- Miller is a real asset who provides a great service. She is amazingly proactive and is always ready to suggest solutions to any problems or issues that come our way.

Do not use this company if you want to see you property ..
I received phone calls every day asking to sign once signed nothing no contact .. after 2 weeks on the market told me to reduce by £25,000 then another 2 weeks later told be to reduce by another £25,000 .. can’t even value a property.. I had to ask for feedback after each viewing, they show people that have a budget £75,000 less that my asking price.. just to improve the viewing numbers this company is laughable.. stay away from them if you want to sell ..

I had a property viewing with agent name Jay in Basingstoke. very professional, helpful, was able to answer most of question and with positive vibe.

does not matter if get the property but i am happy with the service he provided.

Used Romans for a "fully managed" service on a rental flat.

The tenant they sourced paid a couple of months rent and then just stopped. Over a period of 8 months, if Romans did anything more than the odd phone call to manage the situation it was not apparent to me. I felt completely abandoned by them.

Our "dedicated property manager" never once responded to emails or returned my calls. Like not ever. They only got in touch when they wanted something. The only way I was able to get any attention was to turn up at my local branch and make a fuss.

When the tenant eventually left in a trail of debt and damage, Romans did nothing at all to recover the debt. I was told there would be arbitration but nothing ever happened.

My experience involved a lot of stress, a lot of being ignored and ending up significantly out of pocket. Literally the opposite of what a managed service should offer.

First of all I would like to thank Thomas of Romans, he has done an excellent job of putting my flat up for sale, we couldn't ask for a better service, an excellent customer service with top professional attitude towards their clients, they were quick, prompt service with no delays, if you had a problem or couldn't understand something or you needed help Romans was more than happy to come round and sit with us to solve the problems, always their when you need them, easy and friendly member of staff always willing to help, now that's what I call excellent customer service.

I would like to say that Romans have to be the best estate agents that we have had

I would like to partition my review in two parts -
1. The initial property manager for the flat I was renting (Jamie Harper) was very unresponsive. He wouldn't answer calls and would only respond to emails if I copied a bunch of other people on them. It was mostly impossible to get any repair work done from Jamie. (A simple bathroom door latch fix took more than three months). The living room balcony door was broken. This was letting cold air in and made the living room uninhabitable in the winter.
I chased Jamie on this for more than a month with no progress. Luckily for me, Jamie went on vacation without doing any work on this, which was when this was assigned to Donna-Marie Brant.
2. When Donna-Marie Brant was assigned as the property manager for my flat, I had been waiting on a critical repair for more than a month. She made quick progress in understanding the gravity of the situation and coordinated very well with all concerned parties to get the work done. She was very transparent about where the bottleneck was and how she was expediting the process. She got the work done in a couple of weeks of her involvement. Overall I'm very happy with her transparency and speed of functioning.

I would just like to say that since Lisa Fazal from the Farnborough office has taken over from Jamie its been brilliant, could not ask anymore of Romans. Lisa is proactive, Friendly and extremely efficient and nothing is too much trouble and Lisa continues to provide updates and stay in constant communication, I have to say we have never been more happier than we are now. Lisa is a massive credit to Romans, definitely 5 stars from us :)

Charlie was very professional and friendly. He had only positive things to say about the flat and got it on the market very quickly.

Move Manager Alison Savva did an amazing job. If it had not been for her my sale would never have reached completion. Many thanks Alison for your hard work and professionalism.
Lifetime Legal - I would not recommend using this service to anyone. They are now dealing with my ongoing complaint against the conveyancing solicitor, Melia Mumford, who they placed me with. Although Life Time Legal’s complaints department are being helpful I feel that they need to thoroughly review the firms they place clients with. Earning almost £1000 as a finders fee for placing clients with solicitors who are unable to offer a satisfactory level of customer service is unacceptable. I wish I had chosen my own solicitor and regret signing up with Lifetime Legal.

My moving manager was AMAZING!!!.
She supported me and bended backwards and forwards in order to help with my purchase to go ahead. I can't thank her enough. People in branch (Farnborough) were helpful, polite and professional

Mike was very easy to talk to. He was interested in our reason for wanting to move and had a really good knowledge of the areas we are interested in. Romans are very well set up and their partners in conveyancing etc were also very fast to get things moving.

Excellent service. All very thorough and timely. Would highly recommend. Particular thanks to Charlie Gammon. Really switched on and always happy to help.
